I have been through plenty of cars and with what plenty of Jiffy Lubes and none of them have been as good to me as this one! I drive back and forth from Frederick to DC (100 miles roundtrip 5 - 6 times a week - I am pretty sure this part of the review is a rant lol), so as you can imagine I am visiting Jiffy Lube quite often when I can't see my regular mechanic. Doug and his team are incredible - they are down to earth and very transparent with what service you need and most importantly what services you DON'T. I came for an oil change. I was told that I didn't need an oil change based on their I information in their system. I explained that I did not receive an oil change at the last visit but my AC was serviced. He replied "If you want me to take your money". I watched as he was much more courteous to other customers that came in for service. I am on the road a lot and can't always commit to a regular service center, but I will never return to this jiffy lube. read more

Took my Volvo there for an oil change. While there, they took care of the tire rotation which was on the honey-do list and was very good price. In and out in 30 minutes with a good deal. Now, the reason for the 5 star - the next day, I took the car back as my tire pressure was low. No issue- they took me right away and filled all tires to verify I was good to go. Horrible customer service. I arrived at 5:35 they didn't want to service me because they closed at 6. Close at 6 means close at 6 not 25 mins prior because you want to leave. I had just got off work. imagine Waiting in line at McDonald's and you've been in line but they close at 6pm so when 6pm comes they shut the line down and your time was wasted. Today is the first time I'm getting an oil change at Jiffy Lube. The workers are fast and there wasn't any wait time. I like how one of the workers wiped the outside of my car, the glass car window and windshield while another worker changed the oil. This is a good experience and maybe a better option then waiting at the dealership. read more

Excellent oil change and filter change service on Black Friday. Staff is always very courteous, from the moment you pull up and are greeted by the technicians to the desk check-in. Always promptly attended to. Staff are knowledgeable and good at making recommendations for services my cars need but always courteously accept my decisions. End product is good enough, but the supervisor du jour, who identified himself as "Sky" (interestingly, he was the only worker I saw without his name on his shirt) was rude, condescending, and I question his integrity. First interaction was him presenting me my air filter which, though a little dirty, did not meet my level of replacement (and, I usually do that easy chore myself for cheaper); when I informed him that I would stay with it for a little longer, he asked in a condescending, almost bullying tone "are you sure?" When I assured him I was sure, he again responded rudely by shaking his head ruefully and returning to the computer screen. Then he asked about my wiper blades, and while I knew they were nearing replacement time, I do them myself cheaper too; so I simply declined his offer to replace my blades without further explanation, to which he again replied in a somewhat bullying manner "are you sure? My guys say ones about to tear off." Again I had to decline, and was again met with a ruefully shaking head. . . . Then, when I presented him with a $12.00 off coupon and left it on the desk for him and started to sit down, he told me to take the coupon, that he didn't need it, leading me to believe that he would deduct the $12 at closeout. However, at closeout I asked him to show me the $12 deduction, and he responded that he NEEDED THE COUPON to get the code; leading me to believe if I didn't ask, it wouldn't have happened. It just felt cheesy! The manager and crew about 5-10 years ago was top notch in all areas; clean looking guys; active floor supervision; polite; no bullying. Ever since it changed management, though, I can't really say any of these things. If this JL wasn't so close, and the end product acceptable, I'd probably look elsewhere. . . . . . . Took my car in to repair a tire w/a slow leak. Tommy fixed the tire in no time at all. Tommy was honest & fair - I was actually overwhelmed! I even tried to give him a little tip & he would not accept it. I feel sometimes us women feel like we get ripped off a bit when getting any car "stuff" done. lived in mount airy all my life and used this location for years and recently got an oil change in my new car and didn't realize they had stripped out my oil pan drain bolt and didn't say anything to me.Checked my oil a few weeks later and it was 2 qts low and realized something was wrong so took off cover for oil pan and saw oil on the bottom of the pan and also on bolt and when I went to tighten the bolt it just continued spinning.Don't trust this place one bit and will never use them again. read more

My "oil low" light came on - a first for me - on a busy travel day for work. I pull into this jiffy lube and I panic, because they're slammed. But they pull my car aside, check everything out, fill my oil and my wiper fluid, and send me on my way without charging me a dime. I'm far from home, so while I can't justify coming back for an oil change, everyone reading this review should, because these guys are gentlemen who saved my ass today! Thanks! read more

This is seriously the best Jiffy Lube. I had some pretty bad experiences with other locations prior to coming here, so when I move here six years ago I was hesitant... but I've gone to no other place besides this location since I did! The guys are so nice and professional, and never try to push things on me. My service is always so quick, and the waiting room is always filled with magazines and coffee if needed. read more

I have been taking my cars here for years. Customer service was always good. But they now have gone above and beyond. I just got a new car and the tire was low. It is a newer weird tire. I purchased a warranty from BMW. They found a piece of glass. Filled the tire for no cost. Amazing Customer Service. read more

This Jiffy Lube location is excellent. Even when it is busy, the wait is reasonable. I've never encountered a rude employee, everyone is incredibly friendly. They don't pressure you for the extra services although I usually end up getting them because it is so convenient. I've never had a major repair done here, mostly oil changes, filter changes, etc., but all of them have been good! read more

We have all read the horror stories about JL. Not every one is the same. I had 1 vehicle in front of me and I had an oil and tire rotation done in 20 min. The guy didn't pressure me into things and asked what type of oil I wanted. Didn't push full synthetic. Told me about their oil top off policy which is nice. Can always find a coupon. I'll will use them again for oil and rotations. The major stuff I'll take to my other mechanic. So if you need an oil change I would recommend them. read more
