This place has become one of my lunch regulars. The quality and selection of Empanadas is amazing. That's typically what I grab. Get lots of the spicy green sauce to slather on after each bite. But also try the care asada if you have a larger appetite. It does come spicy with lots of peppers so ask for a mild version if you want to lower the heat. Staff are friendly and the service is fast. read more

A little on the small side but their nachos are to die for! Definitely worth it for the nachos!

Great food! My wife and I ate here for dinner. She had an assortment of three empanadas and I had a shrimp burrito. Service started with complementary chips and salsa, which were just right for an appetizer. Everything was terrific! my shrimp burrito was essentially fajitas in a wrap including abundant, shrimp, onions, and bell peppers with an appropriately tiny smattering of refried beans and some rice. It came with a chipotle, dipping sauce which was just perfect. The empanadas had tasty light crust and flavorful fillings. We will definitely go back to this place! read more

I've passed by here many times, but have never been able to drop by because my schedule and their hours have never aligned. While picking up dinner, I noticed their lights were on, so of course I busted a U-ie! I told myself that I already have dinner, so grab one or two to snack on... obviously that went right over my head once I saw the empanadas nestled nicely in the cases They had 5 varieties tonight, I got the Beef, Chicken, Ham and Cheese, and the Caprese, it came with chimichurri sauce. This is my first time having Argentinian empanadas, so I can't tell you if it's authentic, but I can tell you it's definitely delicious!! I thoroughly enjoyed the spices, the outside layer of the bread was light and airy. We liked them all, but our favorite was the one that looked the least stuffed, it was supposed to be Ham and Cheese, but I swear it was caramelized onions and cheese. I looked at their menu (posted in comments) and they did have an onion and cheese empanada. They probably gave us that on accident and I ain't complaining, I can eat my weight in that one and the beef. Well, I've definitely been missing out. I wished I got more, especially the onion and cheese, and beef one Posted their menu in the comments. read more

This is the best latin restaurant in Jackson area hands down. The shrimp mango tacos on corn tortillas was flavor bomb!! Empanadas are so soft and savory, it doesn't even feel oily. Reminded me of home made food. I recommend all the mexican food fan to at least give it a try, you will definitely love it. Also please try their tres leches. The service was great, welcomed with smile and the place is cool too. read more

Very satisfied!! The kids menu was the perfect size and included a drink! Chips and salsa were free during dinner hours. The tacos were delicious. Empanadas were very good, although I am Puerto Rican and not used to the Mexican style. Nonetheless, they are some of the best empanadas I've ever had at a restaurant. The staff went above and beyond! Note- they charge a few dollars more if you're paying with a card, so I'd recommend you bring cash. Will definitely be back to eat at Tango! read more

5 star all around. Food was amazing, super clean and nice atmosphere and such a great owner/staff. We had the Chicken empanada, Sweet Corn Empanada, the Caprice Empanada, the Al Pastor taco and the Carne Asada taco and all were 10/10. The seasoning on the chips was AMAZING. This had flown under my radar since opening. Somehow, I just never saw it. My nephew invited me here for lunch and after looking at the menu, I was excited! We were greeted warmly by the staff and drinks were whisked out to the table. The food arrived super quick and hot. I ordered the Beef Empanada, Chicken Empanada, ground beef taco, and a salad as the Combo Meal. The Beef Empanada was bursting with great flavor. The chicken was really good as well, but just not quite as good as the beef. The ground beef taco was a tasty "street taco" style taco. The salad is the traditional Mexican salad, which is a small pile of shredded lettuce, fresh pico de gallo, and sour cream. I used it mainly to dress the taco. My nephew loves the habanero hot sauce, but they were out today. The red sauce was a really good hot sauce with a kick, but didn't make me sweat, which he said the habanero does. I will be back! read more

My first impression walking in was how clean the place was! The staff was very friendly and the empanadas were great! I had the beef and the sweet corn! Great place to go when you want something different and the prices are more than reasonable! Will certainly be back! read more

A friend of mine brought me here and it was pretty good, but then I came back a few months later and it had become amazing. I'm not sure if something changed, but yum! Do yourself a favor and get an onion and cheese empanada! Mmm. I'm pretty sure they only make one batch of empanadas and when they are gone, they are gone! read more

I love this place. The empanadas are so good. The sweet corn and the onion are my favorite. It's very small and convenient. I love the folks that run it. I've been coming about once every two months. They recognize me. Very friendly. read more

Great food and service. Staff is always friendly and fast to bring everything out. One of my favorite spots in the area.

Chips n salsa were decent. Beef empanadas were cold and really Lacked a lot of flavor. I assume that was supposed to be a chimichurri sauce they gave me. A whole tablespoon fur 2 empanadas. I won't be back. read more

My review is limited to their empanadas, service and facility which are all 5 star. Jackson is not the place you think of for true ethnic food but not the case with Tango's empanadas, they're the real deal. I love a good empanadas and Tango delivers. I was introduced to them on trips to Chile Argentina Columbia and former Colombian neighbors home in Chicago. read more

Finally tried this joint and it was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the place was absolutely spotless. We tried 5 different tacos (all delicious, but I really loved the al pastor and birria were my faves. The empanadas are banging! I could've eaten a dozen. We tried ham & cheese, spinach, and cheese/onion. All were great, but that cheese/onion were to die for. read more

The empanadas (we had the beef and chicken) were really good but we did not like the tacos. The taco shell was soggy and the fish had a strange taste which might be because they used catfish. My husband had the pork taco and said it was just okay. We ordered the cheese dip to use with the empanadas. This was a take out order. We did go back for more empanadas few days later. read more

The BEST EMPANADAS!!! Great atmosphere, a cool mix of customers. Food is consistently good.

We saw the sign the last time we ate at Sushi Village and come back to try it tonight. It was so good! I've never had anything like it. The chicken empanada tasted like love in a pie. I can't express how wonderful this food is. We were blown away by this place! read more
