Best boba around! And the people are super nice. They also have onigiri and/or musubi which are perfect snackies. I love this place.

Boba, waffle with passion fruit syrup, matcha frappe and eggrolls

I'm in love! They were so kind and sweet. They allowed me to ask question and gave me great recommendations. Plus, it being my first time here they let me try boba and it was so good. It's small but they have a great space and it's quiet; really good place for reading. You and sit at the bar by the window. Overall 10/10 place stop by!

We walked in…read morearound 9am on a Sunday morning and, after confirming they had pork-alternatives on the menu, waited to be seated. The place was not crowded but was doing a decent business and we only waited about a minute before being escorted to our table. The space is slightly cramped, as you have to walk single file down the aisles, especially if there are customers at the tables. Regardless, the decor is nicely done with cool copper looking A/C ductwork exposed among the black painted rafters and beams in the ceiling. I was immediately arrested by the Apple Fritter French Toast, French toast style fritters with fried apples, rum butter sauce, blueberries and powdered sugar! Both the description and the pictures on the menu were mouth-watering! But I was also torn between that and the Bourbon Street Pancakes, three house-recipe cakes topped bananas, pecans, rum butter sauce drizzle and whipped cream. Yeah, I was thinking exactly what you are thinking right now! After much indecision, I opted for the French Toast, with a side of eggs and chicken sausage. My mom ordered the Pumplin Crunch Waffle, a pumpkin infused graham cracker crunch Belgian waffle, spiced pumpkin cheesecake butter, maple pumpkin syrup and powdered sugar. I also opted to try one of their Cranberry Pomegranate Fizz Mocktail, which was iced tea, cranberry and pomegranate syrups, lime and ginger beer, with rosemary and orange peel! We were taking no calories prisoner today! After a short wait, my mocktail was brought out. It was just okay. First, the glass was completely full of ice so there was barely any drink. The syrups were a little too sweet and the ginger beer was not very prominent. As I was tasting it, our server came back to inform me that they were out of apples for my French Toast. Maybe its just me, but 9am seems kind of early to be running out of ingredients for your featured dish at a breakfast/brunch restaurant... Anyway, that dilemna settled, I reverted to my other choice and got the Bourbon Pancakes. I also asked the server to remake my mocktail with less ice, which he obliged very quickly. Our food arrived shortly thereafter and the pancakes were really good! Just the right amount of flavor and syrup. My mom's belgian waffle was also pretty good, although she wished it had been larger. The eggs and sausage were decent, but not especially memorable. Overall, it was a really enjoyable first meal back in Jackson. I would not hesitate to come again!

Visiting relatives in Jackson, they recommended Broad Street for takeout lunch so I treated and…read morepicked up the order. This review is strictly based on my Shrimp Po-Boy which had the worst fried shrimp I've ever experienced. It was cooked beyond belief and felt like chewing rubber. Breading was probably tasty had the order been properly cooked but could not tell. I had my wife taste a piece, she confirmed my opinion. Bread was buttered and grilled but did not have the feel of a real po-boy bun as if it were on the old side which is strange as the place is a bakery. I don't know what dressing was used, tasted like plain mayo. This is a strong do-not-ever-order recommendation. Fries were good, probably cut fresh. If I ate in, the order would be sent back to the kitchen. My replacement would likely have been better but QC on the takeout was lacking. I understand it's a popular spot in Jackson and was certainly full when I picked up the order. My meal, sadly, was quite forgettable. Other meals that were part of the order seemed OK but, in my eyes, uninspired. Edit: Heard from the manager with with an apology and offer to make up for the issue to my local relatives since I'm only a visitor to the area. I'm convinced that this was a one-off issue and greatly appreciate the manager reaching out. I'll give them another try on my next visit and will update things accordingly.

The waitress misunderstood and brought out three complete plates. These are not cheap items, so it was a significant mix-up on their end. When I politely pointed out the error and asked if they could adjust the bill by removing the extra orders, the operational manager was brought over. Instead of trying to make it right, he knelt down to speak to me in a very condescending tone, explained restaurant policy, and only offered a 25% discount. He refused to compromise or remove any of the mistaken items, even though the kitchen error created the waste. I felt like I was being talked down to and treated like a child, which led me to ask if this was how they handled similar situations with adults. He immediately accused me of being insulting and emphasized his position. At that point, I chose not to escalate further to avoid causing a scene. I paid the bill (thankfully a friend helped cover it), but the whole interaction left a bad taste. The food itself looked fine from what I saw, but the combination of the order mistake and the dismissive, ego-driven response from management made the visit really frustrating. It felt like they were more interested in protecting policy than taking care of a customer after their own error. I understand mistakes happen in busy restaurants, and not everything can be fully comped once plated. However, a more empathetic and professional approach from the manager would have gone a long way. I'll think twice before returning.

Everyone was so friendly, the menu had a wonderful variety and our selections did not disappoint. My taco salad was made with fresh veggies, delicious seasoned beef and yummy guacamole! I…read morewas hungry, so I checked to see what was around me and not too far next-door was a restaurant that I probably never would have went into just by looking over but I promise you it was worth it. When first going inside there is what looks to be like a small general store and the opening to a bar right behind it with people sitting having drinks and talking but more of a country cabin feel bar to it. I kind of felt out of place but went in anyway and asked if they were still serving. They said sure come on in and order at the register with the menu and then just have a seat in the room next-door, which had tables and chairs felt like picnic table and chairs, or you could sit on a chair near the bar which I did because it seemed kind of cold with the air condition blowing in the dining room area. I was skeptical as if it was a local joint because people kept looking over at me but I'm glad I didn't run. I ordered a 9 ounce ribeye and it was one of the best steaks. I think I have ever tasted outside of the near the Grand Canyon in Arizona. It was so juicy and flavorful. I wish it was closer to my house. It would be a weekly meal. I believe the price was like $29 and you had, two side items. I started out with a Louisiana style gumbo, which was very good and tasty but the star of this show with the steak. While eating the cook came out over to my table and asked how everything was and with my mouth full of tender juicy steak, I could just shake my head and she would just laugh. The steak was so perfectly seasoned and had so much flavor with the perfectly cooked pink center . I normally prefer fillet mignon because there is not much fat and I don't care for fat, but I caught myself not only I say sucking on the little fat pieces but actually eating some of it if it had a little meat on it. As my sides, I picked green beans and Black Eyed Peas and it came with a cornbread muffin which I carried with me and ate in the car on the way home. The cornbread muffin was sweet and cake like so I'm glad I didn't get dessert because this was just nice. Yes yes yes a nice steak, and it brought all the Texan out in me. I hope I can find this restaurant again on my travel back to my mom's from Georgia.
