Excellent! Menu blew my mind! I over ordered because I wanted to try it all! Lobster and bre omelette was the most delicious thing I have ever had. Top that with a blueberry, lemon and goat cheese pancake.....:sensory overload! Perfect mimosas and bloodies. (I had to have both) Recommend!!!!! Can't say that enough! read more

Love going, great food, and if in the mood for a alcoholic beverage great mimosas. Only fall back it's the only one in Raleigh area so not a fan when we have to wait over 30min. read more

The food and service were amazing! Once we were finally sat, the server immediately came to our table and got our drink order. The turn around time was quick. The food was flavor-able and well plated. The only downfall was, we made a rsvp in advance; which said 29 minute wait time, but we waited nearly an hour. read more

When we walked in, we had to wait a couple of minutes for someone to seat us. We were seated by the kitchen doors which is never a pleasant experience. We sat at the table for at least 5+ minutes before one of the 6+ servers noticed us. The young girl "tending" bar was our server. She treated us as if we were an inconvenience because she couldn't continue entertaining her friends at the bar. She took our order, we received it, my order was wrong (but there was no way I was going to complain). We waited forever for our bill, we finally asked another waitstaff to bring us our bill, but she said "Jasmine will have to get it for you," but Jasmine was too busy entertaining her friends at the bar and being unnecessarily loud and felt it necessary to announce throughout the place that they are now "legally allowed to serve alcohol" just didn't see the need to do that. She picked up our bill, brought it back and that was it. No "Thanks for coming, no nothing. We walked out and passed at least 5 servers hanging by the front door and only after eye contact did someone say have a good day. We will never go back. Our breakfast experience at Big Ed's was SO MUCH BETTER. read more

We typically frequent the Charleston location but we were in Raleigh and know they have gluten free options and safe pancakes for my egg allergic daughter so we stopped here. The service is slow, and we got in before the "rush." We watched a veteran and his wife leave because no one came to their table at all. Our waiter was quick to greet and take our order, but once the rush came was slow in checking on us and bringing our check so we could leave. Our pancakes were somewhat burnt, but not enough that we couldn't eat them. The toast my husband got was barely toasted. read more

Parking is challenging, but there is a free lot further past and to the right, if you don't mind a brief walk. We checked in, and were given an estimate waiting time of 35-40 minutes. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes, hence the one star deduction. However, our waitress Brittany was awesome! She was very efficient, informative, and as nice as could be. She kept us updated on our order status, and checked up on us regularly. She truly made our visit and our wait worth it. Brittany, thanks for being a peach! read more

I love the location of this restaurant. It's in North Hills which has so much to offer for dinner and night time activities so it's nice to have a place to go for brunch and breakfast. Both times I've been here we've been seated immediately and have had no issues with our orders. The food is delicious and the portions are a decent size. I definitely recommend the beignets. They are absolutely delicious with the marmalade that is served. Definitely will come here again! read more

The service once we were finally seated was very good. However being seated was a nightmare. We were a table of 5 and waited over 90 minutes while other parties of the same size came in after us and were seated before us. This, despite joining their weight list 20 minutes prior to arrival. Two young adult males that looked like brothers were the hosts and it was clear that they were not sure what was going on. I'm not quite sure how the prioritized who was seated, it clearly was managed incorrectly. There was barely anyone sitting outside, we were not offered that option, the weather was perfect today. Food - grits had no taste though the sausage and gravy biscuit was good. We won't patronize this location again - back to Flying Biscuit it is! read more

My friend and I had brunch here this past Saturday and it was nice! I made sure to "get in line" on Yelp because when we got there it only took us 5min max to get a table vs others who walked away from a 15-90min wait. The food was mostly good. My friend liked her omelette and I had the lemon blueberry pancakes. They were a little dry but full of flavor if that makes sense. The mimosas were amazing!! My favorite was the cranberry one. Pricing is a little on the steep side but I didn't mind paying. I would probably get the pitcher of mimosa next time though haha Overall I would recommend trying it out! read more

I remember I went here for breakfast and ordered it to go and go the Salmon Eggs Benedict. Something told me to check my food but I was in such a rush I didn't and I got home to a English muffin, spinach and some chopped up salmon. They forgot the eggs AND hollandaise sauce!! I have never had a restaurant forget the two main components of a dish. read more

I have been here twice in the past 6 months and both times have been very surprised by how awful this place is. I have had to wait 45 minutes to an hour each time to get my food after the server took my order. The restaurant staff seems like they are all doing 5 different jobs. Each time I have left this restaurant, I feel like I just worked a shift here. It feels like you have to nag your waiter to get your food or a coffee refill or else nobody will recognize you. The food is mediocre at best, definitely not worth the hassle to get your food. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I wish I never spent any money here. read more

Food was amazing! Our server was amazing! However, the front desk service was awful. Hostess was incredibly rude. She was not great at all.

