The catfish plate and chicken dinner plates are classics, and the portions are HUGE. You definitely won't leave hungry! The location is convenient, right on Pearson Road, which is one of the main roads through Pearl. There's indoor seating as well as an outdoor seating area under a covered awning. Inside is casual and comfortable, with the walls covered in photos and memorabilia featuring local people and Jackson-area history. It gives the restaurant a lot of personality. If you're looking for a locally owned place with big portions, good food, and genuinely friendly service, Frisco Deli is a great lunch spot in Pearl.

The location may have changed but something that has not is the quality of food and service. I have been ordering the exact thing for years and it's as delicious today as it was in 1986 We moved away from Pearl in 2018 so I rarely get over here. I was excited to see the line was not backed out to the street since it was 1030 so I grabbed my turkey and provolone on an onion roll with mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, warm. The fries were extremely fresh and hot. The sandwich was amazing. And to top it off is the service. They have always had the friendliest people who make you feel better when you leave than when you arrived. Through the years and when the kids were little, we enjoyed their chicken tenders, and I have also had the ribs. I've never had anything from there that was not delicious and fresh. There's nothing like a family owned business that has been around for years and still serving up quality and great service The inside is always super clean and even though there is a line at the drive-in, it moves quickly The very fact that all of their employees have worked for them for double digit years speaks volumes to the character of these owners

I have never eaten at a Schlotzsky's, but decided to try it after a friend highly recommended it. I…read morelove a good salad, but the one I had here was not enjoyable. I got the strawberry chicken salad, which is usually one of my favorites. This one was by far one of the worst I've ever had. To start, the little bit of chicken that was on there seemed like the leftovers from what they had after they made sandwiches. It was very lacking in flavor. The balsamic vinaigrette (which I usually love) was very bitter and had the worst flavor. They really need to change that recipe! The pecans were supposed to be "candied", which really elevates the flavors of a strawberry salad. There were very few, and they were not candied, but just regular salted tiny pieces. Overall the combination of all the flavors just didn't work, and made for a boring tastebud experience. IF I ever go back I'll try something else. As far as the service, that was disappointing too. The young lady at the register was very nice, but everyone else could really use some customer service training. After eating, I went back to the counter to get a to-go box. I stood there for 3-4 minutes, and had numerous employees walk right past me and not even make eye contact. Even the manager that was in the kitchen making food looked over at me and said nothing. I was trying to wait patiently, but after a few minutes, I finally flagged someone down to get the to-go box. It doesn't seem like they care much about the customer experience, and that usually makes up for lackluster food.

Very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Mike got the loaded Philly but subbed jalapeños for the bell peppers. He left off the cheese sauce and added extra provolone. He lovessssss a good Philly. It was very hot and fresh. The meat was chopped so much that it almost seemed like ground beef. It lacked the flavor he was hoping for. The fries are no longer hand cut as the menu on Facebook says. We think they should offer to sub hand cut fries for an extra charge to make up for the hard work. Some folks don't mind frozen fries but we love a good hand cut fry. We will go back and try a burger next time. Stay tuned for a smash burger update. We really hope they are successful as they are such a great family and are working hard.

To get to this location which is on the southeast corner of Highway 80 and 49 in Jackson, Mississippi, turn in like you're entering the Sutherland's Home Improvement store, but then hang a hard right and you'll see it straight ahead. Turn in to the second driveway for their parking lot or drive through. The entrance has a ramp but could be challenging for some people in wheelchairs or who are handicapped. I have some family members who would have difficulty getting in. See the picture I posted for reference, and you can determine if you can get in or need to stick to the drive through. After looking over their menu, I finally decided to get the chicken finger tacos with the chipotle ranch sauce and pico de gallo. They are made with flour tortillas which I found to be rather blah (I'm used to home-made or at least really good flour tortillas in my hometown which is 95% Hispanic). Thankfully, the chicken fingers were generous, hot, and tasty. I would have enjoyed a bit more of the sauce. It was not spicy at all. The pico de gallo was passing. Again, I've had the best elsewhere, so I'm a bit picky. Overall, the food was pretty good. It was a reasonable price. The food was served in styrofoam, disposable containers. The drink station had soft drinks and fresh brewed iced tea. The young lady who took my order was friendly, as was the manager who offered to clear my table of the tray and empty food container when I had finished. I would try Zaxby's again, but I would want to get something other than the tacos next time.
