Customer service was solid enough. Extremely dissapointed in everything I tried today. I got the passion fruit/dragonfruit TikTok mumbojumbo.... Nothing like expected. It broke into a million pieces immediately and the flavor was so disappointingly tame. The fruit tasted good but the entire filling was full of custard which tasted low quality and not flavorful at all. We also got a fruit tart and two different macaroons. Same thing here they look amazing quality (and the price demands excellence as well....) all of these items had little to no flavor to me. I don't get how people are eating here honestly. read more

Usually I get their flan, tres leche and fruit tart. I don't like their ice cream. Don't get their ice cream, $7 a pint, I rather get Hagen Daz . Seems like more ice than ice cream. Other than that, it is nice cafe in Jackson, something different than the norm. read more

The petit fours were disgusting. It was white sheet cake with icing. Nothing about it said petit fours. Don't waste your money.

Everything looked so delicious it was hard to just get two items. The tres leches was the best one I've ever had. I recommend getting your own slice, it's hard to share. We're definitely going back to try more desserts! read more

I was visiting your store today with my relatives. I noticed that my card was overcharged by $7.36, which would not have been that big of a problem. The problem was your employee, Lydia, was rude and condescending, refusing to give me my money back. She stated that it was the cash register's fault or it was my fault because I hit the tip button and put in that odd amount for a tip, which was not the case. This caused my entire family to check their receipts as well. We had spent approximately 75 dollars amongst all of us. My aunt noticed she was also overcharged. She went to the register and requested her overcharged amount back. Lydia quickly fixed her mistake by giving it back in cash. I asked why it was so easy for her to correct that error and I was being treated so badly. She told me she wasn't talking to me, that she was talking to my aunt, who had not requested an explanation. Lydia stated to my aunt that her being overcharge was a personal mistake but mine was an equipment error. In the end, I was given my money back, but it took us over an hour to have this resolved. Nice clean bakery. Had all kinds of sweets and treats. Empanadas as well. We were in town for July family reunion and looked up bakeries and decided to try this place. I got the cannoli and some cake pops. Delicious moist and flavorful. Fresh . Will be back next time we are in Mississippi. read more

First of all, I want to start off by saying that this bakery was recommended by so many people in my area. For a new customer like me they are so unproffesional and I will not reccomend this place to anyone. Let me start off by saying that I had high hopes of getting my customized cake from this place for my childs 1st birthday! I guess this place don't care to fulfill a simple order. I have went there in person to place a customized order and they tell me that "we will give you my boss's phone number, because she's the one that does the customize orders here. So they gave me her number and I was excited to finally have a cake done by this "amazing'' bakery. I called and no one answered. I figured she's a busy lady, right? I texted her twice in the same day and responded me that she cannot do the type of cake I wanted. Ok I understood, so I told her "Do you have any other examples or cakes you can do? So I sent her some pictures of examples I wanted, and she replied "yes! I THINK I can do something similar to what you are looking for. So I was content with the reply, and told her, "Perfect! I would want this type of cake for 30 people, and how much will something like this will cost me?". She NEVER replied back! I texted and texted her so many times and called and no answer! THIS IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL for someone who does customized cakes for a living, and for someone HIGHLY recommended by so many people, and for me, being a first customer. Worst experience ever. I think if you are a first-time customer, and this is the way you get treated of course you will not come back to this place at all. I will not RECOMMEND this place to anyone! I will take my business somewhere else. I will HIGHLY recommend CAMPBELL'S CAKES in Jackson because by just communicating by email they where able to do me my customized cake and they were able to do the style I wanted! Please do not go to this place if you are a first customer. I think she tought that I was wasting her time or not being serious with placing my order. I guess they just lost a new customer, but probably do not care because there will be many more coming. Im just the 1% to them so they are not worried! This has to be my new favorite bakery! I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile, with a very nice lady recommending the best things. It was very clean. I got the Chocolate Covered Cheesecake and it was really good! The pastry with the guava is so good, and The Dulce de Leche bites were so good! I've heard great recommendations to try the empanadas, maybe next time I'll try them, the fruit tart looked really good, I'll try it next time as well! I bought a king cake from here today, and it was so dry. It was a cinnamon with cream cheese and there was barely any filling. I've seen everyone recommend, and I am highly disappointed. You can see from the picture that it is old. It's so old, it crumbled when we cut the first slice. read more

A Nextdoor post brought me here. I walked and was greeted with a smile and a hello. Initially, I was going to buy empanadas, but I opted to go with the chicken salad sandwich instead. I was asked if I wanted the sandwich heated and was thrown off just a tad bit because I'd never had warm chicken salad, let alone a warmed chicken salad sandwich! I wasn't quite sure how it would taste. I toyed with the idea for a moment because I was a little hungry and didn't want to be disappointed but I'm always trying new ways to enjoy different foods, so I replied, "Sure, why not." I was a little concerned after I didn't hear the microwave beep because that time in the microwave had me thinking I made a mistake. So I asked how much longer and was told about a minute and a half. I became frantic - mentally - because I thought 30 seconds would be just enough. When the young lady told me it was warming in the oven, I was relieved. When it was ready, she handed me a brown paper bag and in it was the best chicken salad sandwich I'd EVER had! If I am not mistaken, the bread is Pebete - light, airy, semi-sweet, and buttery. The chicken salad was so perfect, made with handmade shredded, chunky chicken, topped with green leaf lettuce and tomato. I should have gotten two! Get off of Yelp! and go there now! read more

What a lovely little bakery! They are new and you can tell still getting the layout of the place together, but the owner is so friendly and helpful. The shelves are stocked with a nice selection of treats, my personal fave was the tres leches cake and the fruit tarts. Some of the desserts tasted a bit like old school bakery sponge cake, which isn't my fave but the dulce de leche filling made it taste better. They also have fresh warm empanadas and drinks like hot chocolate, coffee. No seating at the moment, great to get some to go and eat in the park :) read more

Stopped in out of curiosity and was wowed! I tried a sample of sweets and savories and everything was fresh and delicious!! I have been a second time to try more and find consistently great bakery items! I have tried: flan, a thin sandwich, spanakopita, a unique corn cake (awesome), filled phyllo pastries, Brazilian pastry specialties I can't pronounce and found to be wonderful!!! So I ordered my birthday cake which supposed to been a tres leche cake. The cake was $58.00 and was not good at all. I specifically told them I wanted no peaches or fruit in my cake and they still put it in my cake. The cake had no flavoring at all. It was just soaked but I didn't taste any leche. This place can't follow directions for orders and is just not appetizing. It may be good for other desserts but I wouldn't recommend tres leche. read more
