Crooks! Stay far away. I used to work with jimmy bowie years ago and I thought I'd give him a try when I needed auto repair. Told me I needed a new transmission he replaced it but the car still does the same thing. Took the car to Amco Transmission and they fixed my car for $350. I went back to Evergreen and he tried to talk to him and he became confrontational. I know the transmission is already in the car, but he couldn't even reimburse me for the labor when he misdiagnosed my problem and charged me $4500. The least you could do was say sorry or reimburse me something, you never fixed my problem read more

I live inside the DC beltway. A while back I broke down during rush hour under the 270 overpass on Buckeystown Pike in Frederick. If you know this place you know it's heavy traffic and only two lanes. My car was blocking one of the lanes and it takes about five minutes to start a 2 mile backup, so I needed help right away. Evergreen got me out of there in less than 5 minutes, and since I was from out of town they worked on my car on the spot. They charged under $100 to fix th ignition switch and had me on my way in under an hour. Just incredibly good service. I'll always be grateful for the assistance that day. Amazing service for vacationers in need! We had stayed the night in Frederick, MD on our way from Cleveland, OH to the Outer Banks, NC when a window ceased functioning...stuck in the down position. It was a Saturday. We needed help ASAP. The Toyota dealer was booked. Evergreen Auto Repair, though busy, heard our plight and began work immediately. They quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the replacement parts and got us on our way in about two hours. They even stayed past their posted closing time to do it. This auto service center is reliable, honest and has reasonable competitive pricing for various services, i brought my own genuine part the ignition switch for my 2006 hyundai azera to replace, they installed it for $59 bucks. Great service, honest, and fast! While traveling through MD, my car's serpentine belt broke and I coasted into the gas station across the street from this repair shop. I couldn't have been luckier to break down there. I called the shop and spoke with Mark, the manager, who came across the street to look at my car and order the parts needed to repair it. While waiting *forever* (90+ minutes) for a tow truck to just get me across the street, Mark took it upon himself to get my car to the shop on his own so the work could be completed and I could get back on the road. This was a Saturday and the shop was supposed to close at noon but they took me in anyway. The employees stayed late, fixed my car, showed me exactly what they did, and what I should take care of next, all without showing a hint of frustration or inconvenience.
