Stopped in while in town visiting our daughter in College and will definitely be back if we are ever in the area. We had a table of 7 and everyone cleaned their plates and we were all stuffed. The burgers have such great flavor combinations and the waitress was super sweet and helpful. It is a rather large restaurant with a large bar and both upstairs and downstairs seating with a super cool vibe. I had the special don't be jelly burger and it was nothing short of amazing. Double patty, pimento cheese , fried pickles, bacon and sweet and spicy jam. All of my favorites in one super loaded burger with all the flavor! Highly recommend you give it a try. I sure hope they make it a permanent burger on the regular menu. The fries are perfectly cooked and seasoned and we dipped them in their homemade ranch which was also excellent. Two people in our group had the classic double stack and loved the addition of the fried jalapeños. Two people had the whiskey bourbon burger and said it was REALLY good as well. OK, I guess we can say it all starts with the young lady who took my order. She was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and answered my questions. That's a plus for me. I ordered two burgers called hillbilly Philly steak. I believe it was. I also wanted to try something different. She suggested to me the peanut butter . My last review for this restaurant was about 7 years ago. It's high time for an update! On our last trip to Mississippi, we decided to give this place another shot and grab dinner here.... ok, it was actually our last option as everything else had closed, but I'm damn glad everything else was closed or we wouldn't have wandered back in here again. Everything was perfect: Service - CHECK Burgers - CHECK Fries - CHECK Drinks always full - CHECK Clean - CHECK Seriously, the burger was so darn juicy... I was licking my lips! Everything was so wonderful I asked to speak to the manager at the end of our meal. I explained to him about our bad experiences in the past and even my horrible Yelp review. He was quite happy and he brought to my attention that the restaurant was under new management because they had been getting a lot of complains. I promised him a new Yelp review with a glowing 5 stars.... so here it is! Next time we're in Mississippi, I can't wait to eat here again! The past 2 or 3 times we have been to this location the service was sub par. I do not like feeling like I am a bother as a customer and that exactly how we have been treated the last few times we have been here. We were there for an hour 20 minutes of that was waiting for a table, which I could understand if they had been busy, which they were not. I should have listened to the other customer who told me "The service isn't what it used to be" as he was walking out. Food was cold when it arrived, we waited a while to get our drink order placed because our waitress was sitting down at another table hanging out. We will drive to Pearl next time. read more

This is my first visit and I tried Da Big Kahuna. Let me start off by saying that this was the best burger I ever ate. The meat was cooked to perfection and was juicy and wonderful. The bun was lightly toasted and had a sweet taste to it. Everything on it was fresh and perfect, so the flavors married perfectly well together, making every bite worth savoring. This restaurant has won best burger in three state of Mississippi every year from 2007 - 2017 and I'm sure that it will continue to win more! The atmosphere is family friendly and it does have a bar. The service is excellent and very friendly. Prices are great, too. It only cost us $61 to feed four adults and two children. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu from what I hear. My name's Jeff...in town for work. Went there with my co worker after spending 30 mins trying to decide where to eat. We were greeted and sat with no problems. The atmosphere was nice, not too loud, not too bad at all. Our waitress was Ainsley, she was very happy, energetic, helpful, attentive...you name it, she was it. She Suggested the southwest Philly...it was NOT served on the traditional but it was still AMAZING !!! She and her trainee made the night for us. After living here for 6 years, it kills me that I hadn't even thought to sample this place. Thanks to my HS friends we decided to sit and dine here to catch up our stories. As I glanced at the menu, I noticed there was an indecisively large amount of burger choices that I couldn't spot on wanting to try. As 15 minutes passed, our table was filled with 8 people all of us laughing and talking. Then, our burgers arrived. The first sight of my burger, I instantly knew it was gonna be deliciously mouth-watering. Therefore, it was also extremely messy, but messy dang good! I could tell the ground beef wasn't just a frozen patty that they reheated under the heating lamp, but instead hand-made homemade seasoned to perfection meat that melted in my mouth. Two big thick slices of pineapple rings that engulfed the thick beef patty that was covered in sweet teriyaki sauce. I literally had an orgasm in the mouth since even the buns were soft and slightly sweet. As if they were Hawaiian rolls, OMG!!! It was incredibly divine. Also, the fries were cajun and not salty, mushy, frost-bitten, hard, or even too soft. They were just right and decadent!! Just thinking about my meal is making me hungry all over again. I'm so happy such a perfect meal didn't cost me an arm and an leg, it was only $8. However, the water I ordered as a beverage was disgustingly gross. It tasted as if it was shower water, not even faucet water and by far not tap water. It didn't taste fresh at all and the one lemon didn't help either.
