Autozone Monocacy blvd Frederick MD If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter came in looking for assistance with her car as it was giving her troubles. My daughter was in emotional distress when she entered. When she first contacted me about her car trouble, I advised her to go to Autozone because I had never had an issue gaining assistance before. My daughter was on FaceTime with my other daughter & me. She was treated disrespectfully & rudely by the two staff members working. While my daughter stood at the counter they openly & flagrantly mocked her & her situation. I know she spoke unkindly in retaliation to their actions before exiting. She proceeded to have another panic attack while in her car. After we got her to calm down a bit, she looked up & observed the staff continuing to mock her. The actions of the staff is unbelievable. My other daughter tried to call to get the names of the staff working & was also tried rudely & unprofessional (she also responded in kind). The male staff member refused to legibly provide his name so that we may reference him correctly when speaking with a manager in the following morning. I am very disappointed in the lack of care &b professionalism provided this evening to both my daughters, both in person & over the phone. I will be in contact with the manager in the morning to discuss the actions of this evening. read more

My sister had disgusting interaction with employees that are described below: Native looking with long dark hair & a red shirt & black jacket White girl with plaid, dirty blonde colored hair Now my sister was in an emotional state because her car wouldn't start, when she was able to get her car started my mom told her to try to go to auto zone to see if there was anything they could do to help. When she got there she informed the male employee that she was scared to turn the car off because she didn't know if it would start again, his response was "No the care needs to be off" she explained why she couldn't turn the car off and explained there is a new battery and new starter in the car and didn't know why it wasn't starting. he said "we need the car to be off, if you can't turn the car off we can't help". she stated she was afraid to take the car home he said condescendingly said "you should of taken it home" and then stated "this isn't a mechanic shop" she said she brought it there because the mechanic shops were closed and needed temporary help. she explained why she needed help explaining the situation and he states "they decline to help any further". So she stepped away to get an opinion from my mom and I who were on the phone during the entire interaction!!!!!!!! she said "is this an f-ing joke" to which the male employee mocked her to the female employee stating "is this an f-ing joke" while my sister was standing there and my mother and I are listening. she then left the store to which they continued mocking her as she tried to calm down in her car and figure out her next moves. I then called to get the names of the employees who had interacted with my sister and the male answered said a name I couldn't understand and then spelled it. To which I couldn't understand when I asked if he could repeat himself he stated no he didn't have to because he already gave me the information, I said I didn't understand he basically didn't care to give me the information again he was rude and had an attitude throughout the entire interaction and refused any further assistance. So I called him a B***** and hung up. (ALL I KNOW IS THE NAME STARTS WITH A J) THIS IS THE MOST DISGUSTING RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SET OF INDIVIDUALS THAT LACK ANY KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE BETTER THAN THE CUSTOMER WHO CAME IN DISTRESSED ABOUT HER MODE OF TRANSPORTATION THAT HELPS HER MAINTAIN HER LIVELIHOOD. your employees made a customer feel as if they were not worthy of getting any help were rude when asked who they were. read more

Highly recommend!! I dont know the staffs, but the manager is super cool guy and really nice!!!! He is sooo kind

Anytime I have an issue with my car there is always someone at this Autozone willing to help and answer my questions. Last time I was there Chris the manager went above and beyond to help me. As a mom with little ones, it is scary when the car has a check engine light turn on or a headlight go out. This Autozone has been amazing over the years to help us stay safe with a working vehicle! Great team and AutoZone, highly recommended. read more

Typically, this place has better customer service but today was not one of their better moments. One person helping customer with parts, which I understood. But another female employee just standing behind the desk messing around with their computer while customers were in line, well that's a bit unacceptable. I gave up waiting for about 5 minutes or so and promptly drove to Advance Auto. read more

Thank goodness for Autozone! I woke up on a Monday morning with a dead car battery. One I got it jumpstarted I headed straight to this autozone just down the street from my house to get some help. They open early which was great for me! The service specialist tested my battery, found what worked for my car, and had it installed within 15 minutes and I was on my way. He made sure I had everything I needed for the warranty that the battery came with and explained to me what I needed if this battery ever failed within 5 years. They were helpful, friendly, and fast! read more

Well I just finished talking with an INCREDIBLY knowledgeable, thoughtful, professional, patient associate!! Despite my interruption of his smoke break, to ask a bunch of questions and even have him look under my hood and walk me through how to replace a car battery, he was more than happy to assist me! He answered all my questions (I know next to nothing about what goes on under my car's hood) in a clear manner, wasn't at all in a hurry, annoyed, or rude. All that awesome customer service, AND I DIDN'T PURCHASE ANYTHING! I'm not totally familiar with the area; but he was transparent about the 3 or 4 businesses nearby where I could buy used car batteries, when I asked. But THEN he did me one better...as we were talking I mentioned my Subaru that's currently got engine issues and is just sitting. He informed me that I can just take the working battery from the Subaru and put it in my car with the dead battery!!! Who knew?!?!? Not me! Woooohoooooo, made my day! read more

I needed a screw to attach my splash shield on my Ford Escape. Dean was able to help me find an alternative screw to fit, as they didn't carry the exact Ford part. Dean works at a different Autozone, was just at this store to help out. He was amazingly helpful! read more

They were attentive, listening to my concerns and price gouging from two other auto repair companies one in Howard County and the other just down the road from them. I called last minute to see if they had a headlight bulb for my vehicle, they did and advised me to come in before it got dark and they would replace it for me, for free! Sometimes I get great service, sometimes not so much. I can usually find what I need and the prices are reasonable.

The employees are always friendly, and helpful. I typically only buy smaller priced items such as spark plugs, fluids, battery...things like that. Little odds as ends needed at a moments notice. Everything else would be much cheaper online.(eBay) The location is really convenient to a major shopping area. I was even able to leave my car there 2 years ago overnight when it broke down for a night. Probably the best auto parts retailer in Frederick. The advance auto on rt 40 is ALWAYS packed and employees are much much slower and barely speak English. read more

I had the worst experience this afternoon and will NEVER shop at another Autozone due to this one experience. I was looking for a nut to rear windshield wiper post as the original one was dropped and lost. The first male I spoke with, as I explained, looked at me as tho I were the stupidest person on the planet, interrupted me and said there is no way of knowing unless he ordered the entire assembly. I stated I already had the assembly, I just needed the nut. He referred me to the Store Manager who was standing 3.5' away from this conversation, with no other customers in the store at the time, who then asked what the problem was as he sang a song to himself. Very rude customer service. The first male attempted to describe my request and was unable to articulate it nor did he care, I stepped in and explained clearly what I needed, to which the Store Manager stated, "No can do" arrogantly and then just sat there singing to himself. I thought he might expand on it, or maybe offer to come outside to look at it but clearly he felt customer service was not as important as serenading us all with his singing. I finally said fine, turned to walk and he started mumbling something about parts as I was halfway out the door. I went to a local hardware store where I was helped by an elderly man. So the 10 cent nut you lost tonight also cost you all the cleaning supplies I purchase to clean my car, the next battery I will need, the brake pads and rotors I would have purchased, the car mats for rear of my vehicle I'm purchasing next month, all the fluids that I purchase. I will be going to O'Reily or Napa where I'm treated with respect and offered customer service, not a song and dance. read more
