The flavor that came out of each bite was over the top. I can tell you what else was exceptional, and that was the service. I have never met such a kind hostess. He insisted that he move our tables to be one big table. I told him it was okay because I didnt want to bother him, but he insisted, saying he wanted me and my little nephew to be comfortable. He handed us the menus, and we decided to order three different pizzas and the Pretzel Bites for the appetizer. The first pizza was the Three Little Pigs, a delicious combination of Italian sausage, pepperoni, applewood bacon, fresh basil, marinara, and mozzarella. This one was by far my favorite. The bacon and sausage had a spicy flavor, and the mozzarella was thick and gooey. One bite and the cheese would stretch for days. The other two, the Pepperoni and Chicken Alfredo, were right up there, too. I like that the Chicken Alfredo tasted more like a pizza than not. It had all the combinations of a Chicken Alfredo pasta dish, but with the spices and marinara sauces, it was a sweet combination of both, but it was more of a pizza flavor, which I just loved. I can't leave off the Pretzel Bites; I liked that the cheese and mustard were mixed, bringing on a very favorable dip. Now I must tell you this: the pizzas are supposed to be a personal pan--ten inches with six slices. The hostess warned me these pizzas aren't your regular-sized personal pan. He was right. The pizzas are huge, the slices even bigger. It's a deep-dish pizza with layers of meat, cheese, sauces, and veggies. So you can order three like I did, or just order one and keep coming back, trying different pizzas, which is a great idea considering the place is so inviting. One more thing: You can eat inside or outside on the patio or the lawn with the large TV screen. It's a very relaxed place, and they have a band on certain nights. I can tell you for sure that the hostess, the food, and the ambiance make this place what it is, very inviting.

So me and babe been going on dates since my bday weekend. We stumbled across this hidden gem! The pizza was magnificent, the outside views were great! Babe got the Alfredo pizza it was truly amazing. The crust light, fluffy with a nice crisp. The veggies were fresh especially the basil, very vibrant! The atmosphere was friendly, they have a great selection of beer and etc. Overall a must try 10/10!

If you're here for a short review, you have come to the wrong Yelp account. I'm a sandwich effect girl so I will give you the good, what they need to work on, and some more good. Let's start with what you really want to know. Is the pizza good? Absolutely. This is a relatively thin, hand pulled crust. Cooked really nice. I like the fact that the edges were still edible. Some places overcook it to the point that you cannot enjoy the edges of the crust. Quality ingredients on everything the pizzas that we ordered. We got the barbecue chicken pizza but we asked for no cilantro. Really nice, sweet barbecue sauce, the chicken had a great taste, just the right amount of red onions. The pepperoni was really good. Large amounts of thin pepperoni with a great sauce, and good quality mozzarella. if you like ranch on your pizza as we do, they make their ranch in house. I wanted the Caesar salad that was on the menu, the server looked at her handheld device and said that it was not on there, so they must be out. That was very disappointing as I wanted something green and crunchy and the rustica salad with the shaved fennel is not something I wanted. I found out later after talking to a manager, that they have discontinued the Caesar salad, although it remains on the menu, and the staff has not been told that. There was a little glitch that I will not go into detail about, but I would like to say that the manager was extremely apologetic, and agreed to make sure it doesn't happen again. Now let's finish up with some good like I promised. we sat on the back patio. It has a really nice vibe and you can look down below and see that they have an entire area with plans to do some type of entertainment on a stage. We have high hopes for this place. It appears that they've been making a lot of changes to their menu so hopefully they will settle into something that works well for everyone.

I love the setting of The Station. Located in Fondren, it's a fun vibe with outdoor and indoor seating, cornhole and other outdoor games and a cute bar area. You can't help but have a fun time when dinning in. I ordered the shrimp and boudin pizza (8") and a sweet tea. They have some good looking cocktails based on the menu and I will check some of those out later. Pizza came out quickly. It was hot and the crust was very good. It had a good flavor to it but the boudin overwhelmed the pizza to me. I would definitely eat here again but will try another pizza next time. My server was decent. Super friendly but was preoccupied talking to other servers instead of taking care of me 100%. Just needs a little training possibly.

