The catfish plate and chicken dinner plates are classics, and the portions are HUGE. You definitely won't leave hungry! The location is convenient, right on Pearson Road, which is one of the main roads through Pearl. There's indoor seating as well as an outdoor seating area under a covered awning. Inside is casual and comfortable, with the walls covered in photos and memorabilia featuring local people and Jackson-area history. It gives the restaurant a lot of personality. If you're looking for a locally owned place with big portions, good food, and genuinely friendly service, Frisco Deli is a great lunch spot in Pearl.

The location may have changed but something that has not is the quality of food and service. I have been ordering the exact thing for years and it's as delicious today as it was in 1986 We moved away from Pearl in 2018 so I rarely get over here. I was excited to see the line was not backed out to the street since it was 1030 so I grabbed my turkey and provolone on an onion roll with mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, warm. The fries were extremely fresh and hot. The sandwich was amazing. And to top it off is the service. They have always had the friendliest people who make you feel better when you leave than when you arrived. Through the years and when the kids were little, we enjoyed their chicken tenders, and I have also had the ribs. I've never had anything from there that was not delicious and fresh. To get to this location which is on the southeast corner of Highway 80 and 49 in Jackson, Mississippi, turn in like you're entering the Sutherland's Home Improvement store, but then hang a hard right and you'll see it straight ahead. Turn in to the second driveway for their parking lot or drive through. The entrance has a ramp but could be challenging for some people in wheelchairs or who are handicapped. I have some family members who would have difficulty getting in. See the picture I posted for reference, and you can determine if you can get in or need to stick to the drive through. After looking over their menu, I finally decided to get the chicken finger tacos with the chipotle ranch sauce and pico de gallo. They are made with flour tortillas which I found to be rather blah (I'm used to home-made or at least really good flour tortillas in my hometown which is 95% Hispanic). Thankfully, the chicken fingers were generous, hot, and tasty. I would have enjoyed a bit more of the sauce. It was not spicy at all. The pico de gallo was passing. Again, I've had the best elsewhere, so I'm a bit picky. Overall, the food was pretty good. It was a reasonable price. The food was served in styrofoam, disposable containers. The drink station had soft drinks and fresh brewed iced tea.
