My daughter was in emotional distress when she entered. When she first contacted me about her car trouble, I advised her to go to Autozone because I had never had an issue gaining assistance before. My daughter was on FaceTime with my other daughter & me. She was treated disrespectfully & rudely by the two staff members working. While my daughter stood at the counter they openly & flagrantly mocked her & her situation. I know she spoke unkindly in retaliation to their actions before exiting. She proceeded to have another panic attack while in her car. After we got her to calm down a bit, she looked up & observed the staff continuing to mock her. The actions of the staff is unbelievable. My other daughter tried to call to get the names of the staff working & was also tried rudely & unprofessional (she also responded in kind). The male staff member refused to legibly provide his name so that we may reference him correctly when speaking with a manager in the following morning. I am very disappointed in the lack of care &b professionalism provided this evening to both my daughters, both in person & over the phone. I will be in contact with the manager in the morning to discuss the actions of this evening.

When she got there she informed the male employee that she was scared to turn the car off because she didn't know if it would start again, his response was "No the care needs to be off" she explained why she couldn't turn the car off and explained there is a new battery and new starter in the car and didn't know why it wasn't starting. he said "we need the car to be off, if you can't turn the car off we can't help". she stated she was afraid to take the car home he said condescendingly said "you should of taken it home" and then stated "this isn't a mechanic shop" she said she brought it there because the mechanic shops were closed and needed temporary help. she explained why she needed help explaining the situation and he states "they decline to help any further". So she stepped away to get an opinion from my mom and I who were on the phone during the entire interaction!!!!!!!! she said "is this an f-ing joke" to which the male employee mocked her to the female employee stating "is this an f-ing joke" while my sister was standing there and my mother and I are listening. she then left the store to which they continued mocking her as she tried to calm down in her car and figure out her next moves. I then called to get the names of the employees who had interacted with my sister and the male answered said a name I couldn't understand and then spelled it. To which I couldn't understand when I asked if he could repeat himself he stated no he didn't have to because he already gave me the information, I said I didn't understand he basically didn't care to give me the information again he was rude and had an attitude throughout the entire interaction and refused any further assistance. So I called him a B***** and hung up. And to boot, they do work that no one else would touch. For me, that included a complete rebuild of my 2006 transmission in 2024 in their shop. Yes it was costly but it was not a remanufactured tranny and extended the life of my car. If the engine goes, I'll likely return for an engine rebuild rather than a remanufactured engine. On another day, some basic work that should be simple and easy they seem capable of completely missing the mark. Couple this with their reliance on Metro Motor.com and their BG maintenance recommendations and you have what feels like a very hard sell to get your money. The BG recommendations are like a laundry list of what you MIGHT do to your auto if you had unlimited funds and just wanted to spend freely. There seems to be no rnyme or reason to the recommendations either in milage or elapased time. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind paying premiusm prices (which Ken's is) for premium work. That's the issue. I feel like it's sometimes worth it and other times not. I've reached the consclusion that they will get my more difficult jobs but routine maintenance will be handled elsewhere. I wonder if over time they have changed ownership or have new sales incentives in place. It's a shame. I really want them to be like The Car Talk guys from Boston and only do what's right.

Sunday night, my car wouldn't start. I had it towed to superior on Sunday night and it was there…read morefor them first thing Monday morning. Superior noted on the invoice that the car was dead on arrival. Said they tested the battery and that they were able to start the vehicle with starting fluid after multiple attempts. Well, to me that means there were something wrong with the car battery. They got the car running and charged me $155. They kept the car all day, over seven hours to do the safety maintenance inspection that I didn't ask for. They didn't ask me either. Two days later, the car would not start again. I called superior to let them know and they said that the battery was OK when it was there. The battery was dead in their own words when they checked it. I don't understand why they didn't replace the battery. I was unable to go to work on my new job on Wednesday, I would think that an auto service center would recognize when a battery needs replaced.. I am homeless and sleeping in my car. I have no money to get it towed. Fortunately, somebody helped me in the Walmart parking lot to get the car running so I can drive it to a Walmart service center. If that kind person did not help me, I would've been stuck there. I would not have been able to go to work. I wouldn't had a place to sleep. Anyway, I think they should've changed the battery on Monday when the car was in their shop. I think they should've recognized that since it was dead on Sunday and Monday and it was a really old battery, they should have replaced it. Since they didn't, it was a big hassle for me not going back to Superior auto service again. It said on the invoice that they recommended that I monitor it. That is ridiculous. I'm supposed to just drive the car around and hope that it starts when I get back in. I would have to have an expense of it being towed. Shouldn't they fix the car so you don't get stranded somewhere ? Walmart charged me $150 for the battery and instillation. Superior charged me $155 and didn't fix the car. They just gave me a list of $2000 worth of stuff that needed to be Repaired.

When I got a call back from her all she said was "you need a new one". Okay.. why? Is there a nail, or something puncturing the tire, can we patch it, what? "uhh welll it's got sidewall issues and it's bald so you need all 4 tires replaced". Okay... so we can't patch it? "uhh we just recommend cause they are all bald to replace them." Train your people better. Safe to say I had my car sent to Mr. Tire down the street because this whole exchange (not even worried about the phone/computer system being down) was AWFUL. Do better.
