Fusion Coffeehouse is a Jazz themed cafe house that has live performances from time to time. There are pictures of musicians on the walls. The specialty drinks are named in honor of musicians as well. Matcha isn't listed on the menu (unless I just missed it), but they do have it and I love that it's not pre-sweetened like a lot of the coffee shops are doing. In addition to coffee and tea they have frappes, smoothies, seasonal drinks, breakfast/lunch sandwiches, oatmeal, etc. Ambiance - It's a lot of natural light. Good place to grab a drink while you study or work. I didn't pick up the jazz theme initially (just aesthetically/vibe), but thought it was pretty cool once I did. read more

The setup and cleanliness and design inside was wonderful. The seating options were great all around and even on the outside too. The servers were awesome and so nice. They were constantly working too for helping serve all things that were ordered by all the people inside. The coffee was great and the breakfast sandwich I ordered that was made was super yummy. I hate to be the bad review and maybe it was an off day, but I got a salted caramel cold brew and it tastes like a watery syrup rather than coffee. Maybe they were thrown off by the request because it wasn't necessarily a menu item. The shop itself is really nice. Very friendly. Of course you've read about the Mac station they have. Always a plus when you throw in Apple. May try again and stick to a menu item. Hope you guys find a new nitro cold brew supplier! read more

Hands down, my favorite coffee shop in the Jackson area. There are many good ones but this one is unique, has a good vibe, the employees are the sweetest, and the drinks are amazing. "Frankie's Favorite" is my go-to, and everyone that I've recommended it to has loved it too. Fusion has several dairy free milk options as well. I used to go here to study/work on my laptop a lot and it's a great spot for that! I think the jazzy background music makes it even better. read more

I love that they open on Sundays! When I want a good hot latte on a Sunday morning, this is where I go. You can request it in a mug, they also have free Internet and computers for you to use. The negative is they don't have a big selection on sweets to pair with your coffee. Also they don't do latte art =( read more

I have dreamed of a coffee shop that has computers for use! My dad suggested this place to me as a "good place to study" but did NOT mention the fact that they have Mac desktops available for use! Of course the computers are for paying customers only as they should be, in my opinion. Even though the computers are there, mostly everyone brings their own laptop--and I did too the first time but just the fact that you can pop in here and do some work when you don't have your own laptop--or if you're like me, and don't want to lug it around everywhere, OR more precisely, you enjoy the ginormous Mac screen--this is soooo your go-to place. As for coffee, I'm pretty simple with my orders so no issues there. For those of you saying the options are limited, just talk to the barista :) I asked about their teas and they had a whole separate menu for that..and they don't incrementally charge for different hot tea sizes--like some places do (ugh! it's hot water and a tea bag people!!) I also like their streamlined and simple menu but don't for a second think they don't have/can't make your drink of choice! They also have gelato and old school cokes. The place is always clean, has tables and cushioned seats, as well as some outdoor seating, and the baristas are very friendly! I really commend Fusion for splurging on those computers. It really has set them apart from the other coffee shops, local and chain, in the area. I'm gonna be sad if this place becomes overcrowded now that I've bragged on all the perks they offer--oh well, they deserve it! read more

Such a nice jazzy place to grab coffee and fiddle around on your computer. They have a computer hub area with macs! The baristas are cool and quirky and of course very friendly. Nice contemporary setting in the heart of a shopping area. My favorite drink here is their Pink Panther which is a white mocha and raspberry. I got it with dark mocha instead but both ways are delicious. Iced or hot it's great. They also have seasonal drink options! Haven't been here in a long time. I use to come here for the strawberry banana smoothies. They are awesome. Today I tried the Duke Mocha over Ice. It's very good. Will definitely start coming back. This was a surprising and welcomed find. They serve coffee roasted both in Canton and NOLA, but unfortunately they also serve flavored coffee and do not offer a dark roast (they promote making an Americano as the equivalent). As such, I steered clear of drip coffee, which is served from pump pots. I got a regular latte (whole milk, for which the barista applauded me) in a mug and sat down in front of one of their four free iMacs. This part, combined with the calm jazz and generally serene environment, made me a huge fan. It's like the Apple store, except without the subtle pressure to buy something, plus there are chairs. read more

Fusion is one of the better coffee shops in the area. It's right down the road from Renaissance, so I highly recommend Fusion over Starbucks any day! They have a small selection of house drinks along with all the usual coffee shop drinks. One food that makes Fusion unique is their gelato which is absolutely delicious! Really the only bad thing I have to say about their drinks is that they're way too sweet for my taste. But that can easily be fixed! The interior is tiny, but is a nice quiet place to get some work done. Definitely give Fusion a try if you haven't already! read more

This coffee house is first rate. Generally I would rate it with a five star but the hours of operation are skinny. Close at 6 PM? Many coffee houses in the Jackson area close at 9 PM. People sometimes like an evening coffee but closing at 6 eliminates that option. And this coffeehouse is not open on Sunday! I respect religious concerns but why not open at noon? Excellent Service!! The people that work here are the nicest people. The coffee is amazing and the food is wonderful. Today they saved me because I needed coffee. I am the only one in my office and I work almost above them and they were nice enough to bring it to me. Amazing coffee, Amazing food, Amazing service!!!! Oh and my husband missed the Nitro coffee he had in Seattle until them. Oh yeah and I looked at their website to learn how much went out and stayed in on local business. So glad I prefer local!!!! I had a pretty good experience here. I've been twice now and have only had cold brew and mint tea. The teabags are nice- not just basic. It's small and pretty quiet. A big plus is that they have Mac computers available for those who need them. They also sell sandwiches and pastries that are better offerings than the other local coffee chain that shall remain unnamed. If I were alone and wanted to focus on something, or even with just one other person for a quiet convo I'd come here. But if you want a livelier crowd and good people watching, this isn't your spot. The coffee is decent, but they "specialize" in syrupy drinks. The atmosphere is nice, steering safely away from the cliches that characterize many suburban establishments. This place stresses their wifi access, going so far as to provide computers for those without, so that's a nice touch. Wonderful live Christmas jazz last Sunday. Events are held monthly. Groupon brought me here but the atmosphere and drinks keep me coming back. Nice and comfortable couches to do lesiure reading as they do provide some magazine and papers. Also the couch arrangment is great for enjoying drinks and having close conservation with friends. There are also tables for those looking to study individually or in groups. There are three desktop macs for community use.
