Came here for a solo lunch on a cold fall day. Good choice! Street parking around the corner. Service was great- everyone said hi and bye to me. Food was great too. Loved the noodles and the broth. Great atmosphere- there's bar styled seating, tables, and chairs facing out to the street.

Came in on a non-busy time @ 5 pm and it was not busy at all. I ordered ramen and it came in like 5 minutes so fast. My only issue is that the egg and meat that weren't in the broth were a little cold so I'm docking down a point. The restaurant is pretty cute and it'd be a good spot on a dark evening.

This place is located near the Ballard Farmer's Market that happens every Sunday. There are not too many seats inside and can fill up fast. We went here around opening on a Sunday and it filled up quickly with other people shortly after. I ordered a ramen combo, that came with 3 pieces of chicken karaage and a side salad. The honey garlic karaage was very good, I liked the sweet savory flavor. I ordered the black garlic ramen, which came with a piece of chashu and soft boiled egg. I enjoyed the broth a lot and liked the chewiness of the noodles. My husband ordered the spicy tan tan ramen, which also tasted very good. It came with wider noodles and seasoned ground pork. I would highly recommend coming here.

My father in law wanted to try this spot for awhile so we had lunch. We ordered some chicken karage & edamame as an appetizer. I thought it was tasty & it was very fresh & hot. The edamame is served hot as well with a sprinkling of salt. I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and added bamboo shoots to it. It comes with bean sprouts, corn, tender bits of simmered pork, half of a seasoned egg and green onions. You also get to choose your spice level, I only ordered mild & it was plenty for me. My husband got the spicy tan tan ramen which had a nice rich & creamy broth flavored with sesame paste, My father in law got the Black Garlic Ramen salt based broth, a slice of the pork belly chashu, 1/2 of a seasoned egg, bean sprouts, green onions, fried onions & black garlic oil. Their noodle texture is soft with a slight chew. Our servers were attentive, we spilled a full cup of hot water & they were at our table with a roll of paper towels immediately. I was very appreciative of that. The restaurant is clean and cozy. I would definitely go back for their ramen, and also have a side if karage which is possible by making your meal a combo fir an up charge, you also get a house salad included in the set.

An unassuming ramen place that delivers the goods I had the black garlic ramen -- and it was delicious. It's a tiny place with an intimate but unsophisticated atmosphere. The staff is helpful and friendly. It's a good spot for Ramen, nothing fancy, but ramen done well.

Craving ramen while on our vacation in Seattle, we decided to try this recommendation from Yelp and we weren't disappointed. Ambiance was cozy - pretty small inside with only a few tables (the rest were counter / "bar" style), but we were lucky to get a seat quickly. Service was friendly. The waitress explained the different types of ramen/broth as well as which ones were most popular (FYI it is R4 - Spicy Miso Tonkotsu, R5 - Arashi Ramen, and R6 - Black Garlic Ramen). We opted for R4, two orders of R5, and R2 - Shoyu Tonkotsu. All were great! The tonkotsu broths were creamy and satisfying. The charsiu was tasty. We also started with a honey garlic chicken karaage appetizer and it was yummy! Happy we discovered this place!

This is the best ramen I've ever had, and I've been to Irvine CA. Small place and it's crowded but the service is good.

Awesome, tasty Ramen! Karaage was very good also. Authentic Japanese feel to the restaurant. Service was was very attentive. Haven't had Ramen like this since my last trip to Japan in 2019. Definitely worth a visit!

A4 Takoyaki

Takoyaki: The takoyaki was nicely crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. There was an average amount of octopus inside each takoyaki. The outside was a bit burnt, though. Miso Ramen: The miso tonkatsu broth was very rich and flavorful. The noodles had a nice, chewy texture. The pork belly was very tender. The interior is quite small, but seats were readily available when we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. We really enjoyed the counter seating by their window. The seats were quite close together, so I can imagine it feeling more crowded if there were people sitting near us.

yes, we do.

Is there gluten free and vegetation options?

For vegetarians, you can try out our Creamy Vege Ramen, or you can order our Sweet Soy Cold Ramen with no meat. As for gluten free, unfortunately, we do not have that option currently.

Which is the best one?

R4 Spicy Miso, R5 Arashi Ramen and R6 Black Garlic are our top three choices among our customers

Came here on a Sunday right when they open, and pretty much the whole FOH is fully seated already…read moreright after we were seated. When you "line up", you will take a sheet of the selection menu and pencil to write down your order so you can put in your order as soon as you are seated. The table already has water so the waiter seated us, took our "order", serve and the next time we saw them was to pay the bill. Ramen is still good as I remember it, cooked to my preference as I've noted on my order. But I have to say the noodle volume seems to have shrunk. The bowl is definitely smaller than other places as well. The soup is nice -- rich and creamy

I'm from the Bay Area and have tasted a lot of good ramen in my time, but even by that standard,…read morethis place is at least 95 percentile quality. Good noodles, good chashu, and delicious broth on their "Original" ramen (which is pretty much Tonkotsu, I think). It's lacking in nothing. I also appreciate the way they structure the menu: most toppings are optional (like egg and seaweed) in exchange for a modest base price. Yet even when you add stuff back in, the sum is still reasonable, e.g. with added seaweed and a shot of extra noodles, my bowl came out right around $20 after tax/tip. Service is quick and courteous. This place has only one problem: the wait is damn eternal. I waited 50+ minutes, and the only reason I got in that _fast_ was because I came solo and qualified for counter seating. The couple ahead of me in line waited at least 90... and this was on a Monday! But that's hardly the restaurant's fault.

Yummmy. Seems like a real family owned spot. The decor is fun and cute- had Kiki's delivery service…read moreon the television and toys smattered about, but it's still a chill vibe in there. And it gets POPPIN here. We were ravenous in the morning thank god so we got there right as it opened. Line quickly formed soon after. Bento box - star of the show, good deal and all the items were good Unagi bowl - delish but small! Black garlic ramen - still delish but I'd maybe hop elsewhere for knock out ramen

With that said, the happy hour menu is still made it worth to stop for in terms of simply the price. I came here for the happy hour and got the whiskey flight and while I'm here I also got the RONDO DELUXE BENTO . It did get super busy as I was finishing my happy hour so I think a lot of people already know about the happy hour. The whiskey flight was definitely worth it since usually your typical drink is already around 15-20 and I got a good amount of whiskey from the flight and it was 3 flight glasses. RONDO DELUXE BENTO , it just felt like the karage was not that amazing and it lacked something. I'm not sure...but maybe it's their batter cause even the other fried fish's taste just felt like it was off(not in the sense that it was unedible type) but it just lacked something that I can't put my finger on. So in terms of the taste of the food, I just felt it was pretty mediocre but the amount of food was pretty good for HH.
