Amazing food! Outstanding service! We have been eating there since 2012. I have never had a bad experience eating here.

The service and setting/ ambiance was lovely, but I ordered the most simplistic burrito and was appalled when it came out covered in a red sauce, which wasn't stated on the menu. The waiter explained to me that most of their food came automatically smothered in it. I asked that he swap it for one without and quickly realized why they do this. This was the blandest meat I'd ever tasted as if it had been washed. The taste was also not beef taste I started referring to it as alley cat bc the odd flavor. It's a pity the food came out so sketchy it made me question the source bc we sat outside and it was beautiful and everyone from the hostess to the waiter was a sweetie. I've been reading other reviews and it would seem to be the general consensus that the food quality has gone downhill over the last couple years! read more

The prices at Cazadores has tripled in the last 2 months. Special burritos were $10 80. Two months ago. Now they're $16.00. Plus tax it's $17. You get even less food I would say. On this day. You can make the same thing at home and probably tastes better. The food there isn't good. Sorry guys. read more

Our server was sooooo rude! We go there regularly, but not anymore! There are better Mexican food restaurants out there where you are treated politely!!!! read more

I was told Cazadores was amazing. I took my 7 year old niece. She only eats quesadillas but this time she tried my shrimp from my shrimp and chorizo quesadilla and loved it. My quesadilla was good too. Very flavorful and full of shrimp and chorizo. Inside is a little different than your typical Mexican spot. It has the cheesy decorations but it has a small romantic vibe with the table set up. I will definitely be back. read more

Nothing bad, but not impressive. Started with a small serving of chips with watery salsa. I had an rather depressing quacamole salad and an OK shrimp cocktail. Just OK. read more

Always one of my favorite stops, but especially on Taco Tuesday. Great service, great food, and great prices. Ask for the hot sauce if you want to spice things up! read more

I've been eating here for a very very long time. Has to be the best Mexican spot you can eat in Ridgeland. The people that work here can be a little sketch at times but I guess if you want some dang good Mexican food you can live with it. You'll get your food out quickly and has to be the quickest service you'll ever see around town. read more

Cazadores is a decent enough Mexican restaurant in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The staff is friendly enough and the ambiance and vibe is friendly enough. I went with a burrito and overall, it was a good enough choice. I travel a lot for work and have found that Mexican food is the most consistently good food in my travels. Once upon a time, before the internet and Yelp, a lot of restaurant choices were to just get off the highway and look for a place. It really was the luck of the draw. Maybe look for the parking lot with the most cars. I just found back then that Mexican was the best bet. Now, of course, we have Yelp, but I still find myself seeking out Mexican food. It is probably because I love Mexican food. Overall, Cazadores was a pretty good choice for a dining choice read more

The food, the customer service is just amazing about this place. We love it! My family and I are regulars and we absolutely love the atmosphere of the place. read more

Make sure your take-out order is correct. They have consistently failed to make sure our order was correct. However, they gladly correct their oversight. Having to go back is a real hassle. The food has always been good. read more

I was hesitant to book her bc the 3.5 rating for husband 48th bday. We use to go here in years past and LOVE the Mocajete. I had a table of 11. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We were seated at a very busy time on Tuesday night at 7. Service was phenomenal. Our waiter was top tier on top of drink refills. The Mocajete was GREAT per usual. All plates came out at the same time which is very impressive and important to me personally dining culture as so many restaurants break this rule. So my question is for the ones that rated poorly??? Consider grace? Don't be scared to give this restaurant a try. ORDER THE MOCAJETE. LOL To the staff GOOD JOB WELL DONE! Thank you for a great night and making my better half's birthday AMAZING. read more

Horrible service! I had never been here before and was trying to get some guidance on what's good or popular. I asked the waiter, and he flat out told me he doesn't eat here. Confused, I went to the front to ask the same question, and she said the same thing--she doesn't eat here either. I figured maybe the manager could help, but he refused to offer any suggestions as well. This experience was incredibly frustrating. If none of the staff can recommend anything, how is a new customer supposed to feel welcome or confident in ordering? The customer service and management here are completely lacking. Definitely not up to par. Good luck if you decide to give this place a try. read more

Always tasty Mexican food for a great price! I love to go there and eat their food! Whether it's enchiladas, tacos or burritos, this place "has it"! read more

