This restaurant is a hidden gem. It is a very laid back atmosphere. Usually I go for lunch. They have a very courteous and friendly staff. It's a great selection of soup, salads, and sandwiches. I decided to have the club salad. It's was a wonderful blend of ham, turkey, and bacon in addition to the greens, cheeses, and pickles. Also, the bagel chips to dip in the ranch tasted excellent. Great bagels, friendly service! I have stopped in twice in the past couple of weeks. It gets busy at lunch, but the line moves quickly. I have tried the following bagels: Asiago, blueberry, sun dried tomato, pumpernickel, and plain. They were all fantastic, and my favorite, so far, is the Asiago. The chicken salad was so good, too! Good bagels, but the store could use a little help. We stopped by Beagle Bagels to grab a quick breakfast while staying down the road. They have a great selection of bagels and toppings, and the prices aren't bad at all. We ordered 2 everything bagels with sausage, egg and cheese. The staff was friendly, and we were in and out pretty quickly. The space inside is large with many tables and couches. There were a lot of people working behind the counter, but there were quite a few tables that were dirty and the couches looked like they'd seen better days. We decided to take our bagels to go. We have ordered many times as a group from this location. Always late, always messed up with items missing. Today, we called to ask for our missing items. The person said they would make it right and redo the whole order. Within 20 min someone from the location called back and said they would not redo the order but would replace the missing items. While my friend was telling her what was missing the person hung up on her. We are now wAiting for ‍‍ not sure what. Bagel was good. I'd say they serve one of the best in town, but the customer service, or cashier was terrible. Doesn't even greet me with smile, she looked very moody for the whole times. Gave me such hard time when I was making orders, kept asking me what do I want to order even I was telling them clearly what I want for my bagel to be. Took 18 minutes to get our bagels made. Good thing there weren't more customers there. Employees were nice but understaffed and inefficient. 1 other customer there wasn't wearing a mask despite signs. No enforcement. Unsure how this place will survive. It was our first time this morning. My wife ordered a bacon and egg plain bagel sandwich. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. Both were toasted. The taste was OK. Similar to Einstein Bagel. The bacon was undercooked and mushy. The egg was luke warm. The cheese was on the wrong bagel so I moved it over myself. It was disappointing. The staff was nice but there appeared to be some confusion on who was supposed to be handling the cooking. The men's room had a pretty dirty floor and there were no paper towels, just napkins. Right when we got out of the car, it smelled like a bowling alley in the 80's- employees were smoking right at the corner where you walk in, so it smelled inside as well. No one greeted us; the girl just stood at the register sorting money. She didn't acknowledge us as we waied for about 8 minutes. Counter was a mess, and the bagels looked small for a bagel place. Well, first the good, the Everything Bagel was everything it should be, the garlic-herb cream cheese was great as well. Tsuya got a ham, egg, cheese breakfast bagel sandwich. Said it was a bit on the salty side, but then proceeded to eat the whole thing sooo . The coffee was hazelnut, so that was kinda so-so, good if you're a big hazelnut fan I guess. Now the bad, the service behind the counter was extremely confusing and slow. Everyone was running everywhere behind it, which only made it more confusing. Stations might make it better. The coffee is self-serve, and when we went to get ours, one of the machines was empty, we had to let the staff know. Someone should probably check in on that periodically, and both pots were still open under the coffee maker which only served to add to the confusion. It was dine in and take out which is nice in this day and age. Bottom line, if you've got some time to kill, and don't mind waiting a bit, not a bad place to grab a bagel and a coffee in the morning. read more

Worst service ever. Ordered the Madison with one bagel. After I ordered and paid for my food I waited 20 minutes and then complained. The restaurant manager Chad told me they didn't have the food I ordered and paid for. It took them 20 minutes to figure that out?? Then he told me to "calm down" as I was complaining that I ordered and paid for food they didn't have. Am I supposed to be subservient and just be happy that I got ripped off? I came here with my sister and I wanted to treat her to a lovely breakfast. however, after my order was taken, I went up to pay and the cashier, who I believe was the manager, was very rude to us. first, he threw a bag of chips towards us. then he took a cake I was holding and turned it sideways into my bag. also, during these scary covid times, he was not wearing a mask correctly also not wearing gloves. when he put my sandwich in the bag, he grabbed the bread with his bare hands. we also found several hairs in our food. im very disappointed. I asked what are my choices for salad toppings your answer was tomatoes and spinach why would you ask what else? Do I have more options??? If I order a bottle of water and it's around the corner I would think you would let me know "your bottle water is around the corner" if it's a salad you packed it Togo although I was planning on dining in, you should of given me a fork. Instead they are around the corner on the other side! Now I've decided he didn't care for me as a customer I'll just take my business where the service is a little better. Their Breakfast plate is priced competitively. Similar is $13 at Broadstreet and $10 at Primos versus $7 at BB and you get their great bagels. I have been here once before for breakfast and the food was great and so was the costumer service. My mother in law is visiting from out of town so I decided to take her here for lunch thinking it would be great but I was wrong! The costumer services was horrible both workers looked tired and annoyed, when I ordered my panini then ordered a bagel she seemed very annoyed to the point I was afraid to order another bagel for my daughter. I go to pay and no one was at the register for 4 min yes I timed it, then I paid and waited another 5 min for them to throw my food in a bag and slide it to then quickly walk away before I check the order. Worst service!! Rude and slow. I went in and had multiple bagels for my order. The guy moved slow, was distracted by coworkers. Instead of trying to get my order done he played around with one of his coworkers who came to "check and see how he was doing." Then he stood around not finishing my last bagel, looking confused and dazed. He even messed it up, but by that point I just wanted my order. They were having multiple personal conversations while people in line stood there. The tall, balding white guy who checked me out gave me my change, spilled a penny of my change in the tip jar, and when I told him he didn't have to fish it out he said, "Thank you for your generosity," and scoffed. I would have tipped if the service hadn't been so bad. I guess the employees figure there are enough catering orders or enough people come in that it doesn't matter how they act, but I won't EVER go back and I went in several times a week.
