They have been fair with everything i've had fixed. Its a 2004, so its bound to have some issues. But its a beautiful car, I'm happy as can be! Dishonest and Unprofessional from Start to Finish! My experience with Auto House Tempe was extremely disappointing and frustrating from beginning to end. I encountered misleading advertising, pressure tactics, and a complete lack of professionalism from the salesman (Grant), the manager, and the finance department manager. The vehicle was advertised on Cars.com at a low price, but once I arrived, I was told that price only applied if you had a trade-in and financed through them. They claimed Cars.com is a third-party provider and that they "couldn't include the fine print." That alone felt deceptive. On top of that, they added $1,700 in mandatory upgrades that were not disclosed in the advertised price. These upgrades were not optional--you had to pay them, which significantly changed the real cost of the car. During my first visit, they pressured me to sign a deal based solely on a monthly payment. I was very clear that I wanted to negotiate based on the advertised price, not a payment. After a lot of back-and-forth, we finally reached numbers I was comfortable with. When I returned for the second visit, they demanded a deposit before providing full, detailed paperwork. I have never purchased a car where I was asked for a deposit before reviewing the complete deal--this was a huge red flag. They also required signing an "as-is" agreement. I asked reasonable questions: * What happens if I drive off the lot and the car turns out to be a lemon? * Is there an inspection report? * Is there any base warranty? The manager assured me yes and promised to email the inspection report and warranty details the next day. It has now been five days, and I've received nothing. I also texted the salesperson and got no response. I recently moved here from California, and I can confidently say this type of business practice would never fly there. Just find a better place. First off, pay attention to the added cost then they give a "discount" for using their financing. I know the price you are seeing online looks good, but pay attention to all the fees they add. Read the fine print, they act like you are getting a discount because they add a fee and then take it back. Even though my credit was excellent, the rate was not good and was told they're a small place and don't get the best rates, but financing rates are reflective on the compensation the lender pays the dealer, so they are just making a lot on the financing. I get used car dealers are all tough to deal with, but the worst part is I purchased a car from them 3 weeks ago with a trade in and as of today, my old loan has not been paid off. I have called every day this week and get passed around and no calls back and no results. I was told it was sent out and asked for the tracking info on the check and they can't provide that. I hate to write this review, but it's needed. Short story- the car keeps breaking down & I was left stranded in another state, which I still don't have my car back after 45 days due to ongoing mechanical issues. Auto house is NOT who you want to purchase from. Trust me. The long version- In Feb of 2023 I bought a Jeep from the dealership, a car I have wanted as long as I can remember. The process of getting the car was fine but that evening after purchasing it I noticed some red flags, things like the hard top didn't sound like it was on all the way & things like the "touch screen radio" they advertised didn't work at all. The dealership did try to look at these things but ultimately found nothing wrong. The very next day, not even 24 hours after, I decided I wanted my original car back because I didn't trust this jeep. They said they can't do that. Legally they didn't have to, but ethically after one day, they should have. As time went on I found out that the radio is only compatible with android phones & had no way of connecting except with wifi, I was told I would need to replace it to use apple car play for music or GPS. The roof in fact was NOT on, because it was missing parts. I fixed that by purchasing the parts. Weird things started to come out of the vents, like sticks of incense. This has me asking "did they even look at this car before selling it???" The car squeaks & screeches over any & all bumps. The brakes squeal & I emailed about this just after I bought it, no response on that. Have to hit them so hard to stop the car. About 60 days after my purchase date my car over heated on my way home from school & I had to bring it in to be serviced. One of the MAIN points I stressed to this dealer is I am in my last year of nursing school, I need something reliable, I go to hospitals all over the valley. The service manager said "Wow its barely been 60 days" when I had it fixed. Paid the deductible & moved on. Well, on July 5th 2023 my car overheated AGAIN while I was in Elko, Nevada for my father in laws funeral. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere, no way to get to Salt Lake (closest airport) & I had a nursing clinical in one day. This was an unexpected funeral but I was confident my car would get me there & back safe. I was WRONG. This not only cost me so much time, stress & money in a time of grief; it's almost October & I am still without a car because they are seeing all kinds of red flags at this mechanic shop, who are two very kind and reliable women that I actually trust. Interesting that this wasn't mentioned when serviced at AutoHouse? When I emailed the service manager he pretty much said that's terrible, best of luck. I truly believe that this car was sold to me knowing there were major issues & this is why they didn't want to take it back. I am terrified to drive this car back to Arizona from Nevada. I am scared to even bring it into the desert because what if I get stranded again? This isn't a normal feeling to have with a vehicle that's meant to be taken off roading & should definitely be able to handle a 12 hour drive. If you are in a season of your life where purchasing a car is less about reliability, I think auto house is fine. If you are looking for something honest & reliable, look elsewhere. Look at dealerships that are confident enough to guarantee their cars, not just get them out of their possession. There is a reason people hate buying cars, things like this happen. I question the honesty & integrity of this dealership. Is it worth the money to do bad business? It must be. The person who sold me this car doesn't even work here anymore so I think this says a lot. They didn't even lavel the numbers on the sheet...there was no spare tire or donut in the vehicle and they said they's put one in and didn't. The only reason I got a car from there is because it had the right miles for what I needed. You must know your totals, and numbers and do your homework before you go there. I dont recommend them unless you do your research and they have what you need. I will not go there again though. Oh and they didn't even give the lender my correct email...at all! Alex Gomez sold me a 2015 Jeep GC for $16K. Had it looked over by a trusted mechanic, who found a ticking noise in the engine. 