I really like this book store. It's a pretty big size and has multiple sections. Even has a kid play area. They have a Starbucks in there (that I love) and they have several dessert options. They also have a partnership with the Cheesecake Factory so you can order a slice of several options or even a whole cheesecake. I wish they had more comfy seating but they do have a couple tables and chairs. Can get pretty packed though. Overall, a good book store. read more

I asked the lady at the checkout counter about a particular magazine, and she was less than helpful. I felt as if I was being intrusive on her time. but there were no more customers. Barnes & Noble needs to do some in-house training on how to be polite to its customers. read more

Went inside to get a drink from the barnes and noble cafe. Cashier got order. Employee was working on drink. Asked question. Employee yells at us, I'm working on them. Cashier and customer placing order looked at employee, including us. Employee slammed down drink and pup cup and said have a nice day snapping. I have never had that experience before with Barnes and noble cafe even with said employee. read more

Bookstores are few and far between but there is nothing like going to a good book store and seeing everything. I love going to this bookstore. I never walk out empty handed and if you have a Barnes and noble card you get 10% off your purchase...add that to a 15% coupon you receive pretty much every week you can't go wrong. Barnes & Noble - Great gift idea: Journals! - Newspapers & Magazines Near Me - Ridgeland, Mississippi

Friendly staff, clean bathroom, in-house Starbucks, huge kids section, toy and collectibles sections, and the vestigial music store annex that doesn't seem to want to die (honestly, how many people actually buy discs if they don't have to anymore?). Added to all of the above, it's also located within a decent outdoor outlet mall. My only gripe at this location is the travel and foreign language sections were nonexistent. If they were there, they were hidden so well that on three walks around the store I still couldn't find them. Had I asked an employee, they might have been otherwise revealed. read more

Not a bad selection, the staff is friendly, and the store and restrooms are clean. They have a toss and games section. The kids area is cute, and they have a Cafe. There aren't too many bookstores left, so it isn't like they have a lot of on hand competition. They haven't let that be an excuse to downgrade. They are keeping it nice here. Nice place read more

Just buy your coffee at Starbucks and bring it here. The coffee shop in the store is no good. They don't know how to make the drinks. If you take it back, they'll question you. Otherwise, it's B&N. Nice place to read some magazines. read more

My most favorite place to chill any day of the week. Too bad they're not closer to me. Come on Barnes , put one in Brookhaven ms. I love the fact Barnes keeps a great stock of new age and pagan books even their tarot cards are wonderful. This will be my once a month trip when I head to the rainbow co-op. read more

They have a good selection of bakery goods. I love the cheesecake factory and we don't have one here, but they get it shipped in. The stuffed cheesy pretzels is really good too. Only thing I don't care for is their Starbucks Coffee. B&N owns this starbucks, so their starbucks isn't the same. They don't even have SB famous whip, it's canned =( read more

This is one of the nicer B&N's I've been in, the staff is friendly, the selection is sizable, etc. Otherwise, it is a typical B&N's. I don't make any special effort to come here, but I stop in from time to time. I get really bugged that their online prices can be so different than the in store prices (which I know has nothing to do with this particular store). read more

This is not a review of the whole store, but of the "Starbucks " inside. First of all its not a real Starbucks and doesn't take gift cards. There was no sign, girl was rude when she told me, and she didn't mention that there was an actual Starbucks across the street. Furthermore the service was slow, staff was rude, and location was dirty. It would be nice to at least get god service when I overpay for coffee. I am not from here otherwise I would have went across the street. Do your self a favor and do the same. read more

Good selection, but very poor customer service. They are currently refusing to honor BN gift cards (even though they are still selling them) but do not tell you until after you wait at checkout to make a purchase. Manager was asked and could not have cared less. Hope this is not indicative of what can be expected on future trips. read more

I Love this store. Although, it can be a little intimidating with all the selections. I always drive over from Vicksburg to do my "book" shopping at Barnes & Noble. I visted last Saturday and was assisted by Judy. She became my "personal shopper" and found and retrieved all the books I needed for my sons' summer reading program.
