My favorite thing to get here is the espresso martini because it's easily one of my top 3 in Orlando! I ordered an Aperol Spritz and my husband raved about the loaded bloody mary with shrimp and bacon which seemed like a steal for $14. The decor was very classic- I thought it was so beautiful with the semi circle bar in the middle with the open kitchen behind it. The bread was great and the butter was so creamy. The carpaccio was so delicious that my daughter ate most of it For meals, we shared a lobster roll, the steakhouse burger, and Mac and cheese. The lobster roll was good but smelled a bit fishy than what I'm used to. The burger and Mac and cheese were both outstanding. My daughter had some sort of lemon lady finger desert with a candle since it was her bday- which was light on the sugar and delicious. We also had the key lime pie which I want to say is prolly one of the best that I've had! The service was incredible- Anna was our server and she was so sweet and had great suggestions. Briarpatch doesn't take reservations for brunch, but don't worry. I truly have never seen a walk-in line move so quickly! With a line out the door, and even sometimes around the corner, I have never waited more than 20 minutes for a table. Their staff is quick and efficient. Inside, it truly feels like a diner in NYC! There is plenty of patio seating as well, so I know I will be taking advantage of that when the weather cools down here in Florida! Looking for something savory? The short rib benedict is PHENOMENAL!!! Such a creative take on a classic eggs benedict; and packed with flavor. Sweet? The raspberry & brie french toast is my favorite thing on the menu. It is thick cut brioche bread stuffed with raspberry jam & brie cheese. I usually come with a friend, we get one of each of those entrees, and split it! I can never decide!! Keep in mind that the potions are HUGE. You can easily share with a friend!

Restaurant #3 in my 2026 Magical Dining tour was this fantastic restaurant. This was my first visit…read moreto The Ravenous Pig and will not be my last. I was unable to make a reservation for this night, but walked in and was seated at the bar immediately. There are two hostess stands at this location. The first stand is at the door next to the Valet Parking stand and is for confirmed reservation seating. You are directed to walk further down the hallway towards the bar area for another separate hostess stand for walk-ins. We were seated at a nice two-top table close to the brewery room. (Note: we noticed a separate table inside the brewery which appeared to accommodate a small group and most likely requires a reservation to be seated there.) Kelly was our server and she was efficient, fun and very knowledgeable of the menu. She answered all of our questions, including explaining the ingredients of some of our selections. Our drink selections consisted of the frozen Getaway Car (vodka, sour cherry and maraschino liqueur) and the Woe Is Me martini (herb-infused Grey Goose with a pickled cherry tomato). The tomato made this martini stand out! The presentation of both drinks was memorable as was the taste of each. For our appetizers, we shared the Gatherer Salad (a zesty combination of baby greens, avocado, pickled beets, radish, goat, cheese and walnut granola with a herb vinaigrette dressing-outstanding!) and the Mushroom and Gruyère Beignets, set off by the pecorino cheese and the truffle aioli sauce. We easily could've had a second round of the beignets, but decided to go ahead and order our second course. For the second course, we shared the Pan Seared Redfish with summer vegetables, and the Steak Frites. The fish was delicate, light and the fennel broth made this dish a winner. The Steak Frites consisted of rubbed prime flat iron steak, garlic aïoli and bordelaise sauce-SO GOOD! The truffle fries were plentiful and, when combined with the sauce, resulted in a perfect accompaniment to this meal. For the final course, we shared the Black Forest Cake and the Peaches & Cream (caramelized puff pastry with peach jam, and mascarpone custard). Both desserts were the explanation points of the evening. At the end of the night, we told Kelly that we loved the combination of the "naughty and nice" pairings for this magical dining experience. (For example, the beignets and the salad, plus the redfish and the steak, allow you to both eat healthy and eat decadent.) A final shout out to the General Manager, Scott, who gave me an excellent tour of the outside beer garden (not occupied due to the rain that evening) and the major beer brewery facility next to it. TV screens are available in the garden, and would be an excellent party place for watching football this Fall. I think I have my next visit to The Ravenous Pig planned in the coming weeks. Great service and great food made this easily a 5-star evening.

