Sammiches are classic croissant, meat, egg and cheese. Smaller, warmed and great for something inexpensive and on-the-go. I've also tried the boudin kolache and found it quite nice as well. The atmosphere is the fire thing I noticed. Immediately it's cozy. It's in a nice spot, and when you walk in you notice two things- it's clean, it's sooo nice, honestly. The second thing I noticed is the smell- it smells heavenly. The service was quick and easy- no harder. A pleasant exchange, we got our food, it was wonderful. My wife and had never been to this donut shop. I ordered biscuits w sausage gravy, and my wife ordered a cinnamon twist, a strawberry filled donut and a glazed donut. I took one bite of the biscuits and gravy and I was done. I hope the biscuits were canned because I would be embarrassed to say I made them from scratch, and the sauce pieces were terrible. The donuts were maybe the worst we'd ever tried. The dough was tough and dry like an old dinner role and the flavor was awful. With respect to service, I would describe the young lady at the front counter was indifferent. I don't like to rate using the star system; I prefer thumbs up (meaning I'll go back) or thumbs down (meaning I won't go back). This place gets a thumbs down from me. Whenever I visit Mississippi, this is always a must stop. I love their chocolate glazed doughnut holes and they also have these puffy pastries wrapped around sausages (I have no idea what they are called) and they are delicious. The pasty isn't sweet, nor is it like a biscuit.... it's more like a croissant, but it's not a croissant. I don't know what it is... it's just damn good... try one! The prices here are also really great! Highly recommend!! PS: Come early. If you wait until 10am or later, they are sold out of most of the popular items. read more

They make delicious donuts. Personally, I love their blueberry, the chocolate covered, and their apple fritter but they are all good. Especially the cake donuts. I wouldn't say it's my favorite place for donuts in town, but they are definitely higher on the list. I would recommend this place for a breakfast snack. read more

This is my boyfriend and my go to for breakfast food! My favorite is the giant pig in a blanket with cheese and a strawberry filled donut. It is seriously to die for! And they have tons of breakfast drink options. They're also super early. I like to swing by before clinicals. And it's always like $4. It's insane how good it is for the price!
