Got there just in time for the plain donuts to come out hot. Baby, let me tell you, this thing was melt in your mouth. While I typically follow a gluten free diet, I always stop at Shipley's when I'm in MS (bloating be damned!) I ordered a six pack and one Apple fritter, as you can see from the picture, one plain donut didn't make it back home. Lol. My faves are the plain, sugar, and apple fritter. The only thing that would've made this five stars was if the coffee was good. It's your average cup of Joe, eh. Staff are fast and make the drive through ordering seamless. Stop by and treat yourself! read more

Shipley Do-Nuts - Strawberry, plain, maple bacon, chocolate frosted, raspberry filled - Donuts Near Me - RIDGELAND, Mississippi

Overall, it's a standard donut chain spot. I'm not sure if they ship in their donuts from a central bakery like other national chains, but I wasn't too impressed. Classic donuts weren't fresh and lacked a bit of soul. Good service. Quick and easy to order. Will keep it in mind if I'm ever in dire straits. read more

Bought a bear claw. It was kind of tough/stale, the glaze had melted on part of it, and it was slightly cold. Pretty sure they didn't sell it the day before, put it in the fridge, then sold it to me the next day. Definitely was not made the morning I bought it. First not great experience here. Posting hoping they see it and do better. read more

I went here thinking that these would be great. I've gone to the one in Clinton and they are always good and fresh. Just found this one so I was glad because it is closer to me, but I was so very disappointed. I went through the drive through and when I pulled off I couldn't wait to bite into what I thought would be a delicious donut. But to my great disappointment it was supper cold and stale This one is a know!! Rating would be a 0. read more

Ordered two Kolaches and a chocolate sprinkled do-nut. The service was quick but not super friendly. The building was a bit dirty. The food itself was disgusting. Kolaches were so gross and the doughnuts were cakey. I will not be back. read more

Shipley's Donuts provide great donuts with great prices! Great customer service and not a long wait. The staff are very nice. I look forward to trying more variety of different donuts and menu items they have to offer, especially the beignets. Gives a different option besides just Krispy Kreme. I am also a rewards member with Shipley's as well, where great deals are provided on a regular basis on top of the great prices. read more

Very disappointing. I went to get donuts for my nephews, and when opened the box when I got home I realized that they're clearly a day or two or more old. Hard as a brick bat. read more

These doughnuts have form and substance! Hard to beat their hot yeast delights or soft cake creations. Get them fresh for a taste experience! Service is fast and courteous. I suggest getting take-away understanding you WILL get sugar on your steering wheel and seat! read more

First I don't eat donuts or sweets, they might be great here. I stopped in here today for breakfast kolaches and was severely disappointed. This isn't even real meat. I can't believe people actually eat this rolled up deli slice in a hot dog bun. At least change the name to not fool people who know what a kolache is supposed to be. read more

These donuts are THE Best donuts ever! I have not had one anywhere else this good! They are light with the perfect amount of sweetness.

I have gotten day old donuts the last two times. The first time was a drive through about 7:00 A.M. The second time, I went inside, and explained I wanted fresh donuts. I could tell the ones on the shelf had been there awhile. The lady got some off the rack for me, and they were old as well. I had been a regular customer. There won't be a next time. read more

Ummmmm I'm a VERY HARD critic. Now that that's out the way, let's go! I'm in search of some really yummy doughnuts now that I'm living here in Jackson, Ms. I did a google search and it took me to a place called Pillow but while I was in the furniture store the manager suggested Shipley's so I decided to try them first. I got an Apple fritter, it left me wanting an Apple fritter because that one didn't do it for me! It wasn't bad just not what I'm used to. I like a crunchy on the outside and fluffy chewy on the inside kind of pastry. Well this one ain't it. I also got a 1/2 dozen, I got maple frosted (it ain't maple'n), there's not enough maple flavor for me. I got strawberry frosted, chocolate frosted and 3 glazed doughnuts. There's something more than just flavor missing in all of them. I feel like I need to toss them and hop in the car and try another spot but I'm not in the mood for another let down in one day. It's safe to say I won't be visiting Shipley's again. I won't say it's this location, I can sense this is how it's going to be no matter the location because it's the recipe. It could be because I let a guy send me there, some guys don't get it. All donuts are NOT created equal. They're too heavy and not airy and fluffy enough for my liking. The other problem maybe that I went to a chain donut spot instead of a private owned one. If you guys can, PLEASE send me food/dessert ESPECIALLY doughnuts suggestions. read more

Delicious donuts and the friendliest staff. Always our first choice for sausage rolls too.

Good food tastes like if coffee had an orgasm in your mouth. The cream filled donut makes you want to jump through steph curry's house and 3 am talking bout "you tryna go to Shipley do 's" read more

Best family owned donut business! Friendliest staff!! Even has a drive thru and the Kolahes are everything! The donuts are cheap and not to mention super delicious!! Their inside is super cute! You're able to see all of their amazing fresh donuts! They have so many, it makes it hard to chose for sure! Love this place definitely will continue to be a customer! They make delicious donuts. Personally, I love their blueberry, the chocolate covered, and their apple fritter but they are all good. Especially the cake donuts. I wouldn't say it's my favorite place for donuts in town, but they are definitely higher on the list. I would recommend this place for a breakfast snack. read more

Great donuts, love the beignets. Always polite and fast service. Glad to see them come.

Best donuts around!! Friendly service, clean store, and they have a drive-thru. Highly recommend!

I went to the shop in Flowood and was going to buy two dozen donuts. They were cold like they had been taken out of a refrigerator. Room temperature donuts, I can deal with, but cold ones, no. For the price of a dozen donuts now, you'd think they would not be cold. The lady there said that's the way they were sold. I guess you have to go right when they open to get unrefrigerated donuts. I was raised in Vicksburg, Ms. and we were regulars at Shipleys for a long time. After moving, I found the shop in Clinton. They were always good. I was extremely disappointed in this shop. I didn't even feel like I was at a Shipleys. I will not go back. read more

I purchased a dozen assorted donuts this morning. I noticed the filled ones were not as large as you would expect. I found out why when I tried two different filled ones. They are raw and gummy in the middle. A total waste of my money. These raw donuts could very well make someone sick. I had eaten a half of one when I noticed how gummy it was so hopefully I won't be sick. I cannot recommend this place. read more

Awful. Went at 11 am. Ordered an assortment as I had guests for the weekend. Cold, crusty and seemingly cooked HOURS ago. If you are open 12 hours some of your product should be fresh...not the case. Skip this place! read more
