Cafe is out of the way hidden. If you are going to the airport or live nearby I highly recommend you to stop by to get some good breakfast and good coffee and support local business. Coffee, they offer different roast, never had any barista ask me that before. Great service. Breakfast, I am surprised the food is delicious. I wasn't expecting much from a cafe but the burrito came out hot and fresh and pack with egg and cheese and steak. They also have one of the cleanest bathroom ever.

I was really excited to try this place out. I arrived a little before 8:30 and, even with a couple cars ahead of me, I didn't mind waiting because I wanted to look over the menu. Prices are on the higher side, but that's expected in our current economy. The cashier was friendly and helpful when I placed my order, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was disappointing. After paying, I was told to pull up front and wait for my food. My coffee was brought out first, I have no complaints about the coffee other than the cup was smaller than expected. I asked the lady about the rest of my order and she said she would go check on it. my sandwich I ordered didn't come for another 15 minutes. It seemed like my order may have been forgotten since it doesn't take a lot of preparation to make. When I finally received my loaded avocado toast, the egg was overcooked, cold, and rubbery -- clearly not freshly made -- and it was drenched in Sriracha. Given how close my workplace is, there's no way the food became that cold just from the drive. For nearly $9 just for the food portion of my order I expected much better quality. Sadly, what I received was closer to convenience store food than a café breakfast. This is meant as an informative review. I have worked a wide variety of food service and if this were my business I would want to know if someone had food quality issues so I could address the issue.

Good Lordy, I found heaven on earth right here in Pearl, Mississippi! I searched the map for a coffee cafe and maybe a muffin. I had no idea what I was walking into, and I'm so thrilled and over the moon that I did. I walked into a friend group I didn't know I had. The staff and owner were so nice, but to top that ( I hate to say that), your coffee and Chicken Taquitos are the best; they're so good. The warm, friendly girl at the counter pointed out the Chicken Taquitos and suggested the caramel macchiato. I was so happy she did because I'm always confused about what I want in a coffee. She listened to what I was trying to say and suggested the caramel macchiato, and she was spot on; it was that specific taste that I really liked. But the Chicken Taquitos are the best in the world! You have four large crispy taquitos cooked to a beautiful golden brown stuff with the most tender, seasoned chicken; every bite has the perfect crunch with plenty of flavor; it's like a party in your mouth. On top of the taquitos, you might as well call this a second dish, is a huge bed of lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and avocado. So I just took my time here, enjoying every bite, and being in a place full of friendly staff and people coming and going makes you sit longer. One more thing, the bathroom is so cute, it has a table to sit your things on, too. Also, don't worry about parking; there is plenty of space, and this place also has a drive-through window.

The food is delicious! Better tacos and quesadillas than any other Mexican restaurant around! The staff is actually excited to serve you.

Good coffee-I had the cold brew! I also had the loaded avocado toast. Yummy, although the toast could have been toasted a bit more.

The food in the cafe in the back looked like it had been sitting for hours and it was only 10 am. Highly deceptive pricing! They do not put prices on anything. Staff will speak only in Spanish to you. As a Latina, I find that this not only is unprofessional but not tailored to serve a community that is in need for reasonable pricing. I am heading to Hattiesburg area to pick up some of these staples bcuz there is no reason these prices should represent California prices.

Carniceria Valdez is literally a counter in the back of a Mexican grocery, but coming out of that kitchen is some mighty fine Mexican food. I went with a couple of tacos and a gordita. For the gordita, I went with chorizo as the protein and for the tacos I went with the asada and the barbacoa. The tacos were just under two dollars each ($1.99 to be exact) and the gordita was, I believe, $3.50. I probably enjoyed the gordita the most and the chorizo was definitely my favorite protein out of my three choices. The staff was friendly enough, though the ordering process was you walk up to the counter and order your meal and they call you up when it is ready. All in all, I would definitely recommend here and I will give it five stars.