3.6L V6 pentastar engines apparently are known to have this issue, caused by a broken rocker arm - 2500 dollars minimum to fix. I reached out to Auto House who told me they need to diagnose themselves and I would need to pay out of pocket for them to do so. This is after I confirmed with them before I bought that there is a base warranty that would cover any engine or powertrain issue. Now they want me to pay more. Do not trust this dealership. They sell lemons, look you in the eyes, shake your hand and tell you its all about trust before they screw you over. read more

He did not put on a ton of pressure, and explained the policies and procedures that Auto House employs which are different than other car dealerships. When will someone from the service warranty dept finally respond to my letters? This is ridiculous already. I have written 3 letters directly to the service warranty department and each letter has spanned anywhere from the required min of 8 weeks up to about 12 weeks in hopes that someone would respond eventually. Well several calls to follow up on the status of my correspondence correct department. No update has been given in any way shape or form. All I'm told is to write another letter. I will be going on my fourth letter, but not one response not one phone call and return with an update not one follow up call initiated by the company just that the process requires another letter be written so how many letters does it take to get an answer or get my money back, this is ethical. I did not know wasn't unethical irresponsible business at the time I made my purchase. I feel robbed by the company punished by the representatives ignored in my request for my refund and thrown away and discarded since my purchase was already made. do I need to get an attorney involved in order to have your company held responsible for their actions or their lack of action on my request. Is this company running a broad scheme that enables their employees to steal the clients money and dismiss them as if they were never clients to begin with? I am beyond disgusted over the matter if anyone is reading this and is aware of something that may be done outside of this ridiculous process to get results. Give us that one at this price cash out the door and you fix the following: Dead battery, blend door actuator, bald tires, sputtering engine, cracked windshield, humidity sensor, filthy interior, broken headrest that DIRECTLY TRIGGERS the airbag warning lights and a few other things I can't remember. Received 3 different phone calls of "Your car is ready, come and get it" only to find that EACH time NOTHING had been fixed. Quite the opposite, other things were getting broken by the dealership the longer they had it. I called no less that 20 times asking for updates and demanding to speak with GM's, service managers, my salesman, sales managers, hell even the owner to call me.... only to be met with the exact same response. Please do yourself a favor, and do NOT do business with these people. I purchased a used van, that I was assured was "safe". The vehicle was purchased on a Saturday. The following Wednesday i received a text from the salesman saying that the vehicle needed to have an emissions test done, that should have been completed before the vehicle was sold. On the ride home from the dealership on Saturday, the van had an issue where the right front wheel grabs. The issue continued, and while the van was there, due to the incompetence of "someone" at the dealership, I asked if they would please take a look at the issue with the wheel grabbing, and the sound it is making when the vehicle is placed in reverse. We purchased the vehicle "as is". However, we also purchased their "gold" warranty. The salesman that requested that we bring the van back for the emissions inspection claimed that he would be there, and would "take care of things". That, was, in fact, a bald faced lie. The sales manager I spoke with has very delicate sensibilities, and chose to be offended because I used the "F" word. I apologized that he chose to be offended, and he chose to lecture me on my choice of words, and then hung up on me. It is unfortunate that the sales manager is offended by a simple word, but to attempt to be my life coach and lecture me on my use of the language is laughable. I have made multiple efforts to make contact with someone from the dealership again via phone calls and texts, and they will not return my calls or reply to my messages. We just bought a wonderful Volvo from Marcella and Frenchy French at Auto House Tempe. They were amazing! This is my 18th car purchase and I have to say it was the easiest, most efficient transaction ever. We initially looked at the car on Saturday and drove it home on Monday. Frenchy even went to bat for us and got a little extra for our trade in. The Auto House Tempe setup is great also. We were expecting a hot sunny open car lot with obnoxious sales people - exactly the opposite of what we got. This truck has had NON STOP engine / transmission issues since day one of taking it home It's been in their shop 7 times now since March 2023! absurd! and its still having a rough idle and it randomly turns off while driving , BUT according to their service department the truck is fine. Well... it was originally a 5 star review. Until we received the paperwork and realized that we were being charged well over the sticker price of the vehicle and what we added with warranty and gap coverage. AFTER the fact, we were told the window tinting and gps tracker that comes with all cars- is an ADDITIONAL charge on top of what the listed price is. So now where I wanted to stay with a lower payment on a car that was listed around $17k, over time I will end up paying $30k for a used car because after the "additional charges", my $9k down payment was essentially nothing. Also, 3 days after buying the car, the brakes started squeaking. But everyone will say hello and make you feel like family and make you feel taken care of. read more

