Take out. First time at Asian Kitchen in Ridgeland, MS. We usually go to the same place for Chinese fast food, so we looked up if there were anywhere new to try. This place came up, since we haven't been... why not? We ordered a large combination lo mein, general tsao chicken (extra crispy), wonton soup, sweet and spicy garlic wings with shrimp fried rice. The bag was hefty, so I knew the portions would be big before even opening it . Their portions were very generous, general tsao was crispy, lo mein noodles still had a nice chew to it, wonton soup needed a tad more flavor, but wontons itself was plump and plentiful. 6 piece large wings came with fried rice, upgrade it to shrimp fried rice and you got yourself a huge box of food for $11! Definitely my top 3 places for Chinese fast food around the Jackson metro. It won't let me check in or tag them for some reason.

Stopped by Asian Kitchen when they first opened. Conveniently located on the border of NE Jackson and Ridgeland, off of Countyline Rd and Wheatley. We tried the combination fried rice, combination egg foo young, combination, lo mein, and lemon pepper wings. Service was courteous and prompt. The prices were decent. Food was decent., not bad. But nothing really exceptional compared to the other Asian restaurants in the area.

Delish!! I got the fried dumplings and $10 black pepper chicken dinner special. 1-that's a ton of food for $10. Easily could have fed two people, possibly 3. Best black pepper chicken I've ever had. Dumplings were great too! Service was fast and friendly. Will come back every time I come to town. Only downside is it is drive thru only.

Good food slow drive thru best to call your order in before you go to pick it up. The chilli paste is to die for.

The food reflects that same attention. The spring rolls were fresh, crisp, and beautifully balanced, packed with clean flavors and paired with a sauce that actually complements instead of overpowering. They're the kind of appetizer you finish too fast and immediately wish you'd ordered another plate. The pho is where Pho Huong really shows its heart. The broth is clear, fragrant, and deeply satisfying without being heavy. Everything tastes fresh, from the herbs to the proteins, and the bowl feels thoughtfully assembled rather than rushed. We were the last table for lunch service, and our waiter J D was kind and considerate. The wasabi tobiko roll is a must have, and we had great dynamite, fried soft shell, and vegetable rolls as well. I am not usually a fan of veggie rolls, but The pickled burdock Edo uses in their vegetable rolls is a game-changer. Yaki soba with steak was solid, no complaints there. The location was decently decorated and seemed to be clean and it wasn't too noisy for our table of four to eat and have conversation without competing with neighboring tables overall, a fantastic experience, price and value were definitely good. After looking over the menu, I was impressed with the selection of meat and vegetables included in the buffet, more than similar Korean buffets I have been to. I also liked the number of available sauces to further season the food. Service was fast and efficient. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken and filled shortly afterward. Staff was really friendly and helpful when we had questions. Soon, our order of meats and veggies arrived and the cooking began. The containers tend to take a fair amount of space on the already small tables so keep that in mind if you order a wide variety of meats. We had to stack the containers as we cooked the meat but the server removed them pretty quickly. One really neat feature of the tables I enjoyed was a plate warmer at each seat location, at least in the booths. That helped keep the cooked meat warm while waiting for the other cooking food to complete. Very nice touch. I will definitely return the next time. I'm in town.

I opted for the lunch special, which didn't feel like much of a "special" since it still cost over $20. I chose the hibachi lunch with shrimp and scallops, and received three shrimp, three scallops, fried rice, and veggies. It also came with miso soup, but I didn't enjoy it as it was way too salty. They did offer the option to have my food cooked in front of me on the grill or served in a booth. Next time, I'll choose the grill option to ensure the rice is fresh, as the rice I had tasted a bit stale--though I should mention I arrived about 40 minutes before they closed for lunch. I also ordered the Goya roll, which my waiter said was the most popular. He seemed to assume I wanted something fried, but we all know great sushi is raw and rolled, so the roll wasn't necessary. The shrimp was overcooked, and the rice didn't taste fresh, but overall, the meal was decent. However, I didn't feel it was worth the price for lunch. If I return, I'll try a different sushi roll and have them cook my food in front of me.