It's never a good sign when the salsa tastes like watery ketchup. Service was fine. Food was edible. No heat, even when I asked for hot sauce (because there was none on the tables). They brought a bowl of something from the kitchen that had no heat whatsoever. We're travelling so I just gave up. Not worth finishing. There was some salt, but not even any black pepper. Can't make this up. Just go somewhere else, unless you have IBS then this is your spot read more

Their Chorizio cheese dip flavor and consistency was good but very salty tasting. Chips were stale and greasy. I wanted beef fajitas, the waiter recommended the cavadores fajitas. It turned out to be be beef, chicken, and chorizio. It was very salty as well and a bland flavor. Someone told me their salsa was the best In The area. Not to me tomato pasty and ketchup consistency. This was my first visit and I am a big fan of Tex-Mex and Mexican Cuisine. Hopefully the next visit will be better. I was impressed with how they handled seating people swiftly. There were more than 20 people before us waiting to be seated and we were seated in less than 20 minutes. read more

The host seated us in a section contrary to our wishes. Chips were Stale. When the waitstaff came for our drink order, I asked for some fresh chips. Lame excuse stating they were all the same. We excused ourselves and exited the facility. It was 4:45. Chips probably left over from lunch. read more

Was so cheap and had about the size of my head and came in five minutes and you could really feel the Mexican culture in your hand

I've never gotten anything but good food and service. I would highly recommend Cazadores.

Good food, a popular restaurant I have eaten there many times. They're listed as Mexican but all food is good.

Being from Texas I have tried my best find a decent Mexican food place that was also inexpensive and this place fit that bill. All around very good food and the service is always top notch and you will be in and out very quickly! Great spot overall and it is the only Mexican place that gets my star of approval in the Jackson metro! read more

This is the best Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at. We had 11 people in our group and everyone loved their food. I had the Chicken Verde Enchiladas and they were incredible. The margaritas were fantastic. The service was wonderful. And the prices weren't bad, either. Couldn't be happier with our experience and will definitely be back. read more

Service was absolutely awful. We had a group of 8. Initially, the manager shooed our group to our table despite the fact that we did not know which table we were supposed to be sitting at. Our waiter gave bad service. We were here celebrating birthdays. He automatically assumed we were lying about the birthdays even though we had no reason to lie. Finally, we paid and some minutes later the manager came to us, tapped his watch, and told us we needed to leave because he needed a large table. There were many other groups who had been there even longer than we were still sitting. We spoke to the manager as we were exiting and told him he did not have to treat us so rudely and it all felt racially motivated as we were the only minority group in the establishment. He only shrugged his shoulders and said ok. I do not recommend. There are plenty of other mexican restaurants in the area with food that taste the same if not better. read more

At first, their chili rellenos were top notch, sadly, they have now, seemingly, just plastered a piece of white bread on each side of that relleno pepper and deep fried it with perhaps too much cheese in the middle. It's not crusty, it's not original, it's not worth ordering. Next, the quesadilla arrived limp, folded in half & I opened it up and took it apart to eat with a knife and fork. I've never had a quesadilla like that before. Never read more

Great place for a quick bite. Well-priced and the service is excellent. The lunch special is a great deal!

Went back once again, still amazing as always. Our waiter was very nice, and made sure we had refills on chips and salsa, as well as drinks. We were eating lunch a little late (2:00) and it was still pretty busy. I got a beef taco with a hard shell, and it was delicious! The shell was perfectly crunchy, the meat was seasoned very well. The two other people at our table had chimichangas and they both thought they were great. Everything was very clean, the bathrooms, tables, and seats. I highly recommend for quick and delicious Mexican! read more

We decided to try Cazadores on a recommendation from a friend. We got there a few minutes before 2 and I was worried that we may miss out on any lunch specials. Good news is that they serve lunch until 2:30. They had a nice menu with a wide variety of options. It was very cheap and inexpensive as well. We were brought chips and salsa immediately upon being seated. I got the enchiladas tapatias. I really enjoyed it and was so much food. It was four cheese enchiladas with grilled chicken on top followed by a layer of cheese and lettuce. I was stuffed after eating. After having tried several Mexican restaurants in the Jackson/Brandon/Ridgeland area when visiting, I would have to say that it is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area that I have tried thus far. read more

Cazadore's menu had one price, but my ticket had another price. I asked the server about it and all he would say is that was the price in the system. He checked the menu and saw that it had a different price. He said to tell them upfront. I told the cashier about it and she said the same thing about it being the price in the system. She was rude about it. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she did not know who the manager was. When I asked her again, she stated that the manager was busy. Again, refusing to get the manager. I could see the manager and he was not busy. I walked over to him and asked if I could talk to him. He said the same thing and that it was not his fault that the menu had a different price than what rings up in the system. He said I was looking at the lunch menu, but I wasn't. I showed him where I saw the item. Then he said it was a misprint. He also rambled on about the cost of everything going up so the price has to go up. He said I would have to pay what the system said not what was printed on the menu. I suggested that he updates the menu. I paid for my meal and I told him I was disappointed in the customer service that had been provided and he actually said he did not care. read more

Good food. Fast service. Friendly people. Competitively priced. Conveniently located.

