I had been here when the place first openwd up and was not impressed at all. However, after my favorite brunch place closed i decided to give this place another try. Boy, i was not disappointed. Our waiter was impeccable and the food i ordered is something i often dream about. We recently checked out Another Broken Egg on a fairly dreary Saturday morning. Given the threat of weather they weren't seating as many people outside so the wait was a little longer. They told us 45mins. so we went across and got coffee at Saxby's figuring we would be done by the time they called us. Nope, they called us right after we returned. We felt a little bad coming in with the outsider coffee, but were glad not to have to wait longer. Our server was really nice so they get four stars for service, but I wasn't too sold on the food. Mrs. B went for the gluten free pancake which she enjoyed and I had the cajun potato skillet. I've had similar dishes at other places and they are usually really tasty. This one was just kind of meh. It wasn't bad, but had very little seasoning and flavor for something labeled "cajun". I was also surprised by the amount of garlic in it (at least four whole cloves). I like some garlic, but this seemed like a lot given the rest of the dish wasn't so much food as to balance it out. We will give it another try at some point, but this visit made me wishing we had just gone to IHOP. read more

My boyfriend and I were staying in a nearby hotel so we decided to check this place out last Sunday morning. There was a bit of a wait for a table (brunch on a Sunday of course) so we joined the wait list and sat outside. We decided to get a Bloody Mary from the bar in the meantime and they were delicious! We each tried a different specialty Bloody Mary. The bartender was incredibly friendly and even offered to move a chair down so we could eat at the bar. We declined but thanked him as we really wanted to sit down at a table. Once we were finally seated, the server, Donny, was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I had the Eggs Benedict and my boyfriend had the Biscuits and Gravy. Everything was delicious! And even as busy as they were everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. I always sit at the bar. The staff and management are personable and friendly there. Kim, Ashley, Deb and all the rest. Wish I could remember their names. I highly recommend you sit at the bar too. Their coffee is strong. Usually takes me about 4 creamers and 4 packs of sugar to make a dent in it. It's a special blend that the staff is happy to tell you about. Their house pepper infused bloody mary is solid. Just go ahead and order that. I've had their Reuben. Ask for extra saurkraut and 1000 island. They are very accomodating and the bread is thin but good. I've had their BLTA. Again, ask for it the way you like it. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and waffles are typical but good. Negatives/Personal preference: I do not like their melanine plates. My mom had those things in the 70's and I have never seen anything like that in a restaurant. Even Waffle House uses Corelle dishes...the ones you can drop but won't break. Mom had those too. And I wish they would just put everything on one plate. I don't need a separate small plate for every darn thing. Bob Evans does that too and it's annoying. Hey look over here at everything I ordered on my pile o' plates! Like I'm a fatty fat fat. Which I'm not. Just feels that way the more plates they bring out. But that's corporates fault, not the local staff. read more

I am reviewing this location and giving it 5 stars based on: black bean eggs benedict real eggs benedict potatoes (extra crispy) coffee service I cant comment on any other food. we went there on a saturday morning around 9ish. No need to call ahead, we were seated immediately (we had 3 in our group). Our waitress was very nice and offered water and coffee while 2 of us waited for the third. We ordered the black bean benedict and the regular benedict (dont remember the exact name). and all had potatoes on the side. They were great. fantastic recreation using black bean. and i was told the regular benedict was great as well (he's an eggs benedict connoisseur). Coffee tasted good as well. and they offered us togo cups without us asking. top notch service when we were there. I am interested in going back to try the other dishes they have. read more

A friend of mine and I met up a few Sundays back for brunch. It was a little after noon, so we expected a bit of a wait, but we waited upwards of 30 or more minutes for a table. When we were finally seated, we noticed that there were several empty tables inside and wondered what the delay was all about. I'm not sure if they were just short on staff or what. The food we ordered was just ok, but nothing in particular stood out about it. I ordered a Turkey Brie and Pesto sandwich and my friend ordered grits with cheese, a side of sausage links and a side of biscuits. Our food took forever to come out, maybe even longer than it took for us to be seated and our waitress would disappear for long periods of time. All in all the food was just ok, but not worth the initial wait to be seated or the wait to have it made. If I go again, perhaps I'll try not going on a weekend day around "brunch time", maybe things will be better then. read more

The food here was good. We tried to come here once and there was a two hour wait. Today we went and it was a 15 min wait, but we were able to sit a the bar and not wait at all. We used the Stealz app and got a free order beignets they were good! But all fried dough is good. I got the huevos rancheros, not the best I've ever had, but good. I wanted iced coffee. My best friend is in town visiting and found this restaurant on google maps so we decided to give it a try. She ordered the Shrimp Omelette with a Mimosa and I requested the stacked pancakes combo. Our waiter, Zack, was very accommodating by checking on us regularly and ensuring that we were satisfied with our food a drinks. Food was good, I had the shrimp and city grits recommended by the waitress. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I had the Lobster and Brie Omelette, I asked for Hollandaise rather then the champagne butter, and I asked for substitution of the potato's and had vegetables (roasted) which was not an issue for them, I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast, it was excellent, and the restaurant was packed, not an empty seat, with 10+ waiting .. I could wish the coffee mugs were a better price, had to pass on 18.00 but they were adorable, my overall experience was excellent, the food, the atmosphere. 5 stars would have been the rating if it hadnt been so busy.. they could have brought in more wait-staff for labor day, but thats of course a management decision, it didnt effect the food quality, just service. read more

The latte was great and served in a cute store cup. The orange juice tasted so fresh that we had 2 and asked for the distributor before we left. Than played blind when we asked him to notice the many curdles of cream in the coffee. Definitely "Another Broken Egg" has served its time and it is time to bid farewell. I'm going to start with the positives.... 1. The ice water was cold 2. We got a good parking spot. Now, on to the rest. Service- terrible from start to finish. Checked in on the yelp app and was quoted a wait time of 18-25 minutes. When we got to the restaurant the host told us that we should call instead of using the check in feature. He quoted the 2 top in front of us at 90 minutes. I asked how long our wait would be "you have 12 parties ahead of you" I don't know how that translates to minutes. We were seated after about 5 minutes by a gal who was very nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary- it was too spicy to drink. I'm pretty tough when it comes to spice but this one made me feel like the bartender was trying to be a jerk. My husband ordered a coffee drink that the table next to us had. He got it 30 minutes later and our server said "sorry. The bartender is slow" Food- terrible terrible terrible. My husband ordered the special Benedict and was told 30 minutes later that they didn't have it. So he ordered a regular Benedict. The hollandaise was melted sour cream. So gross. I had the pancake trio. Not good either and one of my pancakes had wilted lettuce cooked on it. The over medium eggs were greasy and cold with a ton of water content inside. I work nearby and everyone always raved about how delicious the food was here. So we decided to order for pickup. We waited what felt like forever. The food was over 20min after the scheduled pick up time. We were not offered anything to drink while we waited. So we get the food back to the office and we we're yet again disappointed. The panini wasn't toasted, the sauces on all the sandwiches was a small dallop in the center which meant the sandwiches were dry. My bread was toasted on the edges, but not in the middle and the bacon was burnt. Each sandwich was supposed to come with potatoes.
