I have had to wait 45 minutes to an hour each time to get my food after the server took my order. The restaurant staff seems like they are all doing 5 different jobs. I love the location of this restaurant. It's in North Hills which has so much to offer for dinner and night time activities so it's nice to have a place to go for brunch and breakfast. I made sure to "get in line" on Yelp because when we got there it only took us 5min max to get a table vs others who walked away from a 15-90min wait. The food was mostly good. Although he had opening tasks, Tristan went above and beyond to complete them and stay engaged in a great conversation with me too. He took the time to answer my questions as I am new to the area. Tried this place for the 1st time in Orange Beach,AL and I loved it. Found out there was 1 in Raleigh and drove 2 hours to try it out and it was well worth the drive. The Ipanema Coffee pancakes are better than anything IHOP has ever came out with and I love having the mimosas to go with it. Wish there was one closer to me but I will definitely make the trip back some day read more

Typically, we have a good experience at Another Broken Egg, but this time was different. We have a dairy intolerance and usually call in our order so that we can make sure our food has no cheese or butter, but we called twice and nobody answered the phone each time. We finally placed our order online and noted the dairy allergy. When we got home with our food and got settled in, we realized there was cheese all over the scramble we had specifically asked to have no cheese on. We tried calling them again, because we figured they could fix it on our way over, and we didn't want to have to wait in the building. They didn't answer after we called twice again. After our 10 minute drive back, we waited a couple minutes to speak to a manager to let them know what had happened. In that couple of minutes, we saw multiple employees wearing their masks incorrectly (but funnily enough, all the customers in the very crowded/not socially distant waiting area were wearing theirs correctly) and noticed that while there are barriers in between the booths, the tables were seated way less than 6 feet apart (it honestly didn't look like they sacrificed any tables to make room for proper social distancing). The manager gave us a coupon for $10, but the dates are very confusing, so we're not even sure if we can use that in the future, not that we're gonna spend any of our money here anymore. The wait for them to remake our food was unacceptable, too. They weren't terribly busy (it was a Tuesday morning) and making a scramble with eggs, beans, and vegetables should not take very long for a competent person. Meanwhile, the other meal we had ordered was sitting at home, getting colder every minute we had to wait. Overall, this was the worst $30 I've spent in a long time and I won't be giving my money to Another Broken Egg in Raleigh again. We were upset when it initially happened, but since we have both worked in restaurants before, we wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves, but they couldn't even do that.
