Whoever didn't get good service must have come during rush hour or when Deborah wasn't here (she was fabulous)! The only way I could have gotten better service was if they had given me my own personal fan girl! My only issue is that The Floridian omelet needs a little something more, like bell pepper or tomato, to take it over the top. The beignets were outstanding! I will be back and I will ask for Deborah when I do! read more

Unfortunately you have those moments in life where you tell your friends from out of town, "we have to take you to this breakfast place, it's amazing!" Then you take them there when they're in from out of town and have the worst experience possible. Our servers section she was taking care of was unbelievably large, and it's unrealistic of her manager to think that it would be possible to attend to all of her tables and give the best service possible. We probably saw our server twice, the service was awful, period. Our food took 47 minutes to come out of the kitchen, and surprise, surprise, when it did, it was cold. I generally LOVE the crab cake Benedict, so I recommended my best friend try them; welcome to North Hills Another Broken Egg where breakfast is served as cold as ice cubes. I hate leaving bad reviews but, when you bring your friends from out of town to a breakfast joint, have an awful experience, cold food, bad service, and are overcharged for simple breakfast items, you one, never want to go back, and two, want to leave a review so others don't have the same horrifying experience as we did. read more

Came her for Sunday brunch at around 10am. We didn't have a reservation so they put us on the list but didn't tell us the expected wait time. Ourselves and other patrons had to individually ask. It was 20-30 mins but after 10 mins we noticed there were some empty bar seats that weren't filled for some time so we asked if we could take those. The bartender was great and very attentive. They menu had a good variety of options including gluten free pancakes for my celiac fiancee which is sometimes a hard find. If you are first time customer you get a free order of beignets. Those were mighty fine. My fiancee and I both ordered omelets which I would give about a B+. My fiancee mentioned hers was a little greasy but I didn't have the same issue. The decor was kind of country cute so it didn't feel greasy spoon kitchen at all. I think we will go back mostly for the free beignets and gluten free pancakes when we have such a craving. read more

This is a really solid choice for breakfast food, second-tier behind First Watch, and I rank it a little bit ahead of Brigs. Significantly better then Big Ed's. Everything is really good quality, just nothing special to take it to a 5-star rating. read more

Went there on a Saturday for brunch and it was really good. They could use more servers as our server had way too many tables. The food is very good though. Loved it! read more

I've wanted to eat here since it opened. Many chains nowadays especially the newer ones are not like old chains, the food is usually a level up. However, I was unimpressed with his visit to this restaurant. My omelette was dry the potatoes were obviously from a Frozen bag. If you're going to charge these type of prices you should at least make your own home fries. read more

A fabulous place to have breakfast or brunch, came here with my boyfriend on my mothers suggestion and were blown away, eggs were done well, skirt steak melted in your mouth! And the shrimp and grits were spicy and delectable. Despite the crowds our waitress made us feel welcome, special and well taken care of! We will with out a doubt be back!! read more

If you like to wait an hour and a half for mediocre food, this is the perfect place for you. If you like cold food, even better. If you never want refills on drinks, awesome! So, overall, you get the picture. Slow and bad service. Mediocre and cold food. Not much else to say. Disappointing. read more

I wish I could leave "0" stars. This places is horrible! From the long wait for the food, to the waitress scratching her head, and the dog (not service) coming in the restaurant made this a terrible experience. Although the dog and owners were set up on the patio, the waitress was handling and exchanging items with them (dog hands). Then walking back inside and continue serving people and scratching her head. The head scratching waitress also had to be reminded twice that we ordered water along with our other beverages. Not sure what they used to make the sausage patties but they were very salty and had a strange flavor. If you are looking for an enjoyable breakfast or brunch, do yourself a favor and find another place. read more

Food was yummy, waffles had no butter, that was sad. Friend got the neopalotin thing, she rated a 9/10

I went on Friday around 11:30am. It was wonderful! I sat at the bar. Debra was my server/bartender and she was amazing! She explained the menu, offered suggestions, and entertained me with conversation. I also noticed that she had memorized other guests' regular orders. She was able to get some of the workers and business professionals that work locally out pretty quickly. Great service! I had hot chocolate and biscuit beignets. I frequently visit New Orleans and love real beignets! These were pretty tasty! They are obviously a little different and smaller than real beignets, but they were fantastic! Overall, I had a great experience. I will definitely go back! read more

incredibly slow service, the food portions were meager and most of the plate was empty (not like the images shown by previous reviewers), within 10 minutes of eating my stomach started cramping and I felt nauseous. It took us 45 minutes to be seated, which wasn't a problem, however after being seated it took an hour and 15 minutes to be served our food. We received no updates from our sever, no apologies for slow service, and the food was poorly cooked and definitely not worth the wait. My biscuit was rubbery as if it had been microwaved. The potatoes were the best tasting part of the dish and I covered them in ketchup and salt. I ordered the Popeye which was served with what appeared to be one egg swimming in greasy cheese (way too much cheese, barely enough egg to hold the ingredients -bacon, onion, spinach-together, which is probably why it was smothered in cheese) Several customers left after being seated due to the slow service. I do not recommend this place to anyone especially after I experienced serious stomach problems instantly after eating. On a positive note, the interior decor is nice and I like the brightly colored shirts the staff wore. It's too bad the service and quality of food was so terrible because the menu offers a good selection of choices. read more

