Well, I guess it would be nice to get the correct order when I come here. Luckily I always check my order before leaving. The first time I let it go and just said it's human error. But today they didn't put chicken on my sandwich. Seriously, it was just bread and the other things that come on the sandwich, not one ounce of chicken. When I brought it to there attention I was brought chicken but it was in a cup. I just took it and assembled the sandwich myself. This is not about the food. You know, sandwiches and stuff. I went in for a cappuccino & cinnamon roll. It's Panera BREAD. As in bakery. Very few people there. No one waiting at the counter. Some one walked by but they kept going. About a five minute wait before someone came to take my order. The cinnamon roll was on par with a grocery store bakery. The cappuccino is made by a push button machine, and it's a latte, not a cappuccino. I'm really tired of asking for "a traditional cappuccino, easy on the milk," and getting a latte. And not good lattes at that. Other countries know how to make expresso drinks. Why can't Americans? Now for the fun stuff. The kitchen area was disorganized, cluttered, and dirty looking. The staff was the same. The two I talked to were nice enough. Would I recommend? NO! Will I go back? NO, I'll drink water out of a ditch before I see the inside of Panera Bread again. I came in to work on school stuff and I was very unhappy that the internet was so slow I couldn't do my work because images wouldn't load. This Panera also has a very odd, moldy, and dirty smell inside as well. It just looks like the management isn't paying attention to cleaning inside. I won't be back. I wanted soup and Panera has great tomato soup. Just the right amount for lunch. It comes with a small baguette piece. I also had the blood orange lemonade. If you like blood oranges I recommend this. Just the right tartness. My wife has the broccoli cheese soup and sandwich and said it was good. I hate to give such a poor rating to a chain that is so loved by its groupies but this was not a good experience at all. To start they got the order wrong. Then it took several minutes to get someone to pay attention and offer to fix it. It was nice that they offered a "treat to eat" while the order was being fixed but not as nice when no one actually gave it to me. Price is an issue too. The portion sizes are a little on the small side while the prices are on the "holy crap did I just pay $15 for a sandwich combo??" $30 for a lunch date with my wife seems steep. Then again I thought, "The way people are freaking out about us getting a Panera means the food is going to change the way I feel about sandwiches." It did the opposite actually. It was bland. Bland bland bland. Nothing had any taste at all. The Turkey avocado BLT tasted like nothing at all. Even the bacon was tasteless. For desert we had a cinnamon roll. It was all bread. My family and I eat pretty healthy so we literally live off of Panera. When I lived in Cali that's what I usually eat every other day. When I found out that they were opening here in MS I was ecstatic! I am a loyal customer, I came at the crack of dawn when they opened and was one of the first 50 people to get free meal cards from Panera. Ever since I've been using my card to spread the word. Sharing it with family, friends, employees and volunteers at various charity events. I think I build a new following of Panera loyalists haha. Everyone there is amazing, friendly and helpful. I used to be an area manager in Cali for Tesco and Ross and worked as a recruitment manager as well, so I know a little about hiring the right people...Zach is wonderful at his job, he's very personable. A great asset to the company, good investment Panera! I have to say that the last two times that I ran into the other manager, not gonna put his name, but it wasn't as pleasant. This is why I'm writing an update review. Everytime I use the free meal card, I keep tab of how many punches I still have left. The first time I noticed was when I ordered 3 meals and he crossed out 5. I didn't mention it, because it was probably an honest mistake, right? Then tonight I came by, ordered 4 meals, he crossed out 6, alright...I drove off and it just bothered me because he was being dishonest. I won't say anything, I'll just take a pic of my punch card so I'd have proof if he tries to pull another one of those moves again. We eat at Panera all over the country on our travels. This one may have been having a bad night but I will avoid this location in the future. It was 4PM and not busy so we were surprised at the slow service. They were nice however. The salads were a little wilted and the avocado was really brown-I had to set them aside. I wouldn't ever serve something like that to a customer. Also we chose to eat on the patio which is semi closed in. During our meal we were entertained by two huge cockroaches that were walking around near us. We shooed them away repeatedly but one eventually flew onto our table! Aggressive! I'm 68, and customer service is king with food quality second. Good customer service is rare, too often making a customer feel as if they're inconveniencing the staff. I've been in to this Panera several times and each time greeted cheerfully by a young lad (Chandler?). Efficient, courteous, and each time making me feel like I am his most important customer. I have been to this location several times. The service and staff are friendly. I like many options on the Panera menu including their salads and sandwiches. I prefer most of my meals to be vegetarian so it's easy to pick whichever sandwich you want and opt out of taking the meat and substituting other vegetables. I love the pesto garden vegetable soup as well. Their bakery is fairly tasty and I do enjoy their bread. I would recommend this location for good service and if you haven't had Panera it's a good soup/salad/sandwich place. read more

