Not whole wings anymore. Huge downgrade. Not bad if you like them that way though. Just wings, nothing special. Catfish? It was OK. Fell apart on me. Not crispy. Kinda bland. They don't out the seasoning on them like he did. They're only 2-3 blocks from my office so I'll go try a couple more things to see what they're like. Won't be wings or catfish showing. Now if you lived up north - then you are used to multi-menu diners run by Lebanese, Jordanian, Greek business owners - with the basic items on the menu such as Fried fish and chicken, fried oysters and shrimps, buffalo wings, Philly cheese steaks. Italian Beefs, Gyros, and other items like Nachos and chef salads. Now I am starting to see them come down south - especially in the Memphis area (Sharks and Captain JJ's are staples in the Memphis Market) and now Jackson has E-Zee Fish and Chicken and Fat Albert's on Beasley. I like country fried whole chicken wings and not to many places sell them as an item on the menu and places like E-Zee, Sharks, and Captain JJ's has made them a staple item on their menu's. I love the #21 Combo - where you get 10 whole chicken wings, 6 pieces of fish (catfish, pan trout, tilapia or perch) a heaping of fries, half loaf of bread and two drinks for $25. The chicken is solid, the fish is fried up pretty good too. But we are fans of the fried chicken at E-Zee, they do a good job and they have a good mild sauce you can request on the side. The only drawback - the Italian Beef does not compare to the good ones I've had in other locations - due to size and price. All in all - its a solid location for fried fish and chicken. read more

Great restaurant! Come check them out! Everything can be ordered halal except the "Italian Beef" and "Pizza Puff Beef or Spinach." This is great for those with dietary restrictions. The food is absolutely tasty. I enjoyed every bite! Do call ahead because they cook everything fresh. Although it's primarily a take out joint it's a little higher than typical take out food. Worth it though! Now for my complaint! I spent darn near $30 in this place and asked for a cup of ice. I was charged .75 cents. I was shocked, and asked why. It's because the ice machine cost $400 to repair according to the owner. Now I don't run a business of this sort, but an ice machine is a foundational requirement in my opinion along with the maintenance and operational budget. Somehow I would have added that in hidden costs rather than go through an absurd explanation and negatively impact customer service. read more

This place is amazing. I almost didn't stop but I am so glad I did. Between three of us we had the gyro wrap, hamburger, gizzards and shrimp poboy. We also got some baklava to go. Not everyone should make fried chicken. It was bland. Adding salt after it's cooked didn't help much; hopefully, they'll start adding seasoning to the chicken and flour, or at least brine the meat first. read more

This place has been for us a most welcome addition to our neighborhood. We love the variety of options, especially when one of us is in the mood for chicken while the other wants a gyro or Philly steak sandwich. Everything is cooked to order, and we especially like the grilled mixed veggies they offer as an alternative to fries. Portions are quite generous as well. It's also the only place close by that offers fried and grilled seafood, including shrimp, oysters, and several kinds of fish. Best of all for us is that we can patronize and support a locally owned restaurant! read more