Have eaten here on 4 separate occasions since they opened. Once with a large party, otherwise just 2 of us. The wait for a table is typically 30+ minutes. The estimate times the hostess gives is usually pretty spot on. However, every time we've dined here, the wait from the time we ordered to the time we were served was loooong. Over 30 minutes each time. It's frustrating, so if you arrive hungry expect it to be famished before you eat. That being said, the food is always good and the wait staff always friendly. I think the problem lies within the kitchen. I've worked in restaurants and know an inefficient kitchen line can affect the restaurants reputation. A few tweaks with staff training may go a long way with this place. read more

Food was excellent as usual.. nice and hot. Love the Beignets ...what a naughty treat. Our server Dan was exceptional.

If you like pancakes you have to try the Bourbon Street pecan pancakes. Jonee' was our server and she made the best recommendations and made our meal so enjoyable. 10/10 would come back and request her as my server! read more

To say the service was poor was an understatement. After making reservations weeks in advance for their party room for a large birthday celebration, we were not seated for 30+ minutes after the reservation time as the entire room that we reserved was full of other customers. When asked why the room was occupied by others, the manager stated that we were late for our 12pm reservation which was a blatant lie (we were checked in at 11:43am). So moving forward, we were starting to enjoy the brunch and our waitress was wonderful. However, the kitchen manager delivered our drinks in the rudest manner I have ever encountered in any restaurant which included verbal disrespect along with slamming the drinks on the table. When discussing the encounter with the higher up manager, the kitchen manager came up and stated "I'm cooking yalls food so what were you saying about me?" After we walked outside of the restaurant a couple was asking about what happened and while we were explaining the situation the same employee comes outside to continue the confrontation and then proceeds to lock the door to the restaurant preventing customers that were eating outside from going to the restroom when they tried. The amount of disrespect and poor customer service we received today was unbelievable and this establishment should be ashamed of how their employees treat paying customers. Never again will I be give my business to this restaurant. read more

I had low expectations because I figured this was just another breakfast place that was attached to a hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised. Food was fresh, simple and tasty. I asked for my bacon to be extra crispy and it came out perfectly crispy, not burnt. Service was quick and friendly. As a bonus, I found out from the waitress that the guy who runs the kitchen just won a cooking competition where he beat out a bunch of other chefs from high end restaurants. Great spot. Reasonably priced. I'll be back. read more

Food was good, the shrimp and grits were awesome. Service... not a fan. We were seated and waited roughly 10 minutes after being seated before even having our drink order taken. I completely understand a busy day at a restaurant (from someone who has worked in the industry) but I would definitely try my very hardest to consistently check on customers who were sitting outside in the heat. It came to the point I had to get up and ask the host if I could have my water refilled. When we got the food, we were excited to finally see what all the talk was about. Sadly, we had to wait almost 5 minutes before receiving silverware. Again, I understand a busy day in a restaurant... but I would never bring out plastic utensils. A table who were seated after us had their silverware. Why were we given plastic silverware and was told "some customers ask for plastic utensils." If that was the case... I would have asked for plastic utensils IF I WANTED THEM. So then I waited a few more minutes for rolled silverware. I probably won't be coming back again. The food was good, too bad it was the service that put a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Food is Phenomenal and Customer Service through the roof!!! My favorite place too eat!!!

Staff this morning was nice but they all seemed like they hate their lives/jobs. Skip the eggs Benedict. If you can even call it that. Overpriced as a mother. Sad a coworker recommended it to me--maybe it's better than this on a typical day, but I wouldn't go back. Not the worst place I've been by far, just... very "meh." read more

Love the food. Prices are bit steep.... Can go to brigs for the same thing and a better price, but at least you can drink here

Great little hidden spot. The greeter, waitstaff and bartender are always ready to take care of you. It has home feel great touch of the little flowers on table. I am a fan of anyspot that allows outside dining. I feels like the kind of place you find in a downtown neighborhood. read more

Good food for breakfast -- and a lot of variety/options. It was quite busy the late morning we went in. Our wait to get a table and to get our food was longer than normal, though I think it was an anomaly due to kitchen staffing. The Shrimp and Grits are amazing! Everything is great honestly. EVERYTHING!!! Never had a bloody Mary today. Heard they're the best here