They even have a brewery!! It's incredible and a testament to how good they are. I was re-reading my old review and was impressed with how they've kept up with obtaining and working with local growers and butchers. I'm sure that's been a big reason behind their continued success. Our waiter Billy was excellent. We were a group of 5 having a girl's dinner. He was great at answering all our questions and recommending certain items to us. We all chose from the magical dinning menu, what a deal! We all ordered different things and they were all excellent. The gatherer salad and the beignets were our favorites for the appetizers. For the entrees; The Red fish was so delicious, but I also tried a piece of the steak frites and that was fantastic as well. The Steak was super tender. That house made pasta linguine with shrimp was incredible as well. The black forest cake dessert was really good. I like that it wasn't too sweet. I love that they continuously update their menu in accordance to what is seasonal. The only critique I have is that when we first arrived, they had trouble finding our reservation. I had to pull up the email confirmation (Which I did confirm) A confirmation that they had actually sent me the previous day. The hostess lady seemed annoyed and asked us to sit and wait while they got a table ready. We waited around 15 minutes. No big deal, but a little nerve wracking when she said: "I don't see your name here." It's a good thing I kept that email confirmation. I'm actually really looking forward to coming back and trying other things from their menu, as well as their house-brewed beer.

Nothing to truly brag home about. Nonetheless, despite it being just okay, I'd visit this restaurant again. For Magical Dining, I started with the Caesar Salad, which was baby gem lettuce with sourdough croutons, Caesar dressing, parmesan crisps, and a grilled lemon. The salad itself was okay. I've definitely had nicer Caesar salads, but overall, it did the job. I followed it up with the Butcher's Cut at medium-well (this probably the highlight of my Magical Dining experience), and then capped my dining experience with the Southern Orchard Crunch, which included caramelized peaches, graham cracker mousse, chantilly cream, pralines, vanilla wafer crumble, and mini marshmallows. Sadly, I did not like the Southern Orchard Crunch at all. I wish I had ordered the Vanilla Orange Crème Brûlée. I paired my meal with one of their cocktail staples: The Hibiscus Martini. Their Hibiscus Martini included the following ingredients: Cathead honeysuckle vodka, hibiscus St. Germain, Munyons Pawpaw Florida liqueur, hibiscus syrup, lemon, and was topped with a citrus cloud. It was a lovely, light, and refreshing cocktail. All in all, I was not super impressed with any one thing on their menu. The highlight was definitely the Butcher's Cut and the Hibiscus Martini if I had to choose. Otherwise, I'd be curious to dine outside of their Magical Dining menu. As I mentioned, I'd still visit again, and I would try more of their menu that was not featured on their Magical Dining menu (which is under the $40.00 menu option). As for general stuff, the staff was kind and very attentive. The bartender was amazing! Parking in Winter Park is always a chore to me - especially with all the construction zones on Park Ave. There is ample seating indoors as well as seating outdoors for Boca. She made sure our long table was never overloaded with unnecessary clutter. Her knowledge and guidance were precise and valuable. Not everyone in our party went with the MD menu. A downside was late pizza delivery for those who ordered it. The rest of us were well into our meals by the time pizzas finally arrived. Apologies and updates were provided, though. Another fail was the MD meatball appetizer (Albondigas). Disappointment rolled into a ball. Bland, dry meat. Nuts and sauce provided only mediocre flavor. First bite of Pork Pappardelle was a bit salty, but more savory balanced as I continued on. Finished the entire dish. Sticky Toffee Cake was warm, spongey goodness. We also enjoyed the food cooked to order and the comfortable seating area. To start, our appetizer of soft pretzels and beer cheese arrived and was quickly shared (devoured - I was fortunate to get a picture). The warm, cheese-covers pretzels were solid, and a good choice to carry us through until our main courses arrived. I ordered the Build Your Own Burger, medium, complete with a write-on menu to check off my choices. Sweet potato fries asked me to try them out along with the Bison burger, which I had never eaten. My Bison burger with minimal extras and the Bourbon glaze looked appetizing, and the flavor of the burger held its own. Plenty of sweet potato fries joined the burger on the plate, and I enjoyed their slightly firm exterior with the soft, sweet interior. Even the leftovers tasted good two days later. I ordered and enjoyed The Soldiers Lemonade, but wished I had started drinking it sooner than later due to the crushed ice. The warm night quickly melted it.
