Good, authentic, Latin food! I got a steak sope, chicken pause, and Jamaica Fresca. All were delicious and full of flavor. Antojitos has some traditional specials that are in the styles of Honduran, Mexican, and Guatemalan. Atmosphere: The restaurant is casual, straight forward-no frills. You can purchase a few market items here like meat, pan, produce and packaged goods like plantain/banana chips. Overall: I'll be back to try a few more things! Check them out. read more

Hidden gem alert! Antojitos Emanuel has a variety of different regional dishes from Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. There was a small misunderstanding with my dish as I wanted the fried chicken version, but it was prepared " à la plancha" instead. Service was still excellent and it was a nice eating environment. I wasn't even disappointed with my food, it was still amazing. The papas locas, the red rice and beans, too good! Plenty of tortillas were served with the plate too which made it even better. I loved the small chips and salsa that they provided alongside my cafe de olla. Overall, this place will be included in my rotation whenever I come down to Jackson, Mississippi. read more

Antojitos Emanuel is a great restaurant that has some amazing food and brings a great representation of Latin American food to Ridgeland, Mississippi. Walking in, this place has pretty much zero ambiance or vibe, but the staff is so warm and friendly, it far exceeded the warmth of any fancy dining room. I went with the tacos catrachon, which are Honduran tacos. The presentation was definitely spot on and the taste was equally impressive. They also brought out a very tasty hot sauce. I would definitely recommend Antojitos Emanuel and I will give it five stars overall. read more

When you arrive at Antojitos you wouldn't think they serve world class central and south American food, well, you would be wrong! This place was incredible and served the most amazing flavorful Latin food from Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. The ambiance is very basic, but very clean and welcoming. The owners and staff were perfectly genuine and welcoming and offered world class service. they took their time to explain the menu and even how to prepare the different dishes before you dig in. Take of from someone who has dined in over 25 foreign countries and all over the united states, this is the ABSOLUTE best South American and central American food in the entire state of Mississippi. 100% recommend and we will be back very often. read more

Absolutely love this place! Simply delicious and authentic food!! The cantaloupe agua fresco I had while the first time visiting literally tasted like cotton candy! Sweet but not overpowering. I tried the pupusas and baleadas. The slaw that goes with the pupusas was so, so good. But the star was the sauces!!!! The savory, mild sauce...PERFECTION!!!! The spicy sauce....DELECTABLEEEEEE. 10/10 service. My server was extremely helpful and nice. They also have fresh vegetables and fruits to sell & a few stocked shelves. As well as a mini meat market. First time here so we wanted to try a little bit of everything. We asked the lady at the front, and she recommended the beef tamale from Guatemala, beef and cheese pupusas from El Salvador, ground beef enchilada and tripe soup from Honduras.... so I ordered one of each I've had pupusas before, but the ones I've had were slightly more doughy, kind of like a thicker flour tortilla dough. This one tasted like it was pressed with corn masa. Filling was delicious, nicely seasoned ground beef and onions, the cheese oozed out of the side pockets, so it was slightly burnt fried cheese, so good!! Tamale was twice the size of any tamale I've ever had, and super meaty. There were chunks of slow cooked beef stuffed into a light corn masa. It was bone-in beef, which I didn't expect, but a nice surprise, beef came right off, that's how tender it was. I'm used to tamales with less meat, and mostly masa, which I'm also not complaining about, if the masa is good, I can go with less filling. I love my tripe, and menudo, so of course I had to get this soup! Very flavorful, and once I added the spicy salsa, it was even better! Their soup came with house made corn tortillas, and Spanish rice. I also really enjoyed the chunks of tripe, cassava, potato, Corn, plantains, and cabbage in the soup. First time having Honduran enchiladas, it's quite different than what I'm used to. Flavors were great, but I highly recommend eating this there, as it doesn't carry well due to it getting soggy. There were many firsts for me tonight with dishes that I was familiar with, but from different regions, and I absolutely enjoyed trying them! Yall they also have molé which I haven't found here, so I'm excited to come back and try. The lady was very knowledgeable, and the staff was awesome and friendly. This is one my favorite places to eat around the Jackson area. I live out near Canton, but if I didn't I would eat here at least once a week. The food is very authentic, the staff is friendly, and the fresh produce blows Kroger out of the state. I would come here to eat nothing but the pupusa, but everything I have tried has been great. Go get a mixed pupusa, add some orange sauce, and the slaw, it will change your life. The portions are large and satisfying. Give it a try. read more

Delicious food & generous portions. This spot is just what I've been looking for. I love pupusas & Central American food I'm Mexican & from California so I'm used to having access to food from many Latin cultures - I'm Glad to see the love this place is being shown & that it's well deserved. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly & seated immediately. Our server came right over and took our drink order I got a corn atole which is a warm corn custard drink (it's a cold rainy day so it was perfect) my mom got a pineapple water. They brought over complimentary chips in a nice sauce with a cheese on top not spicy at all & hit the spot. I ordered a Guatemalan tamale which when it came shocked me it was the size of a dinner plate & the masa was so flavorful & soft I loved it. I also ordered a pupusa loca which I took a few bites of because the tamale filled me up! As a sweet treat we did order the fried sweet plantains which I always love and theirs were cooked so perfectly. We will definitely return to try some of the other food and it's worth noting the crowd was diverse, all happy & all well attended to. read more

Antojitos Emanuel was a fantastic new find today. First time with Central American food and it was all delicious and will be going back. Best guacamole and chips I have ever had, tacos great tho different than traditional Mexican tacos and had my first pupusas ( cheese, beans, pork) delicious. These three shared things enough for two ladies with a little to take home. No beer which would have been nice but Mexican (real) Coke worked! The staff were so friendly and helpful especially for first timers. Feels like family! Very clean even has small meat market and limited fresh vegetables for at home cooking. It is not fancy but certainly an enjoyable experience. Will definitely be going back soon! Five stars for greatly exceeding expectations in every category! read more

This was a first for us. They don't speak much English and the menu is in Spanish so the lady that does speak English is super nice and helpful. We told her to just bring us lunch. Her choice and she did. We really enjoyed it and will be back. This is Guatemalan and Honduran food. The real deal. Not cookie cutter Mexican like 95% of the south if the border themed restaurants are. I'm not sure exactly what we had but it was good and we will try something else next trip just to sample some more.
