And the seasonings were perfect. Husband and I went bunless, which was a smart choice because it was so filling and we definitely needed room for the fries! Our 12 year old is a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur and he said it was a perfect blend of quality and quantity. He ate all but four bites. (Took the pic on the road so it's a bit blurry.) Our 9 year old didn't order there because he's not a burger guy, but he really loved the friendliness of the staff and the other patrons. The onion rings were thin, crispy, and really good. My daughter got the chicken tenders and they were massive. I mean actually massive. More importantly, they were delicious. The fries were hand cut and just as good. Service was friendly, the place had a cool neighborhood feel, and it filled up fast. Parking is definitely at a premium, so get there early if you can or be prepared to wait a little. This is one of those places we probably would not have found if everything had gone according to plan, and now I'm really glad it didn't. So thank you to whoever forgot to pay the water bill at Pig & Pint. Just kidding. Thank you to whatever public works person accidentally broke the main water supply and sent us down the road. Because Rooster's is legit, and we'll absolutely be back.
