Other places are either a mess, they charge you ridiculous prices for tiny things (and you did the work to pull it!), or they just don't appreciate your business. I never go anywhere else now. I noticed they also made a bit more effort to organize the vehicles a bit recently so thats good too. My only suggestion. They should have a facebook or some kind of email newsletter so you know when they get the vehicle you are looking for.

They let me know they would pay more and I took them up on their offer. I went into carmax and started their process, it took about 45 minutes and the salesman really beat me up I felt like, hammered me about the cars miles, the condition, error codes etc.. The offer was low and after the barrage I told him let me go across the street and see what they offer. I drove literally across the street and met Mark and started the cash money process. After about 15 minutes he was back and said he liked the car and offered me $200 over the Carmax price, I told him another $200 and we had a deal and we shook on it and I couldnt have been happier. That jump across the street yielded me another 400$ and I got the check that day. Mark helped me unload my trunk and clean out the car AND drove me back home. I cant say enough nice things about CMC. I've been to a lot of scrap yards and i can honestly say that I've never seen / experienced one like this. It's so well organized, you don't have to go searching or digging for anything. I just drove through the lot until i saw what I was looking, all organized into piles. And the staff was amazing. Super helpful and professional. You can tell that they genuinely enjoy working there. Which says a lot about the way the business is ran. The guys working the lot were very knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions. I had also reached out on Facebook with some questions and they responded almost immediately sending pictures, videos, pricing, etc. And from a woman's perspective I can say it was refreshing. I wasn't treated like I didn't know what I was doing, which more often than not is what happens when I walk in to other places like this. I just can't say enough about the staff. Sahds is so uniquely different than any other scrap yard/metal recycling place I've ever been to. It's over an hour away from me but there's no question that I'll be going back there, many many time.
