This place is great just get here early or you will have a wait but my first time here no problems with the wait or staff seated as soon as I walked in. This is a chain and the food is amazing! The eggs Benedict and omelets are always cooked to perfection and they have this aioli and avocado burger that was amazing - I tend to think it's hard to make a burger that is REALLY bad or REALLY good, but they exceeded expectations. The only problem here is that there is always a wait and the place always looks dirty on the weekends because they are so slammed. This has never kept me from coming and I enjoy the brunch, bloody Mary's, and chocolate coffee mixtures. So if you go here be sure to check in on waitlist before you head up there and be prepared to wait at least 30 mins.. but hey it's just that good! read more

We've been here several times and of course it was good! After much thought we realized that this was the First Broken Egg we had been too a couple of years ago. This is the reason we hit up Broken Egg in other cities including back home in Houston. Ya can't go wrong with anything you order, but if you must have that unforgettable breakfast at this joint, or any other Broken Egg........order the Shrimp and Grits! Yet on today I had the Supreme Omelette. Filled with sausage, bacon, onions, and mushrooms topped with cheddar jack cheese. My youngest son had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. We signed up for the online waitlist using yelp at 10:15. I never got a confirmation text so I called and spoke to Melissa who said that she couldn't see our place in line and we'd be able to see it once we checked in. We got here with in the 35-55 min window and we're checked in (11:50). We weren't seated until 12:08. The restaurant is extremely cramped and there are people piled up on top of each other everywhere. Our table was so close to another party that we had to move our chairs and stand so that they could get out from their table. The food is good, but the check in system is seriously flawed, the building is humid, there's no space to move without touching any one, and honestly the whole experience is over rated. I've had a check in issue every time I've come- waitlist or not. Don't waste your time dining in- get it to go. read more

A good brunch place to visit. During the weekends be prepared to wait up to 45 mins but you won't hardly mind because Renaissance is a good place to walk around until your table is ready. They'll text you when you're next for a table so you'll have plenty time to book it back if you've walked to Barnes and noble or the Apple Store or even just window shopping. The food is always fresh, the drinks are really good and the brewed coffee is the elixir of the gods! The waitstaff is personable and pleasant. Oh and they have beignets! Every time I go in (either by myself or with my dad) the service is always amazing. I haven't tried everything on the menu just yet but I plan to some day or another. Dikota was really awesome when she took care of my order one day. Everyone else including the waiters/waitresses, hostesses, managers, busboys are always friendly. Saw a picture of the Crab Cake Benedict while searching Yelp for breakfast options this morning. Arrived at The hostess booth ready to wait since there were a few people standing near the door. I was able to sit at the bar where the bartender treated me with a warm smile asking how my morning was and offered a menu. I quickly found the Benedict that I came for. But it was surrounded by so many other delicious sounding options. Which made me instantly want to come back before even tasting my food. Once I got my food it was everything I expected after gazing at the Yelp picture for a portion of the morning. Perfectly cooked poached egg on top of a crispy crab cake. The hollandaise sauce was flavorful but did not over power the crab cake at all. I will for sure be back to taste more of the menu before my time in Mississippi is over. read more

Came in for take out because brunch in the weekend is WAY overcrowded. The grits are good and the eggs are just ok, when you have egg in your name, I expect a perfect egg. Maybe they dried some because we didn't eat right away but the eggs were a tad dry. They have a bar area which might be the spot if you are a party of two but a 40 minute wait in some breakfast is just too long for me. I guess for them, it's a good problem to have. read more

When my husband picked it up, it had been sitting there since shortly after the restaurant opened--they didn't take the time to look at the pickup time. Visiting Jackson from LA for JSU Homecoming and my daughter wanted to take me here for breakfast and spoke highly of this place. Not what I expected, 1. Waited 2 hours to be seated (6) people. But was told it was 45 min wait. 2. Finally seated after 2hours very thirsty ask for water, glasses come out dirty with finger prints all over the rim of the glass. 3. Order mimosa's and the glasses came out dirty. 4. Order the breakfast and the food comes out cold to as it was never cooked and or warmed. We were sending food back left and right of the round table. Ask to speak with a manager and he says he will see what he can do. (Blue shirt). A new manager comes over (red shirt) and ask us at the table what was the problem and after told he gave us 40% off of are bill. Thank you and gratefully appreciated! Food is decent. Service is decent. It's average. I wish they had bottomless mimosas, but everything else is pretty good.

We had a wonderful breakfast for our first time here. They gave us a Mason jar with information on the restaurant when we sat down. The server brought us warm biscuit beignets covered in powder sugar and honey for dipping (they were amazing!) Our breakfast was very good and the waiter we had was wonderful. All the help was very nice and pleasant, made us feel very special for our first trip to Mississippi. We did not partake in any of the really amazing mixed drinks we saw on the menu, but I'm sure they were good. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a different take on breakfast. read more

We stopped in on our way down the Natchez Trace from Nashville. We had a great experience with both staff and the restaurant. We had great service, the food was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean and organized. We both had omelettes and they exceeded our expectations especially given this is a chain. My faves are the savory grits and the many different eggs Benedict. We've been back many times since writing that review. After doing a call ahead for large party on a Saturday, 10/30/2021 we knew it would be a long wait and we were ok with that. But, after going over an hour past the longest part of the wait time we were still being told that the table we were to have still had the party still sitting. And they could do nothing about it. (That is a horrible excuse but whatever). But to make it worse the young girl the hostess was RUDE RUDE let me repeat R-U-D-E. If she was not so rude we would not have left. And she was RUDE TO EVERYONE not just our party. We were really looking forward to having brunch here but Panera across the way was so much better! Panera's food was excellent and the staff were so so MUCH better and really friendly!! So, I recommend go across to Panera and enjoy a nice meal with friendly service. Btw our party was not the only ones who left and went to Panera. It's a shame Another Broken Egg was such a let down. I wish I didn't even have to give this place 1 star. read more

Presentation was good but 3 of our dishes were actually iced cold as if it had sat for while. The beignets never made it to the table. Waitstaff was not accommodating and brought it back from the microwave reheated!! This restaurant has always been one of my faves but this experience was terrible. This place is delicious! I got the crabcakes cavallos with the country potatoes, and the eggs are poached perfectly, so much so, that they almost look like whip cream on top of the crabcakes. It's is a little pricey, but when you are getting steak, salmon, and crabcakes for breakfast you have to expect the price tag. The atmosphere is quaint and they are open from 7-2. They also serve alcohol in the mornings, so drink up! I will definitely be back, but only to treat myself because it's expensive. Overall great place with excellent food! read more
