My best friend is in town visiting and found this restaurant on google maps so we decided to give it a try. She ordered the Shrimp Omelette with a Mimosa and I requested the stacked pancakes combo. Our waiter, Zack, was very accommodating by checking on us regularly and ensuring that we were satisfied with our food a drinks. Once the food arrived we dug right in to eat and the conversation between us came to a halt because the food was delicious. This place has IHop beat with the pancakes, omelettes, and hot chocolate, and will definitely be my go-to breakfast spot when I want to go out for breakfast alone or whenever friends and family come to visit. read more

It was my first time coming to eat here and the food was great my girlfriend really enjoyed it

The food here was good. We tried to come here once and there was a two hour wait. Today we went and it was a 15 min wait, but we were able to sit a the bar and not wait at all. We used the Stealz app and got a free order beignets they were good! But all fried dough is good. I got the huevos rancheros, not the best I've ever had, but good. I wanted iced coffee. They don't actually have it, but the waitress made it but putting ice in it. Overall it was good! I would come back. read more

Almost didn't check it out because of previous yelps regarding discourteous service. Glad we gave it a try. The hostess and servers were eggcellent! Could it be they were going out of their way to erase earlier hiccups? Maybe. Could it be the staff had good southern manners and it shows? Also possible. Either way, the atmosphere was wonderful during our memorial day breakfast. The food was quite enjoyable. When ordering we asked for recommendations since it was or first time here. After offering the waitress said she was going to comp a serving of beignets - delicious surprise. I enjoyed perfectly cooked eggs Benedict and my son devoured his bannana foster pancakes. We enjoyed and will return. Maybe too pricey for us to come all the time but I would say the food is properly priced for the quality. read more

I had the Lobster and Brie Omelette, I asked for Hollandaise rather then the champagne butter, and I asked for substitution of the potato's and had vegetables (roasted) which was not an issue for them, I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast, it was excellent, and the restaurant was packed, not an empty seat, with 10+ waiting .. I could wish the coffee mugs were a better price, had to pass on 18.00 but they were adorable, my overall experience was excellent, the food, the atmosphere. 5 stars would have been the rating if it hadnt been so busy.. they could have brought in more wait-staff for labor day, but thats of course a management decision, it didnt effect the food quality, just service. read more

Just one of the best brunch menus around. They are always busy so plan ahead. Food to the table took a little while but it was worth the wait. read more

Mediocre seems to be the best word to describe this restaurant. We went July 9th around 2 pm and were served fairly quickly but all the servers seemed to have the worst attitude ever. None of them wanted to be here and the hostess made that very obvious. The food was quite expensive and definitely underwhelming. It was about 30$ for two people and we both were feeling unsatisfied with the meal we had. Not terrible but not something to write home about. read more

We arrived at 12:20 pm for lunch and get seated at a sticky table with water rings still on the table from prior guest. Lovely... 10 minutes pass, no service. We start looking around for a server and no one paid any attention to us. We finally asked the hostess if we could get service and she found the manager for us. Manager tells us he is not our server, the bartender is, but he is happy to help. We ask for water and place food order. Now we have been sitting for 25+ minutes--just us and the silverware. We are looking around for service again. Finally we get up, walk to a server from another section, and ask if she could get our waters and check on our order (she was helpful). 30 minutes in: the waters arrive, but order has been lost. Manager is trying to work on it. Yup, the same manager who took our order and didn't bring us waters or enter our order in. Time's up. We found food elsewhere. I work nearby and regularly frequent restaurants in the area. Won't be back to this one. read more

Accidentally stumbled upon this place while waiting for car to be fixed on a Saturday morning. The service was amazing from beginning to end. We started with drinks. The latte was great and served in a cute store cup. The orange juice tasted so fresh that we had 2 and asked for the distributor before we left. We had the freshly baked cinnamon roll as an appetizer. Then, the entree came. We loved the omelettes. I would definitely come back here again for brunch. read more

