Limited dining, but excellent service. Pick up is recommend. Order ahead. Cooked to order!

Now if you lived up north - then you are used to multi-menu diners run by Lebanese, Jordanian, Greek business owners - with the basic items on the menu such as Fried fish and chicken, fried oysters and shrimps, buffalo wings, Philly cheese steaks. Italian Beefs, Gyros, and other items like Nachos and chef salads. Now I am starting to see them come down south - especially in the Memphis area (Sharks and Captain JJ's are staples in the Memphis Market) and now Jackson has E-Zee Fish and Chicken and Fat Albert's on Beasley. I like country fried whole chicken wings and not to many places sell them as an item on the menu and places like E-Zee, Sharks, and Captain JJ's has made them a staple item on their menu's. I love the #21 Combo - where you get 10 whole chicken wings, 6 pieces of fish (catfish, pan trout, tilapia or perch) a heaping of fries, half loaf of bread and two drinks for $25. The chicken is solid, the fish is fried up pretty good too. But we are fans of the fried chicken at E-Zee, they do a good job and they have a good mild sauce you can request on the side. The only drawback - the Italian Beef does not compare to the good ones I've had in other locations - due to size and price. All in all - its a solid location for fried fish and chicken.

All items except those crossed off can be ordered halal!

Great restaurant! Come check them out! Everything can be ordered halal except the "Italian Beef" and "Pizza Puff Beef or Spinach." This is great for those with dietary restrictions. Sweet couple that lived previously in Chicago. They are bringing some great options to the Jackson community. Give them a try!

Front counter/lobby, easy to read menu items with pictures. Nice and clean.

Nice clean restaurant with good food, I've tried them and found them to be consistent and friendly.

Okay. This is our first time. The fried pickles didn't look that good but they actually are. The onion rings on the other hand.... YUCK! Worst I've ever had. Other than that they were very nice. The 20 piece shrimp is also pretty good. We will most likely be back soon.

I visited E-Zee's for the first time on 1/2/2016 and it was good. The place seemed clean and the lady that took my order was friendly. I ordered 20 whole fried chicken wings to go. I didn't have to wait long, they were seasoned good also. I plan to visit this place again.

We just enjoyed a very tasty grilled tilapia, rice, and vegetable meal. Come experience wonderfully cooked fresh cuisine!!

The food was not seasoned. They sprinkle seasoning over the platter of food. We had whole catfish, wings, and fries. Disappointed

My husband's drink was huge and my Chai tea was . exceptional--the tea stood out from the spices--making me realize I need to upscale my brand of chai. The samosas were homemade and delicious, The chef stopped by and based on his recommendation, I ordered the Stir Fry Eggplant. It was wonderful. (I just ate leftover eggplant for lunch, and it was even better the second day.) Beautiful blend of spices; I imagine I'll be craving a repeat soon. We shared 2 additional entrees: tandoori chicken and chicken Shahi Korma. My husband liked these meat dishes. but in my opinion, Indian cuisine shines brightest in the vegetarian options. Next visit: Palak Paneer & Aloo Baigan Madala.

The restaurant was slightly dim. I liked that. I don't like very bright establishments. The buffet was off near a wall. There was light music playing. The atmosphere was relaxed and nice. The restaurant was extremely clean. I ordered the Chicken Biryani (forgive me if I've spelled it wrong. I can never remember the spelling) and samosas. The chicken biryani was $17.99 and the samosas were $6.99. There was a considerable wait. I was there for a while. Its probably better to call in or place your order online first. The Chicken Biryani was different than what I'm use to. There was quite a bit of thin brown liquid at the bottom of the rice and I did not like that at all. The plate tipped and the liquid all poured out into the bag. The biryani was good. I had it with medium spice. However I did feel the sauce could have been thicker. I'm use to having it with either a thick sauce almost like a stew that comes with it as well as bigger pieces of meat. However this Biryani was different in that the meat was almost like a minced meat. There were tiny pieces of finely chopped chicken. Not those larger pieces I'm accustomed to that's served at Spice Avenue off of I55 in Jackson. So the juice at the bottom of the bowl and the tiny minced pieces of chicken I wish were different. I also wish the dish would have had a lot more of a robust flavor. When you mix in all that liquid it kills some of the spices. I've had biryani dishes that were bursting with flavor. This dish was good. But something was lacking. I'm sure it was the meat and the lack of a robust stewed like sauce with the meat. The meat in their biryani tasted like it was boiled in a flavorful water. Not stewed in a thick hearty robust sauce. The samosas were ok. I'm use to them having more flavor as well. I mean they were good in a way but the taste was a little off (I'm not sure where the tartness or the very slight vinegar taste comes from) and they also used a seasoning I'm not familiar with. So I ate one and had no interest in eating the other two. Also, the samosas could have used a bit more spice. Last, the young girl serving at the front did fine. She was attentive. I tipped her $3.00 cash. But she had a very peculiar way about her. As I was swiping my card I looked up suddenly and I caught her eyes. She was staring intensely at me and the look wasn't pleasant. It was a dirty look. Almost as if she was put off by me taking so long to swipe my card. You know the look when someone mean mugs you. When our eyes met she suddenly smiled awkwardly and the smile did not appear genuine at all. However I overlooked her and took a seat to wait on my meal. When one of the door dash workers came in I also caught that nasty glimpse from her staring at the door dash driver. I was watching her intensely at this point and I was watching her eyes. The eyes are the gateway to the soul. Or, as I would like to think, the heart. If you're a hostile, mean, nasty person.. it's hard to hide this in the eyes. I don't know this young lady. Again she was attentive. But the look she gave me (before quickly and awkwardly smiling at me when I caught it) and the door dasher tells me in my gut she's probably not a very kind person. Or she's condescending at the least. Overall I give the food and service a three.

