    Chicken biscuit and grits

Came back today and the grits were just as good as I remembered and the chicken biscuit sleighs all day Was in and out within 20-30 minutes. Very quick service

I have been a Primos customer for a long time. We ordered takeout tonight and I ordered the black and blue salad. Half of the salad was slimy and should have been thrown out days ago. Primos, you are slipping.

Stopped by Primos after a doctors appointment for a quick breakfast. Broke from my norm and ordered the egg scrambler with toast and hashbrowns. This Primos has the BEST buttered toast! Always! The hashbrowns, from first glance, looked overcooked but they were ok. Didn't taste burned. I didn't care for the scrambler too much. The eggs were a little too soft for me but nothing for me to complain about. I also got a piece of lemon pie to go for later. Some of the best lemon icebox pie around!

Chicken fried steak with rice and gravy and fried okra

We stopped for lunch while traveling. It was around 12:30, and the restaurant was busy, but we were able to find a seat without too much trouble. The line to order moved quickly. Much to my older son's delight, Primo serves Pepsi. My husband got the chicken fried steak. It was served with brown gravy, which we aren't used to (we expected cream gravy), but he said it was good. The fried okra he got with it was crispy and fresh. My older son got the large chicken finger basket. It came with eight huge strips, and they were hot out of the fryer! My younger son got the chicken sandwich with mac and cheese, and the sandwich didn't skimp on chicken or toppings. I took advantage of all-day breakfast and ordered the Scrambler with sausage, grits, and a biscuit. Delicious! The grits were creamy and tasted like they maybe had a slight hint of jalapeño? All I know is, mine was dang skippy good. Don't miss the bake shop side of Primo's! We grabbed cookies on the way out. The pecan crunch cookies were a perfect finish to the meal. If we're rolling on I-55 in the future, we'll go off the beaten path a bit and head to Primo's again!

After a successful purchase and a hemorrhaging from my credit card, we opted to celebrate the occasion with a meal. And Lo and behold Table 100 was just across the street from where we were. Ambiance 4 Stars - as you walk into the establishment, you are transported back where the warm wood interior, cozy white table cloth tables or booths, high end bar drinks, and classy servers in their white or black attire are waiting to serve you. There plenty of tables and booths to seat a plentiful of patrons. And if you need a little bit more private, you can request a private room depending how many are in the party. 4.5 Stars - Service: our server, Andrew was wonderful, professional and has a great sense of humor. We bantered throughout our dinner but the conversation never crossed over to make anyone uncomfortable. He was observant of our needs and when to bring our next course. Our glasses stayed full with our beverage. 4.25 Stars - Food We ordered from the dinner menu instead of lunch due to our timing at 3:00. Let's just call it "Linner". Haha. 4 Stars - Grilled Swordfish- My wife ordered the dish and came with a decent size grilled swordfish fish, sauté spinach, creamed mash potatoes, and a beurre blanc sauce (lemon, butter and dry white wine). The swordfish was thick and moist; not dry at all. The beurre blanc balanced the bland spinach and the seasoned swordfish. The creamed potatoes were creamy, buttery's and not too salty. 3.75 Stars - Pan seared Redfish with cube fried potatoes, sauté green beans, beurre blanc sauce and top w a Chilean tomato salsa. The redfish was moist and tasty but I wish it had a little bit seared on it for a crunchy factor. The cubed potatoes were good but nothing to write about. The fresh sauté green beans could have a bit more garlic butter. 3.5 Stars Side dish: Deep Fried Brussel Sprouts. Hot, steamy and fresh. Has a slight crunch on the exterior leaves and was seasoned w a sprinkle of salt. 3.75 Dessert: Crème Brûlée and coffee. The crème brûlée crust was crunchy and the vanilla egg custard was good and smooth. It would have been better was a scoop of fresh whipped cream to go with the fresh fruit and crunchy layer. 5 Stars - French pressed Italian coffee. The coffee was a highlight of the dessert. It was hot, fresh, and strong. Just like an Italian coffee should be. It was between an espresso and caffe' Americano. Our, server, Andrew did a wonderful job on the coffee! I definitely recommend this place and we will be back. Don't forget to ask for Andrew, if he is available.

Summer, the waitress/bartender was so attentive but more importantly very skilled at making an exceptional old fashion. Every sip was a reminder of southern comfort. Warm like grandma and stern like grandpa. (The block ice is optional so request as needed). The oysters were the star of the show. My first bite tasted like a pleasant memory of New Orleans. Consider this a buttery Bayou banger. Don't be shy, squeeze that lemon and dip that bread and leave nothing behind. The south west chicken salad is not to be slept on! I had a pretty big lunch so I wanted something light, but still packed a flavor punch. Boy was I knocked off my feet! The heirloom tomatoes, fresh avocado and homemade chipotle ranch took me from Louisiana to Mexico quicker than any plane could. I could not wait to share what was shared with me! I took my walk back down the street feeling gleeful and ready to brag. I received this recommendation from a local Mississippian and I couldn't be more happy with my decision. In fact, initially I felt bad about hitching a ride with my colleagues and later ditching them (they went to another spot up the street) until I was given every reason to be proud of stepping foot in The Manship.

