Good selection of books of all genres including a kids section. Everything is labeled for easy access. One of the employees helped me find the fiction section. Ended up with two books. One that was on my list and another. Spent $55 and they even give you free bookmarks.

When I entered a sweet older gentleman approached us and said "Everytime you visit with your child, you get a free book." How awesome is that? I got her first Easter book that day. They have a variety of used books, and also new books, it was all so very affordable. I got 24 books for $23 (one we got for free). They even had the cutest little story time and play area for your little ones. It's a small locally owned bookstore, you can also donate your old books as well. Fyi: Follow their FB, they have story times and activity/craft day during the week, he also said that they have a puppy day that they'll have a dog there for the kids to pet. Also everytime you visit there's a punch card for a free book after your 7th visit. I mean how could you not want to come?!

We found this great little bookstore which felt really welcoming and cozy with a fine selection of books and two lazy cats lying in the sofa. We both found great books on our short visit in the store and also had a nice conversation with the owner about blues and the civil war. I strongly recommend a visit when you're in Vicksburg.

I'm a huge lover of bookstores like this. I love to support independently and locally owned anything... but books are one of my favorite things so I'm pretty passionate about a local and independently owned bookstore. And by pretty passionate I mean way over the top, want to hug and kiss the owners, profess my undying love passionate. This little bookstore features a carefully selected mix of local authors and regionally highlighted books. It's sleek and airy and well lit. You'll also find notecards, postcards, poetry journals and a warm welcoming vibe here. Their logo though, is what really got me. A mermaid reading a book. Hello, adorable. If you fall in love with that logo as hard as I did, there are totes and tees printed with her on them for sale here as well. Sigh. Support this wonderful little place please!

I really like this book store. It's a pretty big size and has multiple sections. Even has a kid…read moreplay area. They have a Starbucks in there (that I love) and they have several dessert options. They also have a partnership with the Cheesecake Factory so you can order a slice of several options or even a whole cheesecake. The worker informed me that it was freshly cut that morning and there was no way it was hard and stale and asked me to let her feel of it. And then wanted me to let her microwave it. No..absolutely not! I have bought MANY pieces of lemon loaf and they have always been soft and wonderful! She offered to refund me or give me a piece of cranberry loaf and left me standing there waiting while she filled another order. The cranberry loaf wasn't good either! Her attitude sucks! And to treat a customer like they are dumb when they complain nicely about SUBPAR food!

Most importantly were the couple and their assistance working the store who were very helpful and friendly.