Samila Thai Cuisine - Thai fried rice with shrimp added a side of egg rolls

Overall 3.75 Stars…read more After an all day conference in Jackson, we wanted to get some food and this restaurant popped up in my feed to try in Richland. Having only 30 reviews and all 5 stars, I was curious on why that was the case. Located in a building with another restaurant and nail salon, the building itself was just a normal tan building. Nothing special, however when you walked in, you were transported to the southern hemisphere of Thailand where the warm ocean breeze sway your worries away. Boy, I sound like a song. Ambiance : 4 Stars - there are enough seating at each table to accommodate 4-8 people - Bench or Table style. Decor had Thailand pictures, plants, and etc. Service - 5 Stars our only server was very pleasant, easy to talk to, efficient, and very alert to make sure your drink was full or remove your empty dishes away. My wife and I enjoyed Thai food and we had questions because some of the dishes were slightly different than what we were use too. He answered all of our questions. Food: 3.25 - 3.75 Stars The food itself was good but not great because the seasoning was very light for Thailand food. Our server said they wanted the people to enhance their meal by adding other flavors to the dish. The answer was a SAFE answer. Authentic food should have the flavors of that region. I say, " be bold and confident in your dish". If the people don't like it, they can order something else. Of course I didn't say that to the server or Auntie who prepared our meals because I didn't want to get stuck in the kitchen cleaning dirty pots and pans. Hahah! With that note, upon our request, our server did bring out chili oil, chili red pepper and crush, dry Thai peppers. and Nuoc Mam (Vietnamese Fish Sauce) so we may "doctored" our dishes. We ordered the following. Appetizers Chicken Larb - 3.75 Stars. The chicken was finely diced and sautéed with onions and had some Thai seasoning. It was served with a healthy portion of green leaf lettuce and whole salted cashews. It was good and flavorful but as good as Beef Larb. NOTE: BEEF LARB is not on the menu which is a bummer because it is a staple Thai food. Maybe they don't have it because the price of beef has gone up tremendously. Also, they don't have Beef Crying Tiger too. Bummer Thai Chicken Skewers- 3.25 Stars The chicken was coated with a yellow curry and possible coconut milk than pan fried in oil. It was served with a yummy peanut sauce. It was ok. The chicken was a little dry when biting into it and the yellow curry flavor was mild. I wish it was grilled and had some tamarind and fish sauce on it too. Main Dishes: Pad Thai - with chicken 3.5 Stars it was large portion. My wife definitely had left overs. She said it was good but was missing the tamarind sauce, citric acid and palm sugar. We don't like it sweet but the palm sugar brings out the other flavors of the dish. Now, after she "doctored" it, she really enjoyed her dish. Red Curry Pan Seared Salmon w veggies and rice - 3.5 Stars. I had mixed feeling with this dish. The pan seared Salmon was perfectly cooked, seasoned well and has a crusty seared on it. It was layered on top of steamed veggies in a red curry sauce. I was disappointed with the red curry sauce and the steamed veggies. It lacked flavor. Also, I thought the dish was going to be served in bowl with "stewed veggies" but it wasn't. Each item were layered separately. Steamed veggies on the plate, covered with the red curry sauce then finally layered with the seared salmon. Rice was served in a separate bowl. My expectations were not met when I saw the dish. Also, the red curry sauce was bland but after I added Thai seasoning, fish sauce, lime wedge, and chili oil it was better. So, do I recommend this place? The answer is "Yes". The server and auntie are pleasant and their southern regional Thai food are good. The atmosphere is laid back and has a very positive vibe. Though the restaurant wasn't too busy inside, I observed they have alot of loyal customers who ordered takeouts or sat at their tables to dine with them. I definitely will come back to try their Papaya Salad and Pad See Ew.
