When I pointed this out, the cashier replied that it had "just happened 30 seconds ago." I then attempted to hand the cup back for disposal. Instead of taking it, the employee said, "I can see you holding the cup up, you can set it down," while slapping the counter repeatedly and gesturing at me to put it there. His tone and behavior were extremely rude and dismissive. This individual appeared to be a manager or supervisor, not a teenager in training--which makes the lack of professionalism even more concerning. Speaking to customers this way, especially in front of children, is unacceptable.