We love this Panera bread!! We are coffee subscribers and it's amazing. The staff always has our coffee ready when we pull up with a smile on their faces. They have all become a great part of my day Seth went ABOVE AND BEYOND one day to help me. I came in with my baby in his carseat and trying to carry coffees out so he walked me to my car holding the coffees for me, helped me get settled, and then handed me our coffees! I've really tried to like this place, but I've had 3 bad experiences in a row. I went this morning to try and get a souffle. The drive through line had several cars, so I figured I'd go in. 10 minutes later I decided to leave. When I walked in there were 2 other people in line ahead of me and 2 registers open! I can understand if something was going wrong, but everyone was just being lazy and slow. The manager finally came out, but he looked like he had just gotten up from a nap. The guy ahead of me ordered a souffle and was sold one, however, they didn't have any left, so when he inquired about it, they told him it would be 20 minutes. This place has the worst service of any restaurant in Flowood. On other occasions, the coffee has been cold, the wifi didn't work, and I got a panini there that literally had one little chicken strip on it. For instance I was meeting a group here to discuss a few things and one of the staff members asked if we would like some complimentary cookies or scones! It was okay. The most significant issue is their bread. It is the bread equivalent of beef jerky. I literally just soaked in in my soup. My other issue is their portion sizes. For nearly $20 I could have had a real meal (rather than a fist sized sandwich half and literally one cup of soup) elsewhere. Won't be back if I can help it. read more

So glad they opened this in flowood. However, caution when purchasing any discount cards. THERE IS ALWAYS A CATCH. Purchased a 52 meal card and every time I have tried to use at both locations they either do the know what to do, or mark something that is not correct. Apparently the souffles are not a bakery item and count as an entree (the manager also began describing the ingredients saying eggs are not sweet so they don't consider it a bakery item)!! Stopped to get a loaf of their Honey Wheat bread and bagels, they had one loaf of bread and maybe 6 bagels. My server Octavia was very helpful and polite. However, bread was not fresh it was hard throughout , possibly a couple days old. Very disappointed in this location. Supposedly their bread truck had not run. This was our very first visit to Panera. The service was great and the cashier was very knowledgable and helpful. The food was delicious. The portions were perfect. The food came out timely and was the perfect temperature. The bread was so good. I can not emphasize this enough. The rest of the food was very good too. Our only complaints are things that Panera probably really has no control over. We did not like having to walk through the "kid" section to go to the restroom. Maybe all Paneras are set up this way? And this one is set up very awkwardly with the drive-through. It made me very uncomfortable to walk through when parking and entering and exiting the store. But overall, an excellent experience. We loved the food and will recommend it and be repeat customers. read more

A friend and I visited Panera for the first time. Neither of us were impressed. The bread was extremely tough and almost impossible to eat. Also, there was hardly anything between the bread in either sandwich. A fork was not brought out for my fruit cup. After being unable to find an employee, I finally found a plastic fork.