Terrible service. We waited 5 minutes to even see a hostess. Then sat and waited 10 for seeing a bored acting waitress. Ran out of coffee. Asked a random guy. Still waiting on our food but over it after another 20 minutes. No sign of waitress no sign of food. Finally got it. 30 minutes from coming in. Dry omelette overcooked. For 40 dollars. Oh and the bird feeder outside is full of water and green with mold. Yum. read more

Be prepared to wait a while on a Sunday! My best friend and I went for brunch and it was a 45 minute wait but well worth the wait. The vibe is very nice!! We sat at the bar and the bartender/waitress (Elizabeth) was awesome. Not only did she take care of us and gave us ideas of what to order she had to maintain everyone else orders as well!! I ordered the French toast with pecans and bananas with a side of eggs and bacon. To be honest it was so much food. Next time I'll do the French toast solo. That food was sooooo good I mean I came back home and keep talking about it. My best friend food looked pleasing as well. She had shrimp and crab Benedict I believe. I know it was something shellfish. I do recommend this location and their food. The service was quick and again there's a nice vibe here. I will be visiting in the future!! read more

Breakfast was delicious! Our waiter Ken recommended the shrimp and grits as well as the cinnamon roll French toast. My friend and I love to try new places with great food so off to a great start this summer! read more

The food was delicious. Our server was nice too. I got the cinnamon French toast (I'd def will order it again!) and my hubby got the chicken and waffles. Giving 4 stars because the cook forgot to include something we ordered although it was on our bill. There was way too much syrup added to my plate and my plate which had fruit on it was drenched in sauce. Overall, it was a positive experience. read more

Food was cold and not impressive it almost tasted like that free hotel food but, I had higher expectations for this place because it's suppose to specialize in food read more

This is a place you want to like, but can't. Just had another terrible experience. All the food except breakfast potatoes was cold. No refills on coffee either. It was 7:30 on Saturday morning and not busy at all, so very disappointing. The French toast was room temperature and it felt like it came out of a bag and not off a griddle. Again, the bacon was room temp cold. Just don't get it, this could be such a good place . We have been to one in Texas and it was great. Btw, I would have shared this info in person if anyone asked. I'm not a big fan of using Yelp to provide feedback. read more

Was in the Raleigh area visiting for the weekend and was so happy to find this spot. We went here for Mother's Day brunch and enjoyed the blueberry goat cheese lemon pancakes and were able to get them gluten free. We also enjoyed the crab cakes Benedict and lobster and bri omelette... Everything was so delicious and the staff was very friendly. We came back the next day for breakfast and our waitress treated us to an order of beignets. I highly recommend ordering. All around a great experience. My boyfriend and I were staying in a nearby hotel so we decided to check this place out last Sunday morning. There was a bit of a wait for a table (brunch on a Sunday of course) so we joined the wait list and sat outside. We decided to get a Bloody Mary from the bar in the meantime and they were delicious! We each tried a different specialty Bloody Mary. The bartender was incredibly friendly and even offered to move a chair down so we could eat at the bar. We declined but thanked him as we really wanted to sit down at a table. Once we were finally seated, the server, Donny, was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I had the Eggs Benedict and my boyfriend had the Biscuits and Gravy. Everything was delicious! And even as busy as they were everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back next time we are in town! read more

From start to finish we had a fabulous experience. We put our name on the waitlist using the Yelp feature while driving in. Once we arrived for check-in the host gave us a menu to review as this was my fiancée's first time In. Once seated, we were greeted by Jessica. Her smile and knowledge of the menu was impressive. We appreciate her checking to ensure I had pickles with my Bloody Mary. She advised us on customer favorites and checked-in often. I'll definitely be back. read more

The food and menu were specialized but what really makes the place standout is how they compliment the meals. Either with pepper sauce or cayenne seasoned almonds, they truly create a unique breakfast experience. Go early, it will be crowded. read more

Excellent service & food! Clean & quick. It was busy when we arrived (weekend brunch time) but we were seated promptly.

