First, they're a cash only joint. Second what kinda place are they really? They serve teriyuuuki, noodles, rice, burgers and breakfasts. Are they Asian Fusion? American? Breakfast diner? Or What? I called in an order of food and I still had to wait for my order when I got there. I paid for my food and the guy behind the counter didn't want to give me my change. What's up with that? The flies inside really make me want to eat there. Not. Go there if you really can't walk down the street to San Fernando road and get something from Fuddruckers, Granville or Great Grill. The guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful since I didn't know what I wanted at first. He kind of has a "what's up bro" personality, and he has cool tats. I heard about this place through a friend who had been coming here for years so I decided to try it out a few years back and fell in love with the club sandwich. It is completely satisfying, you will definitely leave on a full stomach. Fond memories of this place and an amazing breakfast burrito. I went to Burbank High School and I remember every day we would gather by Auto(old building) and designate someone to ditch for breakfast burritos, nothing better than enjoying a delicious breakfast while being educated on the arts of Drafting and mechanics. Their burritos are just as good, they aren't as busy, the only thing Corner cottage has them beat on is the salsa. Best cheeseburger I've found so far in Burbank. Delicious charbroiled flavor! They pile on lots of lettuce, onion and tomato so I usually go for the double cheeseburger to get the right balance between meat and veggies. Plus that way I'm too full to bother with fries, since I don't really care for the seasoning salt they put on them. The onion rings are pretty good, tho. They also make the best club sandwich I've found so far. Perfectly toasted bread and nicely constructed so you can eat it without half the sandwich falling into your lap. They make a delicious breakfast burrito with two eggs, cheese, and your choice of sausage, bacon, or ham. You can get extra cheese or meat for a price. (I usually get sausage AND bacon!) They don't include hash browns unless you ask for them. That's great because I prefer my breakfast burritos without all that potato filler. Do yourself a favor and get the canned soda. They have this annoying habit of filling the fountain soda cups so full that they geyser when you push the straw through the lid. The canned soda will keep your shirt clean... read more

People compare this place to Corner Cottage all the time. Corner Cottage does a great sausage breakfast burrito and an okay bacon breakfast burrito. Apollo does a BANGING bacon breakfast burrito. Like any warm-blood carnivorous human-shaped meatsack, I adore bacon. I know there's only one way to serve bacon, and that is crispy. And at Apollo, I've never had bacon so crispy in a burrito before. It's awe-inspiring. Get it with potatoes, skip the avocado (they're not using great avocados, so it just makes the whole burrito bland). If you like to call ahead for pickup, be aware that they shut their phones off on most Saturday mornings because they get so busy. If you want your fix on Saturday AM, you'll just have to wait at the counter with the rest of us plebes. They get docked one star because no, the customer service isn't great, but the transcendental experience of biting into one of their crispy bacon breakfast burritos is more than enough to make up for it. read more

Oh Apollo, you and your burgers have fed generations of hungry cable guys and strange looking people with funny eyebrows for at least 3 centuries judging from the antiquity of your signage. This place has a decent - good burger and plenty of the normal hamburger shack staples like club sandwiches, patty melts, grilled cheese, BLT, etc. The food here is good for a stop in if you're in the area and need a quick bite. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but I'm picky with my burgers. They've also got a breakfast menu, which works well enough for the price, and their breakfast burrito is alright if you're hungry. They've also got teriyaki bowls which I tried once, but it was weird and average at best. The joint ain't super clean either, but then again most grease burger dives aren't. But that also means it's cheaper. Great value. Apollo is a bit of a local treasure. It's managed to stay below the radar so it's never too busy. It's a Saturday tradition for my family. I heard the breakfast burritos were amazing here so my family and I decided to check it out. Well.. I didn't order a breakfast burrito but ordered just a simple 2 egg (over medium) and ham breakfast. To my disappointment the eggs were not over-medium more like under over-easy :( I couldn't eat them they were so under cooked. I've had a lot of breakfast burritos from a lot of different places, and I must say that this place is amazing. The size of the burrito as well as the quality of ingredients in the burrito is a SCORE for me. I also tried my gf's chicken bowl. Not like any other chicken bowl I've seen (in a good way). I've been coming here for years, and yes, just like almost everyone else, for the Breakfast Burrito! I'm probably one of the few customers that asks for Turkey instead of the usual Ham, Bacon, or Sausage. Other than that, say for lunch time I order either a Tuna Melt, tuna lover right here, or their Teriyaki Chicken Burger! Sometimes on Wheat Bread instead of the burger bun. Both Delicious. Price: not expensive at all They do close pretty early, so it sucks when I'm craving it anytime past 4pm haha.