If you haven't been lately, GO now... Well when they open again. The customer service was excellent, our waiter is going to get me, I forgot his name but he was very nice and welcoming. The manager also came over, I offered him a piece of pizza. Very welcoming we will definitely be back. The outside was everything the news had report, cozy relaxing and a lil something for everyone.

String lights hang overhead, and the sky displays pink and orange clouds. A building with neon signage is visible in the background, indicating a restaurant or entertainment venue. The scene captures a social gathering with diverse individuals in casual attire.

The place itself is deceptive on the outside. It's actually quite big. The pizza is pretty good and the staff are amazing.

Summer, the waitress/bartender was so attentive but more importantly very skilled at making an exceptional old fashion. Every sip was a reminder of southern comfort. Warm like grandma and stern like grandpa. (The block ice is optional so request as needed). The oysters were the star of the show. My first bite tasted like a pleasant memory of New Orleans. Consider this a buttery Bayou banger. Don't be shy, squeeze that lemon and dip that bread and leave nothing behind. The south west chicken salad is not to be slept on! I had a pretty big lunch so I wanted something light, but still packed a flavor punch. Boy was I knocked off my feet! The heirloom tomatoes, fresh avocado and homemade chipotle ranch took me from Louisiana to Mexico quicker than any plane could. I could not wait to share what was shared with me! I took my walk back down the street feeling gleeful and ready to brag. I received this recommendation from a local Mississippian and I couldn't be more happy with my decision. In fact, initially I felt bad about hitching a ride with my colleagues and later ditching them (they went to another spot up the street) until I was given every reason to be proud of stepping foot in The Manship.

That thick, golden crust has the perfect balance of crisp edges and soft, airy chew in the middle. You can tell it is baked with intention. The cheese caramelizes along the sides, the sauce is bright without being overpowering, and every bite feels indulgent without tipping into heavy. It is hearty, comforting, and incredibly satisfying. Then there is the cheese bread, which deserves its own applause. Warm, gooey, and unapologetically cheesy, it hits that ideal sweet spot between pillowy dough and rich melted cheese. It is the kind of thing you plan to take home leftovers of and then mysteriously finish in the car. What really seals the deal, though, is the customer service. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy you are there. Orders come out with care, questions are answered with enthusiasm, and the whole experience feels relaxed and neighborly. You never feel rushed, just well taken care of. Poppy Pies fits Fondren perfectly. It is cozy, confident, and clearly made with love. Whether you are there for a full pizza night with the family or just grabbing cheese bread to treat yourself, it is absolutely worth the stop and very easy to crave again.

We were seated quickly, as it was not super busy on a Saturday afternoon. Our server came quickly and took our drink orders and filled them quickly. She even handled our change of mind without a pause. Nice! Appetizer of Fried ravioli with Parmesan cheese sprinkled was nice and crunchy. Served with marinara sauce. Mom got the Chicken Parmigiana, layered over fettuccini. The portion was huge and quite crunchy, without being overcooked. The chicken was still tender and not dry but the flavor was just meh. It also was lacking in marinara sauce for the noodles. The star of the show was the 4 Train Remix pizza! It comes with Grade mozerella, grilled chicken, smoked gouda, pickled onions, roasted corn, chipotle bbq sauce and cilantro. I opted to add brisket to the 14" pie. Have mercy! The flavor!! The toppings worked so well together and the brisket just added another level of complexity. I would have preferred a slightly thicker crust since the oils tend to sog our the crust. It was a little messy to hold but that just added to the fun. We also tried the Nada Colada mocktail with Torani coconut, pineapple juice and ginger ale and it was really good.
