On August 29, 2025, around 2:40 PM, I visited this Menchie's with my 4-year-old. After he had already served his cup with toppings, I was told at the register that they were not accepting cards. While I understand technical issues can happen, there was no sign posted to notify customers before serving themselves. When I pointed this out, the cashier replied that it had "just happened 30 seconds ago." I then attempted to hand the cup back for disposal. Instead of taking it, the employee said, "I can see you holding the cup up, you can set it down," while slapping the counter repeatedly and gesturing at me to put it there. His tone and behavior were extremely rude and dismissive. This individual appeared to be a manager or supervisor, not a teenager in training--which makes the lack of professionalism even more concerning. Speaking to customers this way, especially in front of children, is unacceptable. read more

WAY OVER PRICED! Just the yogurt itself, with no toppings, is ridiculously over priced. It seems like one could get a smoothie, infused with extra health benefits, for half the price. The yogurt did not taste very good either. It seems like the only people that act like they enjoy this place are young, non working girls that have no idea about the value of a dollar. Frozen yogurt is good but we couldn't get anyone to check us out for a while. Had to go into the back of the kitchen.

I went to Menchie's tonight and it was a tall skinny girl that was more into her phone than greeting me. When I came in around 8:30 she started turning the yogurt signs around which indicated that they were not available anymore... and only left the vanilla snow untouched . She didn't have appropriate clothes on really short short's and had a rude attitude when we got ready to pay . Based of the actions from tonight, I will not be coming back!!! read more

I went to Menchies to redeem a $5 credit I got on my rewards account for my birthday. When I got to the store there was a note on the door that the credit card machine was down. What I didn't know was that also included the rewards program. I went ahead and purchased with cash and asked for a receipt so that I could still get credit for my purchase. The clerk informed me that they don't give receipts for cash purchases. Businesses should give receipts for ALL purchases no matter what the method of payment, if requested. Don't go to the Ridgeland Menchie's, stick with Madison or Flowood. read more

Their treats are SO GOOD! Just hate the shop is not in a better location so you kind of need to be looking for it if you want to visit. The way I found it was their cute logo! How many people have a purple logo? Yes you might say that little Menchie guy stands out but he's so cute! I know what you're thinking. Not ANOTHER ice cream shop. Well you're exactly right, it's not. Yes it's ice and yes it's creamy but no THIS IS NOT ICE CREAM! Have you ever had a gelato? Then you already know what you're getting. What I love, and what's different about Menchie vs a gelato is all their unique flavors! Yes they do let you have a small sample to try it before you buy it. How much is it? One of favorite spots for frozen yogurt. The toppings are always presented in a neat and organized way which seems simple- but trust me this is sometimes an effort on many fro-yo spots. They constantly monitor the serving station which is appreciated. I have not once walked in and noticed 'messy' station and yogurt area. The fruit is always fresh- again plus. I've seen so many pop up chain frozen yogurt shops- but this one I must give many compliments. They keep it family friendly and it is is always a pleasant experience whenever I visits. read more

We've been going to Menchie's since it opened and have always had great experiences. They have a good selection of frozen yogurt with yummy flavors that rotate regularly. Large selection of toppings and friendly customer service always top off our great experiences here. read more

They have some great flavors and toppings here. I know that the DIY frozen yogurt places are a dime a dozen now, but this is one of the better chains we have. They have some loyalty card that seems to be pretty good as well. I like their location. They are good to stop at before/after a movie, going to PetCo, etc. read more

Their pomegranate blueberry sorbet is wonderfully tart and their watermelon sorbet is "just right" according to my daughter. It's been very clean (spotless actually) each time I've gone there and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. read more

Ive been living here about 3 weeks, and yes it took me that long to find it. Love the location, its in a great part of town, not to mention so convenient! The selection of flavors and toppings was satisfactory. The staff was super nice and helpful. Compared to New Orleans, the prices were great! There aren't many of these "do it yourself" frozen yogurt places around here, which is really good for this store. Great job. I will be going there often! read more