Came on a Friday night around 7 and it was busy but we were able to be seated. Stayed for about 1 1/2 hours and the place was steady. 4.75 Stars - Staff ( believed all family members) were friendly, professional, and efficient. The chefs kept the food coming out and the servers and helpers made sure your drinks and food was served in a timely manner. Food: 3.75 - 4.25 Stars Appetizer - 3.75 Stars : Fried Green Tomatoes topped Flaky Crab Meat in a light creamy sauce. The creamy sauce was too thin. Needed a roux or cornstarch to slightly thicken it up. There are four small - medium sized green tomatoes as the foundation for the crab meat w kinda' Cajun creamy sauce which gave the tomatoes a sweeter taste. The tomatoes were slightly acidic being "green tomatoes". Definitely needed a little bit of black pepper and salt. The creamy base was okay. Just needed some more seasoning and to be thicker. Entree's: 3.75 Stars - Seafood Pasta. An Angel hair dish served with crawfish, two scallops, four shrimps and crabmeat in a light Cajun seasoning creamy sauce. A healthy portion of the pasta and seafood. HOWEVER, the dish could have been soooo much more tasty. Lightly seasoned with Cajun spices and a hint of garlic. Salt and pepper was definitely needed to enhance the flavor. Dish has the potential to be really good. 4.25 Stars - Grilled Shrimp and Scallops w fried potatoes and sautéed veggies. Both the shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly; tender and soft. You can cut the items with a spoon. Especially the scallops; they were buttery in taste and were wonderfully seared. The seasoned on the shrimp and scallops had enough heat to tell you, "Hey, taste me cuz you will like what I bring"! Only thing missing was some acid and tart from a lemon or lime. None were accompanied with the dish. My wife added a lemon from her water. Server didn't asked or presented any lemons for the dish. Dessert: Tres Leches 4 Stars it was sweet, savory and the sponge cake was light and airy. The whipped cream with the chocolate drizzle and sweetened milk was wonderful. Definitely needed an espresso or cappuccino which they don't serve. Overall: we will be back to taste other menu options. Also, they have Couple Date menu for $35 (Mon-Wed) and a $75 ((Thurs-Saturday) special where the couple will get ONE Appetizer, TWO Entrees and a ONE Dessert to share. I believe that is a Pretty good deal!

The place was not crowded but was doing a decent business and we only waited about a minute before being escorted to our table. The space is slightly cramped, as you have to walk single file down the aisles, especially if there are customers at the tables. Regardless, the decor is nicely done with cool copper looking A/C ductwork exposed among the black painted rafters and beams in the ceiling. I was immediately arrested by the Apple Fritter French Toast, French toast style fritters with fried apples, rum butter sauce, blueberries and powdered sugar! Both the description and the pictures on the menu were mouth-watering! But I was also torn between that and the Bourbon Street Pancakes, three house-recipe cakes topped bananas, pecans, rum butter sauce drizzle and whipped cream. Yeah, I was thinking exactly what you are thinking right now! After much indecision, I opted for the French Toast, with a side of eggs and chicken sausage. My mom ordered the Pumplin Crunch Waffle, a pumpkin infused graham cracker crunch Belgian waffle, spiced pumpkin cheesecake butter, maple pumpkin syrup and powdered sugar. I also opted to try one of their Cranberry Pomegranate Fizz Mocktail, which was iced tea, cranberry and pomegranate syrups, lime and ginger beer, with rosemary and orange peel! We were taking no calories prisoner today! After a short wait, my mocktail was brought out. It was just okay. First, the glass was completely full of ice so there was barely any drink. The syrups were a little too sweet and the ginger beer was not very prominent. As I was tasting it, our server came back to inform me that they were out of apples for my French Toast. Maybe its just me, but 9am seems kind of early to be running out of ingredients for your featured dish at a breakfast/brunch restaurant... Anyway, that dilemna settled, I reverted to my other choice and got the Bourbon Pancakes. I also asked the server to remake my mocktail with less ice, which he obliged very quickly. Our food arrived shortly thereafter and the pancakes were really good! Just the right amount of flavor and syrup. My mom's belgian waffle was also pretty good, although she wished it had been larger. The eggs and sausage were decent, but not especially memorable. Overall, it was a really enjoyable first meal back in Jackson. I would not hesitate to come again!
