This is the best coffee place and workspace. I was here just a few days ago. On that day, the coffee was so good that I got another cup. This time, I added the chocolate chip cookie and went searching through the many rooms to work. This place is so adorable, and the staff is so friendly. The rooms are large and colorful with beautiful pictures and abstract art. The patio is very pretty, with huge orange umbrella that protects you from the sun. I can sit here for hours working on everything and anything!
Very cute cafe that was easy to find. If I had more time, this would have been a great place to get work done. I ordered a hot matcha latte with oat milk. The latte was on the sweeter side, but it was a solid matcha all things considered. Service was quick and staff were generally friendly.
The Bean is one of those places you love to visit on a Saturday morning. It's rare I get to stop by during the week but I'm glad I did. It's not as crowded and has a more relaxed vibe but still same great coffee and food. Ordered the breakfast bowl with potatoes, scrambled eggs and Country Pleasin Sausage. Got a chai latte to go along with it. Service was great and food was even better.
The Bean Jackson is a coffee shop, yes. But to call it just that feels like calling your favorite song "just a few notes." I first walked through its doors in my college years, unsure of most things except that I wanted a job with my friends & good coffee. I found both. And so so much more. I get the privilege of leading story time -- a (sometimes) quiet ritual that taught me the power of shared imagination and little voices asking big questions. I laughed behind the counter, made lifelong friends, and felt what it meant to be part of something quite beautiful. Years later, and I'm still going back. I sit at a table and feel time stretch in the way it only can in places that have held versions of yourself you've long since overgrown -- and somehow still welcome you. The Bean Jackson isn't just where you come to drink coffee. It's where you come to feel known. I give The Bean Jackson, Five stars.
Nice little coffee shop with an assortment of breakfast items to get your day started and/or set up a work station.
Very cute, clean and although it may look small on the outside it's very spacious on the inside with many rooms to study, have meetings or do work. I enjoyed my breakfast on their patio. Very cute btw. The young lady was kind and patient with taking my order. She helped me pick a drink. I ordered a hibiscus matcha, something Ive never tried before and let me tell you that was SO good!! Their hot breakfast was all I needed. It had eggs, bacon, toast, and grits, my favorite goto! I will definitely be back!
I wanted to give this place a higher review but I think the hardest thing was the signs not being right. AND THEY KNOW ABOUT IT. I can around 5:30 after driving 30 minutes to sit and relax with my journal and a drink, but once I found my cozy spot they told me they were closing. After saying that online and other signs say 7 they said that they knew and it's been like that for a while. I just wish they could change the signage to reflect this. Coffee was okay. The flavor is good but it was $6 for a small. Not worth it for to go. I was paying for the environment to find out I couldn't stay. Would've hit a Dunkin if I knew this was the case
my coworker and i got take out for breakfast and oh my! when i say this is the best avocado toast ive ever had i am not lying. so much avocado but in a good way. the egg was perfect and the seasoning topped it off perfectly. the cream cheese was a great touch. we got our food fast! will def come back for brunch and some studying. try!!!!

We have never had a bad experience here. We love the old house feel. The staff is so friendly and efficient. The coffee is fresh and delicious. Every food item we have had is amazing. Quaity ingredients, made to order. I usually get the breakfast bowl but decided on the breakfast wrap today with bacon as my meat choice. Sooooo good! Not sure if they still do pancakes occasionally but when we have had them, they are spectacular. It's also a great place to enjoy a bite/some coffee while studying! read more

The Bean is a cute coffee shop in Jackson! They have an exception Iced Chai Tea Latte, that you should try. Very vibrant colorful vibrant. Great place to get and little work done or chill in my opinion. In Addition, street parking is available in the area. The staff was also very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Definitely would visit again. read more
This is a fun spot for breakfast in Fondren. There is plenty of seating indoor and out making it the perfect spot to meet friends without feeling rushed. The coffee is excellent, there is a full bar and a variety of menu options. We all opted for the blueberry French toast. It was really blueberry bread pudding but delicious all the same. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is inviting. We'll be back! read more

Took my aunt here after her cataract surgery. What a delightful place. The staff was super friendly. The hot London Fog was really good and my aunt loved her iced chai. She had the breakfast bowl with sausage and I had the salad. I didn't get a pic of hers but it looked really yummy and she said it was delish. My salad was so fresh and crisp and looked so pretty. I mixed some of their homemade ranch and balsamic. They croutons were homemade. We will be back! read more

I seriously don't understand why huge coffee chain that shall not be named is popular; the coffee is bitter and dressed up with funfetti, cutesy names and lots of sugar. THIS place has the complete opposite: great-tasting, smooth coffee, cool atmosphere drenched in natural sunlight, food that's made to order, and for this dessert aficionado, desserts that are made in house. I'm pretty much addicted to their RED VELVET latte...I've also other items on previous visits: yogurt bowl, blueberry scone, and breakfast sandwich (egg, bacon, Gouda on sourdough). I've been eyeing their desserts and will definitely return. I'm sure my waistline will cry as my tastebuds dance. read more

Stopped by to get some work done and finally check out the newly renovated Bean. I loved it! It still has the cozy feel with a touch of modern. More seats to choose from (inside & out). Beautifully decorated. I just tried a plain ole white mocha & caramel latte. It was okay. I'll have to come back for the breakfast though, from the other reviews it seems to be bomb. read more

Really cute/hip shop for breakfast, brunch, and lunch - I've been there for all three! Order the blueberry pancakes when they have them on the special menu (board) at the counter and thank me later. They had a solo band playing during my weekend visit and it was crowded with college students cramming for finals (including myself :)). read more

I frequent here often, great local ambiance & coffee. As a FT student, employee, and parent...I come here often to focus and get what I need done. The back room is a great spot to meet with friends who have littles, to grab a cup of Joe & have a playdate. read more

Thanks so much for your kind words!
Loooove the newly renovated "Bean." Still very homey, but a-lot more welcoming. Each room had vibrant wall art & the decor was so cute. Came here to study but ended up trying some items from the menu. For "breakfast" and to get my brain juices flowing I ordered an iced caramel latte with oat milk; very simple but it didn't taste watered down or too strong. It was just right for someone like me who is not a real coffee drinker. After several hours of studying and a few rumbles of my hungry stomach, I ordered a Grown up Grilled Cheese sandwich which came with house chips. It's dressed with bacon, tomato, queso fresco, cheddar cheese, and pepper jelly. LET ME TELL YOU, for a plain ole sandwich, it was so good! The pepper jelly really brought it all together. And it was filling, yet light enough to get back to work. I also appreciated how the music was not obnoxiously loud like some coffee shops can be, as well as the song selections being appropriate enough for the vibes lol. It was cool to find out how they now serve mimosas (on the weekend) & beer also. Not your typical coffee shop, ha. Worth visiting. read more

$15 bottomless on a Sunday is an iconic for a post night out debrief. Vibes were there, aesthetic was there, and food was on 10. I would do this every Sunday if it didn't cause liver cirrhosis. read more