They have good food. Good service and they are rarely ever too crowded. Their prices are good too.

Will not be returning!! The owner/front greeter should not be there!!! He is awful! We have put up with it for many visits and for the last time!! my family and I ordered to go and when we went in to pick it up it was wrong and he was really rude about it. He wanted to out the blame on us. Hahaha I'm done with y'all!! I know many other people that have stopped going there because of the rudeness from him and his staff! read more

Wow! Super fast service. Generous portions on the lunch fajitas. Fabulous refried beans. Chicken and beef cut up very small. Very easy to put in super fresh flour tortillas. Chiips and salsa very good. Salsa not to spicy but I wouldn't call it mild either. Will definitely be back. A very nice surprise fir being in a strip mall. read more

Horrible customer service!! Ordered a mango margarita and they brought a lime margarita (which was straight juice) and when I told the waiter he said it was out order and still had to pay for it. Brought it the owner attention and he said oh well still have to pay for it... I don't mind paying for something if it's corrected but not correcting and walking off is extremely horrible service. Also never saw my waiter to ask if our food was good or anything. I will never come back and would never recommend this place. There is so many better options than this place. read more

My family of four adults and two babies went to this location on Friday, July 19th, place was packed, food was good. We all had to go containers, headed to the front to pay for our dinner(which was $90+), while waiting for our other family members, my sister asked me to ask one of the people at the check out for a bag so we can combine our to go containers. When I asked him, he went off, initiall, I didn't understand what he was saying but my sister did. He practically berated my daughter and I because we asked for a bag to put our also $100 dinner in. the whole incident was uncalled for, he was rude and very disrespectful. Once my son in law came up front, he heard how the man, who I now know is the owner, was speaking to us. The owner threatened to call the police but we didn't care cause we did nothing wrong but asked for a plastic bag to put our containers in. We will never eat at this place again. There are many more Mexican restaurants around with much, much better service and food. read more

Food is AMAZING!!! Service is fast and wonderful! A must try if you are looking for good Mexican cuisine

Burritos are good but beans and rice are cold . Needs to be more hot and fresh. Food comes out quick and fast

The best Mexican restaurant in Jackson MS area, if you judge solely by food and service. Cazadores is not much to look at, after all, it is in the corner unit of a strip mall. But the food is authentic, fresh, and delicious. I would prefer it remain our little secret, as it is already too busy on weekend nights. However, it is the least I can do to tell the truth about a truly great food restaurant that I know and love. It is always worth the wait. But you can always call ahead to order takeout! Makes more room for me and my family. read more

Food and service is okay. Every time we dine in or do take out, our service is mediocre and the food is decent. Lately, on our to-go orders, they left off the guacamole. When I inquire about it, they said there is an extra charge for the guac. Everything is going up. read more

For the last few years, this has been my go to restaurant for Mexican cuisine. However, while the food is normally tasty and seasoned properly, the past few visits have been lackluster. But more than the food, the service has been simply awful. During my latest visit, I was disappointed beyond belief. I was set to meet some girlfriends and they told me that they'd been seated at a table in an inconvenient location. They asked the server if they could move to an adjacent booth and the server told them that the front greeter would have to make that decision. I was walking in as this was being said, and I requested the booth seating (as plenty of booths were available). The man told me "no" in an abrupt and rude tone. He continued to say that we just have to sit where we are and fanned me away. I was floored. We decided to move ourselves and was served by a great young server (I wish I could remember his name!) While eating, I observed the greeter (who I assumed to be the owner because he is always there when I visit) be excessively nice to certain people. And there was a couple that was sat in the inconvenient location who asked for another seat, and he obliged this without a second thought. Three stars is generous for the past experiences....especially the very last one. However, it clearly takes into account the years that I chose this restaurant without hesitation as my first choice Mexican restaurant...and the quality service that was provided certain staff. read more
