Good food, great staff, limited seating. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The sandwiches were bread heavy but still very nice. The side portions were surprisingly large. Get the pasta salad. My only issue was seating. Very limited indoor seating. People were standing around eating while an employees friend, with no food, was taking a whole booth. I did get a little annoyed. Good for takeout but don't go there expecting to sit. You may get to but I would not count on it. read more

This used to be one of my favorite lunch spots. The last time my daughter and husband ate here, there was a hair in my daughter's panini. We didn't eat here for about a year. Today we gave it another shot. My veggie panini sandwich had an eyelash on it, which I didn't tell my daughter about or she wouldn't have eaten hers. I stayed quiet and ate the other half of my sandwich. It was soggy. The olive salad must've been too liquidy. On top of that the pasta salad had too much mayo sauce and the pasta had been overcooked so it was kind of gummy. The pasta salad and veggie panini used to be one of my absolute favorite meals. Unfortunately, I won't eat here again. Two strikes, I'm done. It was $39 with tip for two paninis, a cup of soup, and two sides of pasta salad. So disappointed. read more

We used to love Basils and would order pizza to go regularly, but the past few times we have ordered, the pizza is not cooked properly. You can see in the picture that the crust isn't cooked. I'm a big Basils fan - since I found their original Bellhaven location back in 2009. It's convenient to have this location. This is one of my favorite sandwich spots. Oh for the love of the bread! My fav is the grilled chicken & bacon (the Zoey) and I love it old school style - which is replacing the mayo with cream cheese and adding olive salad. Yum. So the food here taste pretty good honestly. It's really overpriced but, it's honestly decent unlike Roosters. To that end, with Pizza shack down the street and Sal and Mookies around the corner, this place with it's meh portions can't really hold a candle with anything on the menu.
