We started with the onion rings and fried cheese balls, which were hot, crispy, and definitely worth ordering. The burgers and patty melt were cooked well and came with perfectly seasoned crinkle fries. Dessert was the real star of the meal. The peach cobbler was warm, buttery, and full of fruit, the pecan pie was rich and gooey, and even the simple vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce hit the spot. I also appreciated the variety of Southern sides available: mac and cheese, turnips, black-eyed peas, lima beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli, salads, and more. Service was friendly, portions were generous, and prices felt reasonable for the amount of food we received.