Way to freaking cold inside. No one wants to eat their food while feeling like they are in the artic. Dress warm!!!

I know it's during Covid, but when there is hardly any people in the lobby, don't tell me to go wait outside for 15 minutes in below freezing temperatures, because of social distancing, but other than that, it was good. The waitress was kind and attentive. read more

Food was good, I had the shrimp and city grits recommended by the waitress. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

We stopped in here on a Sunday morning and the place was packed!! We had to wait a little while and the service wasn't super speedy, but I think that was just because they were packed out. We ordered the blackberry cream cheese stuffed French toast and the bananas foster pancakes. Both were fantastic! The bacon was a little crunchier than I tend to like, but still good. Everything tasted fresh and I would definitely recommend this spot! Only regret I have is not trying the cold brew coffee with some Bailey's! read more

I heard that this place was pretty good. But the service was horrible. Our waiter took 15 mins to realize that we were seated in his section. Corey never came to check on us and he also forgot our drinks at the bar. When we finally got our beignets they we're rock hard. I just felt like the service and food could of been better. Maybe it was an off day. I just didn't enjoy my first experience here. read more

After waiting an hour on a twenty minute wait for a table we were seated by a rude hostess who didn't bother to call our name earlier. We were informed we were texted but never received a text, we also saw them calling other guests names for tables I guess they gave up on the traditional way of telling people a table is ready. After being seated it took over an hour for our food to come out after being informed our ticket was overlooked. Food was good but not worth 2 hours. read more

Once upon a time this restaurant "rocked" the menu and setup was perfect, Anything on the menu tasted fresh, perfect to order, a great blend of New Orleans in North Hills than boom , change of ownership. Food and service has been steadily dropping. Does anyone at "Another Broken Egg" care about there business. Today had the biggest Server with an attitude that could not fit inside the restaurant. Completely one minded server who first served us coffee that looked and tasted like heated water with a hint of coffee. Rolled his eyes when we asked for something fresher. Than played blind when we asked him to notice the many curdles of cream in the coffee. Definitely "Another Broken Egg" has served its time and it is time to bid farewell. It no longer is anything like it was 3 years ago. It has completely fallen and is a horrible business in North Hills. Every item I wanted to order my son kept reminding me "Mom you tried that last time remember it was horrible. " Never will we return again sad to see the restaurant lost its composure. read more

I'm going to start with the positives.... 1. The ice water was cold 2. We got a good parking spot. Now, on to the rest. Service- terrible from start to finish. Checked in on the yelp app and was quoted a wait time of 18-25 minutes. When we got to the restaurant the host told us that we should call instead of using the check in feature. He quoted the 2 top in front of us at 90 minutes. I asked how long our wait would be "you have 12 parties ahead of you" I don't know how that translates to minutes. We were seated after about 5 minutes by a gal who was very nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary- it was too spicy to drink. I'm pretty tough when it comes to spice but this one made me feel like the bartender was trying to be a jerk. My husband ordered a coffee drink that the table next to us had. He got it 30 minutes later and our server said "sorry. The bartender is slow" Food- terrible terrible terrible. My husband ordered the special Benedict and was told 30 minutes later that they didn't have it. So he ordered a regular Benedict. The hollandaise was melted sour cream. So gross. I had the pancake trio. Not good either and one of my pancakes had wilted lettuce cooked on it. The over medium eggs were greasy and cold with a ton of water content inside. It was the biggest waste of $45 read more

I work nearby and everyone always raved about how delicious the food was here. So we decided to order for pickup. We waited what felt like forever. The food was over 20min after the scheduled pick up time. We were not offered anything to drink while we waited. So we get the food back to the office and we we're yet again disappointed. The panini wasn't toasted, the sauces on all the sandwiches was a small dallop in the center which meant the sandwiches were dry. My bread was toasted on the edges, but not in the middle and the bacon was burnt. Each sandwich was supposed to come with potatoes. I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't the tiny handful of seasonedless squares... Wont be returning. read more