Auto house was recommended by co-workers. I was a first time buyer, credit was not established too much I was able to get a car. In which I put 3500 down, the check engine light came on a month later, I took it in to have it fixed at their shop, paid another 300 n some odd dollars for the first repair. Did not fix the problem, took it back in and had another 750 dollar job done still did not fix the issue.Come to find out that the engine needed to be replaced, I paid another 3000 plus dollars for the engine because the warranty that auto house encouraged me to get at 2200 dollars would not cover ANY of the repairs because they were pre-existing conditions. As a first time buyer, this was not the experience I was looking for. The 2013 malibu was 13000 however, but if you add all the repairs above, I actually put over 9,000 dollars into it on top of the 13,000. 13,000 malibu 3500 down payment 3,000+ engine 2200 useless warranty 750 repair job 300 dollar repair job (I forgot to include the cost of the tow truck, this was about 120 every trip, there were at least 3 tow trips) I bought the car in 2022, it its now August 2024, the car spent most of the time parked and in the shop. As of June 26, 2024, I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST working with Autohouse. Over the past four months, I have experienced extensive delays and additional costs due to their handling of my vehicle repairs, despite numerous phone calls, emails, and texts. Their practices have raised significant concerns, which I have meticulously documented. Autohouse is currently refusing to release my vehicle or answer my calls, preventing me from seeking repairs elsewhere. They initially provided a quote that exceeded the warranty coverage, and only when confronted with the discrepancy and comparisons to other repair shops did they offer to match the price. I DO NOT recommend purchasing a vehicle, warranty, or repair services from them. For further evidence, look into their history of reviews and numerous issues. They have even had to close their locations in Peoria and Tucson due to their failing business practices. I am familiar with their operations and am willing to share detailed information about their vehicle acquisition and poor inspection practices with anyone interested. Autohouse has undergone significant downfall in the past six months, possibly due to new ownership. If you work for Autohouse consider looking for a new position! read more

Turns that after we paid well over $5,000 in repairs to the vehicle we were told was gone over and was in good shape, they admitted that it was never even looked at before the sale. Their statements were bogus. They just put it on the lot and made up a phony story about the inspection they never did. They admitted their mechanics at the time did not know what they were doing, and did nothing. They think that there is nothing wrong with false claims, selling junk cars as good ones and ripping off 18 year olds. I took my car into Auto House (formerly Precision Fleet) over the summer of 2019 because my AC was blowing hot air. Over the first two visits, they told me my "sun sensor" and some other part were bad and needed to be replaced, so I paid a few hundred bucks to get those fixed. Then my AC kept blowing hot air. I took my car back a third time. This time they kept my car for a couple days (and gave me a loaner vehicle, which at the time I thought was nice) and then did some repair for free and sent me on my way. I was happy at the time--except my AC crapped out again two weeks later. I wasn't about to go to Auto House a fourth time since they clearly had no idea what they were doing, and also because it was 30 minutes away from home. I was also struggling financially so I waited to fix my AC until I got a new job and a raise. Today I took my car into a different shop (Kelly Clark Auto - check them out if you want to trust your shop) who told me the parts involved in these so-called "repairs" by Auto House were MARKED junkyard parts and that they were one of two codes causing my check engine light to come on. So I called Auto House. I spoke with Craig, the service manager there. He talked back to me like I was a child the entire time, tried to give me some BS about how shops use "used parts" all the time (but couldn't explain why there were marked junkyard parts in my car), then told me that I can't complain because the last repair was free and he provided me with a loaner vehicle. Craig even hung up on me when I told him he had not resolved my issue whatsoever. Clearly, my experiences with Auto House over the summer were a waste of both time and money, and the service department there is run by an unprofessional and irresponsible person who refuses to make things right as a business (especially a small business!) should. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Auto House may reply back to this review with something snarky, as businesses sometimes do, or pay Yelp to take the review down (something I recently learned is possible), but remember that if you're an average joe making average money and wanting their average car fixed, this business WILL take advantage of you and deny it (rudely) later on. read more

Update: currently they tried along with the fraud date street capital to garnish wages, we had a court date! The girl LaCie Garcia couldn't even answer questions she is not qualified! We couldn't even have the court hearing bcus she lacked proper documentation! Scammers get too comfy! Her name is literally all over bbb i am shocked she is still there but not really since this is a family company even the attorney they have is her relative! Please do not shop here!
