Finally, she looks up and says "for here or to go." I told her I had changed my mind and as I exited the store she said with a surely smart a** tone: "have a nice day." I don't need to spend $15 for a late lunch and be treated in this manner. I eat lunch out almost every day. This Firehouse is off the list. Who needs it? read more

Tonight was fun! My husband and I are exhausted after a long day of work and wanted something simple for dinner. I did an online order and specifically asked for no Mayo and no Pickles on his sub. What do they do? Cover the sandwich with Mayo and he couldn't even wipe it off. He's immediately turned off and is no longer hungry. It's now 8:30 at night and I'm disappointed because I just spent $30 dollars for us to have a simple meal after a long day. I just wanted a refund so I called the store and the lady said I have to bring the sub back. Ok well it's 8:30 at night we are exhausted and I just wanted a refund on his sub only. She responds No you have it bring it back and that she needs the receipt. Don't you have it from my online order? Along with the directions on how to prepare it? NOPE I have to physically bring back the sandwich and the copy of the receipt back and then I can get a refund she says.. (this location takes 20 mins) I told her I'm off on Monday and she said that works. Now I have to go there on my day off with a moldy sandwich I guess when the manager could have done her job correctly and followed the directions on the online order to avoid a situation like this. I am VERY disappointed and won't goto this location ever again. I love fire house subs but the Customer service was a zero and it's now not worth my time or money. Who ever was the on duty manager tonight at the Grandview location if you're reading this I hope you know you provided the worst customer service! Good job on losing a customer. read more

Could barely understand the lady taking my order because of the mask in her mouth. It's long past time to put those in the trash.

After my order, I kindly gave an extra 2 dollars for our great first responders. Then they gave me a water cup for free and said that both their cups are over $2 which is over priced. High priced light on the meat no one cares at all nothing but diet drinks an a machine that does them all. So next call no tea. Lol. Geese it's 6.30 on a Wednesday. Wow. I don't think I've seen a dirtier restaurant in my life. I know it gets busy and sometimes things can get messy but there were 5-6 employees and it wasn't too busy. Condiments spilled all over the floors, trash overflowing and falling onto floor. So disappointing to see this type of establishment in Madison. read more

Be Cautious when ordering Firehouse through the Waitr app! They do not give you what you order- I ordered via Waitr app. One of my sandwiches was completely wrong. I also ordered chips X2 and a 20 oz drink which where not delivered to me. I called the store to see what could be done to rectify the situation and was told that I could either 1. Have them remake the sandwiches and come get them (what's the point of that? I ordered delivery for a reason!) or 2. Contact Waitr. I have contacted Waitr and they are refunding my money.