We recently checked out Another Broken Egg on a fairly dreary Saturday morning. Given the threat of weather they weren't seating as many people outside so the wait was a little longer. They told us 45mins. so we went across and got coffee at Saxby's figuring we would be done by the time they called us. Nope, they called us right after we returned. We felt a little bad coming in with the outsider coffee, but were glad not to have to wait longer. Our server was really nice so they get four stars for service, but I wasn't too sold on the food. Mrs. B went for the gluten free pancake which she enjoyed and I had the cajun potato skillet. I've had similar dishes at other places and they are usually really tasty. This one was just kind of meh. It wasn't bad, but had very little seasoning and flavor for something labeled "cajun". I was also surprised by the amount of garlic in it (at least four whole cloves). I like some garlic, but this seemed like a lot given the rest of the dish wasn't so much food as to balance it out. We will give it another try at some point, but this visit made me wishing we had just gone to IHOP. read more

It's straight up a breakfast diner. Unpretentious, not spectacular (or bad). It's like a notch or two above a Waffle House, basically. The food is ok, the service is usually at *least* okay. Nothing amazing about it. Since they close after lunch, I'm not sure why they bothered with the full service bar. Seems odd. read more

Rude host stand ! Weren't accommodating at all. 1.5 hours past wait time. Couldn't provide us any update.

I always sit at the bar. The staff and management are personable and friendly there. Kim, Ashley, Deb and all the rest. Wish I could remember their names. I highly recommend you sit at the bar too. Their coffee is strong. Usually takes me about 4 creamers and 4 packs of sugar to make a dent in it. It's a special blend that the staff is happy to tell you about. Their house pepper infused bloody mary is solid. Just go ahead and order that. I've had their Reuben. Ask for extra saurkraut and 1000 island. They are very accomodating and the bread is thin but good. I've had their BLTA. Again, ask for it the way you like it. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and waffles are typical but good. Negatives/Personal preference: I do not like their melanine plates. My mom had those things in the 70's and I have never seen anything like that in a restaurant. Even Waffle House uses Corelle dishes...the ones you can drop but won't break. Mom had those too. And I wish they would just put everything on one plate. I don't need a separate small plate for every darn thing. Bob Evans does that too and it's annoying. Hey look over here at everything I ordered on my pile o' plates! Like I'm a fatty fat fat. Which I'm not. Just feels that way the more plates they bring out. But that's corporates fault, not the local staff. read more

I had been here when the place first openwd up and was not impressed at all. However, after my favorite brunch place closed i decided to give this place another try. Boy, i was not disappointed. I first want to take this time out to recognize one of the waiters Adam H. He's an amazing server; very attentive to the customer's needs, courteous, kind, welcoming and knowledgeable regarding the menu. His selections recommendations all have been great! He is one of the reasons my family and I have returned to to this establishment. Adam is a blessing to have wait on us! We pray that he will be recognized by his supervisor(s) and or even the corporate office for professional work ethics. Adam is an asset to have as an employee. Thanks Adam! Second the food here is extremely good!!!!! read more

Came for brunch Saturday. Split a Benedict with my daughter. Food was very tasty, big plate. Yummy mimosas

I am reviewing this location and giving it 5 stars based on: black bean eggs benedict real eggs benedict potatoes (extra crispy) coffee service I cant comment on any other food. we went there on a saturday morning around 9ish. No need to call ahead, we were seated immediately (we had 3 in our group). Our waitress was very nice and offered water and coffee while 2 of us waited for the third. We ordered the black bean benedict and the regular benedict (dont remember the exact name). and all had potatoes on the side. They were great. fantastic recreation using black bean. and i was told the regular benedict was great as well (he's an eggs benedict connoisseur). Coffee tasted good as well. and they offered us togo cups without us asking. top notch service when we were there. I am interested in going back to try the other dishes they have. read more

A friend of mine and I met up a few Sundays back for brunch. It was a little after noon, so we expected a bit of a wait, but we waited upwards of 30 or more minutes for a table. When we were finally seated, we noticed that there were several empty tables inside and wondered what the delay was all about. I'm not sure if they were just short on staff or what. The food we ordered was just ok, but nothing in particular stood out about it. I ordered a Turkey Brie and Pesto sandwich and my friend ordered grits with cheese, a side of sausage links and a side of biscuits. Our food took forever to come out, maybe even longer than it took for us to be seated and our waitress would disappear for long periods of time. All in all the food was just ok, but not worth the initial wait to be seated or the wait to have it made. If I go again, perhaps I'll try not going on a weekend day around "brunch time", maybe things will be better then. read more
