Always have loved firehouse. The group of young girls in here tonight had me absolutely frustrated. I've never seen people move slower and not seem to care at all for customers waiting 20+ minutes for a sandwich. Just chatting and stopping what they're doing every few minutes to chat. Shout out to Ariel and Briana. My colleague and I popped in about 10 minutes before closing (which we both felt really bad about but we were starving). Any who... we were expecting the whole "we're closing try to run them off" routine. Instead we were welcomed and diligently assisted in making our decisions meatball sub and brisket and cheddar. Believe it or not, the food was fresh and hot. Other than the new free style coke cola machine doesn't hold a lot of ice, it was super awesome. Can't beat a place with awesome people. Placed an order for delivery about an hour ago. Ordered a 3-4 inch sub for myself, it looked tiny when I opened the box. (My son's was supposed to be a 7-8 inch sub and it was 7 inches on the dot). My sub was BARELY 3 inches; I measured them both. These subs are about ten bucks a pop, so it's RIDICULOUS to shorten them that much. We will NEVER order from Farmhouse Subs again, very disappointed. read more

The subs are great and I still love a Hook & Ladder sandwich, but this particular location is just ok. Mostly teens work here and they are pretty slow moving. You can tell they really don't want to be here. If they would just move a little faster, the line wouldn't get nearly as backed up. They are all friendly and nice... just really slow. Usually I don't have the time or the patience for slow. So that's why this Firehouse is just "ok" in my book. I tend to avoid this Firehouse when visiting because I can always get a Hook & Ladder from many different locations back home in FL where the employees actually move at a decent speed. Really wanted a steak and cheese sandwich and wanted to see what they had to offer. They are o.k. - not bad, but o.k.. I wish the sandwiches were a little bigger - but its a franchise business. Service was decent - young man that made my sandwiches was very cordial and respectful - but I came 30 minutes before closing so those kids were ready to get out of there. I stopped here the other day and it was just as good as ever. We ate here today for our second time. Hands down it beats Subway!! You get a lot better sandwich with a lot better tasting meat with fresher veggies. A bigger sub with a better price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a question and the manager actually came to our table to help me. That is rare to get help like this. This was my first time having a sub in a while cause was doing a low carb thing, anyways was very good, and had the melted cheese with mushrooms, the gentleman also confused my order which was sort of a mutual mix up based on the menu no error on his part and gave me the combo anyways. They were very courteous I wish remembered the young mans name cause he should get a raise. He was a caucasian fellow with a stocky build i think. Said good bye when I left even.
