Saw a sign for a deli spot. That wasn't the normal subway or jimmy johns that we have back from where we are from. The place was bigger than I thought. Some odd reason, the place comes up on my swarm app as a food truck. It's not, but it's an actual sit down restaurant with outdoor and indoor seatings. They have a salad bar as well. I loved the tea area you had black current and sweet with real cane sugar. I did their mix n match. Which entails a half sandwich, fruit, soup, chips or salad. I chose the Carmella sandwich which was good. Very pack full with meat. I was shocked I didn't taste the Spicey picadillo sauce. I guess it was because it also had mayo. I paired this with half a tomato bisque soup, was good and a bowl of fruit. ( strawberry, pineapple, and grapes) with a dipping sauce. My husband had the full Sicilian sandwich with chips. He said it was good. Prices are a little steep but it beat having something we have back home. Staff was friendly and helpful. I am not sure what apps they use in the ladies room, but it smelled good. My only takeaway was their music that was playing. Not everyone has a knack for Christian music, but maybe if they played a soft rock alternative mix and not just the one station. It's nice to have a blend. read more

We ate at Jason's for lunch on Thursday, March 5th. Service was slow and it was not crowded. It was a little before 11am. Ambiance was lacking. The employees seemed angry about something. The food was mediocre. This is NOT the same Jason's that was in North Jackson several years ago. So disappointed. Won't be going back. read more

We always get salad bar in one of the few restaurants around where we can get vegetables. We were horrified to find a few limp pieces of lettuce and some slimy spinach. The hummus bowl was scraped clean, and this is what I use for a high protein dressing. No olive oil either! I asked for the oil and the attendant pointed to the bottles of hot sauce and said that is all the oil they have. Hot sauce? No fresh black pepper. No spoons for ice cream. The attendant was very busy, just not enough help I guess. This is the worst Jason's experience I've ever had. I won't be back if this is the new Jason's. So sad there is no place left to eat here. read more

I always enjoy the Reuben here. Have tried the club, which was ok. Service is good. I can't help but compare this restaurant to the old one that closed in Jackson. They are not there yet. The portions seem considerably smaller too. read more

A great alternative to greasy fast food. Good selection on the salad bar but the old location that used to be in Jackson had a bigger salad bar. My kids love the ice cream machine. read more

We have given this place several tries. The food is good, but not worth putting p with rude and lazy customer service. Dirty tables, the ice cream station has trash all arond. I finally got uup and threw the trash away while workers just watched. Out food just sits at the counter waiting for one of the 7 workers to pick it up and bring it to us. I just went and got it. The table behind us just went and got theirs also. (I dont have a problem doing that, they just need to call our umber out if they are not going to bring it to the table). My husband always asks for potato salad and they never bring it to him. The sad thing is the 2 managers have been there most of the times we tried it, and they just either are clueless or dont care. When we walk in, the waitress looks miffed she has to take our order. No welcome, no smile. If you go later in the day, everything is trashed...salad bar, tables, ice cream station. Ugh! I just dont get it. Last Saturday us and 1 other family were there before 11. There were 7-8 workers. It took forever for our food to be ready and we finally went up to the counter and got it ourselves. When they do bring it, it is the wrong thing, missing silverware, etc. No apology, not even the least bit cordial. Again, the food is good, but the service and cleanliness is horrible. I was SO EXCITED to visit Jason's Deli in Madison, MS. I have missed eating at Jason's since it closed down in Jackson. So on Saturday, March 16 at 4:50, my family and I stopped to eat. It was NOT what I expected from Jason's Deli AT ALL. I was SO disappointed. When we go there and walked up to the register, one of the employees who was clearly on break was standing at the register digging through her makeup bag and putting on gloss. She didn't acknowledge that we were standing there. Another young lady walked up and my mother spoke to them both and they ignored us and kept on talking and taking care of the employee's lunch order, all the while the line was backing up. All of this was going on as two managers were near by and did nothing. Then, when our food was brought to us, the young lady slid two soup spoons to us on the bare table. She didn't hand them to us or wrap them in a napkin before sliding them across the table. There were two employees by the bathroom talking and scrolling through their phones. Then they both peered through the kitchen door window, I am assuming looking for a manager to see if they were missed or going to get caught. The ice cream is one of my FAVS at Jason's Deli, but the ice cream machine was COMPLETELY out of ice cream. When I went to inform an employee she shrugged her shoulders at me and showed ZERO concern that NO ONE could get ice cream. Many people were talking about it to each other. There was a young man cleaning tables and he was so nice and was working very hard to make sure the tables were clean etc. I have to say, I don't think I will be back anytime soon. Our order was almost $100. The food was good, but the employees and managers were unconcerned. read more

Jason's Deli is traditionally a good place to eat (other locations), but not this one. The staff suffers from a serious condition called "not my job" and "not my problem." Any time I order take-out, there's no one helping in the pickup area. It should be a simple in-and-out process that should take 2 minutes. I shouldn't have to look at four employees in the eyes, who are "too busy" to be concerned. I literally have to flag down an employee multiple times, just to get someone to help. And then it shouldn't take another five minutes to find my online order. And then that order is never right. I have to unload and check everything before I leave, because inevitably, something has been left out. I give this location a year before it closes. read more

So disappointed all three times I've eaten at this fairly new location. Prices are about 40% higher than when it was located on County Line Road but portions smaller. Service is slow and servers don't seem to care about providing the items needed when delivering your order (soup spoon). I've given it a fair shot and won't feel guilty avoiding this place in the future. read more
