Finally made my way to Crazy Cat Eat Up for Sunday brunch. Service was top notch, as it always is. It's always laid back inside, with a mixture of couples, families and single people dining. Ordered the chicken and biscuit, which came with "house tators". I was really torn about getting the skillet cinnamon rolls but went with a safer bet health-wise. The Angel biscuit was super soft and light. Not overly sweet with a taste of buttermilk. The chicken was fried a little hard which made it crunchy but it wasn't burnt. It tasted good and I was so glad to be able to actually taste the Tabasco in the honey drizzle. It gave the sandwich a kick that didn't require me to need jelly for the biscuit. The potatoes were very good as well. Seasoned just right and not overcooked. I could also tell that the potatoes were sautéed fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp. Enjoyed my first Sunday brunch at the Cat!

Tried for the first time today and was DELISH!!! Our waitress was so so sweet, and extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions. We did come for a late lunch and it did seem like it fills up pretty fast so I would say if you were coming for lunch come a few minutes early to get a good spot. But the vibe is super fun inside. Will come again.

My dad & I enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant! Was our first time visiting Jackson, MS for a while. The food was good and everyone was so nice!

We had really been wanting to try Crazy Cat for a while. When we walked in we immediately realized it was a lot nicer than we thought it was going to be. We were totally not expecting the dinner menu to be what it was after having looked at the yelp page and seeing the most popular items. Those items must be on the lunch menu because the dinner menu was much more upscale and I think the least expensive item we 20 dollars. We were planning on salads or a quiche. I ordered the redfish at the waitresses recommendation. A few minutes after ordering it, I was notified that they reached their limit of it for the night. So I ended up ordering the trout. It was good and had a nice flavor. I enjoyed my meal, but it definitely was nowhere what I was planning to have there. I would be interested in trying crazy cat some time for lunch, but more than likely won't be back for dinner.

I love their lunch special on Thursdays. The chicken spaghetti is awesome. The servers are great, but it does get busy every time I go.

While it's a great lunch spot it's an even better diner spot. They have great specials. Also, you can bring your own bottle of wine!

The pastry case is stacked: a wide range of sweet and savory options, all baked in-house, plus a small rotating menu of heartier plates that make it easy to do either a light bite or a full breakfast/lunch. Bonus points for the strong vegetarian lineup and frequent vegan options--my go-tos are the black bean roll and the tomato pie. The baristas are friendly, service is quick and efficient, and the space itself is incredibly comfortable. Set in an old house with thoughtful decor, it has classic coffeehouse vibes (no cold, industrial feel here), making it equally good for meeting friends or settling in to get work done. There's also plenty of outdoor seating and a great backyard. On top of all that, Urban Foxes serves a solid selection of local craft beers and hard seltzers and really leans into community--regular pop-ups, art markets, and music shows ranging from punk to hip hop. Pro tip: grab a free zine on your way in. This place does a lot, and it does it well.

So many choices - Biscuits & gravy, omlettes, low carb bowls with plenty of protein and veggies, avocado toast, breakfast burrito, etc. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong. Atmosphere - It's chill depending on when you come. Just know the weekends are super busy, so make sure you get there early. You can post inside the cafe, on the patio, or in tables throughout Banner Hall which houses Lumeria book store and some other boutique shops. Prices on food are reasonable. One slice of cheesecake is a little pricey, but it's a large slice and honestly worth it. Overall, this is my favorite place to get breakfast in Jackson!

This gem is actually an old home, converted into a beautiful destination for all things yummy. I hate that I left my phone charging in the car, and didn't capture the beauty before me. I also purchased a few cookies, including a homemade Girl Scout Tagalong cookie. Which is shortbread, spread with peanut butter and covered in chocolate. It was quite good...better than the GS version. I noticed lots of seating. I'd bet that this would be a great venue for a ladie's tea. So cute!
