First time visiting Plato Feliz and it won't be the last. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated. I ordered a premium margarita and my husband ordered a modela beer along with a small bowl of queso. Our drinks and queso came out quickly and were all tasty. I like that their chips are thin and the salsa has a bit of spice. I had the beef fajitas chimichanga. It was great! The meat had a nice amount of seasoning and everything on the plate was tasty. My husband ordered the tacos el pastor. The poke was tender and seasoned to perfection! I enjoyed my chimichanga but I will order the el pastor next time. read more

Service was good. We had a very attentive waiter. The restaurant was packed. Noise level was high. Great place for a family. Margaritas and blue moon beer was good. Finally i have a place with thin tortilla chips. Salsa was okay. The salsa verde had a nice green taste. Function appetite was good and bubbling hot. The street tacos and tacos al carbon were okay. I prefer grilled hot steak. I do not like meat that appears to have been sitting and soaking. If you do it better have flavorful seasoning. Homemade guacamole was awesome, fresh, and plentiful. had dinner with a group of friends in this traditionally decorated mexican spot in flowood. i started with a margarita that for me lacked flavor and tasted more like sweet and sour mix than a traditional margarita. i opted for the mushroom quesadilla with rice and beans. the mushrooms were canned not fresh but there was a substantial mount in the quesadilla. service was fast and they turned over a large number of tables swiftly. food, drinks and service were all okay, but with many other options in the area this would t be my choice for mexican food. read more

Tried this based on all the good reviews. Not sure what we missed. Our server couldn't tell us what a dip was because of a language barrier and made no effort to find someone else. We asked three people in total and none spoke enough English to tell us what a menu item was even with pointing at it. We finally ordered something else and it was really bland. I visited on 7/28 of this year for my birthday, I'm not from the area but my best friend is and suggested we go here. The food was fantastic, the chicken was very tender, and the service was wonderful. Always making sure we didn't need a refill. The table and sounding areas are very clean, which is a must when I eat out. I'd definitely suggest this to anyone in the area craving Mexican food. read more

We tried this place from "word of mouth". I'm glad we did. The food is fresh and delicious. Service is fast and friendly. We've tried the enchiladas, chimichangas and fajitas. Haven't had a bad bite. The atmosphere is great. Not overcrowded or really loud. Definitely recommend! read more

Right when I walked into this establishment I noticed the beautiful decor. The main entrance bar which I posted a picture of is beautiful definitely a place for hangouts and get togethers, the theme is exciting and new in comparison to other Mexican restaurants in the area. I wish the exciting interesting aesthetic was in the whole restaurant but it was mainly concentrated in the center which is fine! Some is better then none. 9/10 The food was delicious I got the street tacos on steak and it was well worth it, the wait time was not bad at all. The meat on the tacos was tender and the sides tasted nice and fresh when and before I applied them. 10/10 The service was good. I only wished it was more interactive and informative because I couldn't really distinguish what was the specialties on the menu. I say interactive could've been better mainly because I travel a lot and a personal preference I always enjoy is interactive and exciting service. :) but this does not make this a bad restaurant is was a good experience, I will come back and if something changes I will post a follow-up. we came in for my birthday dinner and the food was good and prices reasonable but service was not so good. i understand it was busy but my server went to every table around us multiple times, he did not come to our table for ~30 min after taking our order and somebody else brought our food. we had to wave down the manager to get a drink from our server as every time he got done with a table or looked at us he turned around pretty fast and walked off and we couldn't even call him over. i'll go back for the food but definitely on a less busy day and hopefully get better service. read more

This is a great new spot! When I walked in, I noticed how clean and nice the restaurant was. Not that crowded as I came on a Monday night. The server was friendly, attentive and enjoyable. The chips were crispy. The salsa was good too. I got a burrito and the person with me ordered a chicken quesadilla. Both tasted great! They came with sides of rice and beans that were solid. Plato is a very nice Mexican Grill. The staff are all friendly and attend to their customers very well. Both times we have been to this location we saw the on duty manager out checking on customers, so clearly they are focused on taking care of you. The entire place is clean and the restaurant has a warm look and feel about it. The food is really quite good and the portions are plentiful. The second time we went my wife and I ordered fajitas for two and we ended up taking home a very large portion. This meal really could feed a small family!
