Came to this guy with son's computer that had a corrupted operating system after a WINDOWS 10 upgrade from 8 that came with the unit. He recovered 3 years of documents and photos, and installed a new operating system for a smoking price. I should have written this review well over a year ago, but I procrastinated in writing a review on this computer company and their technician "Jer." I had called Apogee Computer Technologies because they were local and I needed someone to come to my house to fix computer problems. Jer of Apogee Computer Tech came out to my house to fix problems. To begin with he was not happy that I could not bring computer to his shop. The tower is much to heavy for me to transport. He indicated he would be out at approximately 11 am. I called at 2 pm to make sure he was still coming. He did show up around 4pm. He picked up my computer and screen and took them to his shop. Several days later he returned, computer needed new screen which he supplied and I paid. While Jer was here he spent over 30 minutes downloading on my cell phone dates that his band was going to be playing at the Starting Gate bar in Los Alamitos. This was something that I did not want on my cell phone and was not interested in. But I did not say anything since I did not want to be impolite. Once he left I logged into my computer only to find the other problems with printer and connectivity errors were NOT fixed. When he left with my computer the confirguration was Microsoft Windows 7. Upon return with computer the configuration was Microsoft 8.0 which my secutiy system did not respond to. Upon calling Jer he mentioned he could come back out and pick up my tower take it to his shop and it would be 4 to 5 days and another $250.00 to fix the problems. These were the same problems that were to be fixed in the begining. I mentioned to him how unsatisfied I was with his business ethics... I feel that I, as a woman got taken for a ride. Next time I will not be so polite.... Do Not Use this business. read more