Stopped in for breakfast after a long day/night of drinking. Being a Sunday, it was pretty packed. We called ahead so we didn't have to wait for very long. The food was pretty good. We tried slot of different things (omelet, pancakes and Chicken and Waffles). I had the chicken and waffles and it was pretty good. They chicken could have been a little bit more flavorful but it hit the spot. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. Service was ok. Nothing to write home about but it wasn't lacking. Wow. Where do I begin. Monday after July 4th. I get it. You guys are busy. We waited 30 min for a table after checking in through Yelp. Fine. I get it. The day after a holiday. My party of 5 was split into two tables. Fine. I get it. But what I don't get is that after ordering, 20 min later. We were told our food will take an hour and a half. The table behind us ordered at 11 and it was 12:05 with no food. We ordered at 12:15 and they told us our food will be done by 1:00-1:30. Owners- if you see this issue, put your big boy pants on and go to the kitchen to help. This place is a joke. Don't come. Go anywhere elseeeee read more

I randomly chose this place for an early breakfast and was delighted with my experience! I arrived soon after they opened and was greeted warmly by the staff. Although he had opening tasks, Tristan went above and beyond to complete them and stay engaged in a great conversation with me too. He took the time to answer my questions as I am new to the area. He made great recommendations and my morning was awesome due to this positive interaction. I ordered the Hash brown Benedict. IT WAS FANTASTIC! Good sized portions, eggs prepared perfectly, served hot and tasted so so good! Overall I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely be back! read more

Went today for brunch...Coworkers retirement...waitress was amazing, courteous and attentive...Food was just as amazing. will return!

I should have looked at the reviews before ordering from DoorDash. It was most certainly not worth the money. My poached eggs were overdone, which seems to be a trend judging from previous reviews. The chicken on the breakfast sandwich were 2 anemic little chicken tenders. The gravy had way too much pepper and don't even get me started on the sausage. It was pork; that's the only positive I can give it. There are way better and cheaper places to get breakfast. read more

Amazing how a decent server can make the experience good or bad. Second visit was simply garbage. Wife had called ahead to see if they had a certain food item for our 4yo. Was told yes but of course when we tried to order nope. We don't have that. (Tenders & fries). Ok, he gets pancakes and all is good. We get seated and no paper menu only emenu. But the Wi-Fi doesn't work and there's no signal indoors. I go hunt down a paper menu. Wife got a chicken sandwich and said it was ok if not great. I had a Floridian omelette that tasted like the crab meat went bad 2 weeks ago. Jr's egg that came with pancakes was so over cooked I think it time traveled. This is now an avoid kinda place. Also what ever happened to would you like a refill, how's your food? Nope drop it off and disappear read more

I have been wanting to try this place for the longest time. So I finally went a Thursday morning at 9am. Though the hosts took at least five minutes to come and seat us (by this time, at least 5 other people had arrived, waiting to be seated), three place was not packed. Service was nothing to complain about. I ordered the eggs Benedict with black bean cake. I did NOT like the black bean cake at all, so I'll just order something different next time. The potatoes were fried and flavorless. Otherwise nothing to rave about, but they do have a large enough menu, I'll be coming back to try something different. read more

Excellent place with plenty of food options and friendly staff. Little busy but make its worth for sure.

Determined it was pretty ridiculous to limit the rating on wait time (out of their control).

Tried this place for the 1st time in Orange Beach,AL and I loved it. Found out there was 1 in Raleigh and drove 2 hours to try it out and it was well worth the drive. The Ipanema Coffee pancakes are better than anything IHOP has ever came out with and I love having the mimosas to go with it. Wish there was one closer to me but I will definitely make the trip back some day read more

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Another Broken Egg Cafe? YUMMY! Another Broken Egg held preview events before the official opening in which people could come in and try the food, and didn't have to pay, but were asked to donate money to an on-site charity. So they clearly care about the community as well. I was lucky enough to attend one of these events, and after perusing ABE's extensive menu, decided on the gluten-free pancake with berries. The pancake was bigger than my head (and almost bigger than the huge plate!) and was so delicious. You'd never be able to tell it's gluten free. I spoke with some of the staff who told me they tested several different gluten free mixes, and ended up purchasing this one from a small mother/daughter enterprise. It was nice to see a chain restaurant doing some research to find the best product and supporting a small business. And speaking of chains, a lot is made of this sometimes, but I never felt like I was in a chain. Yes the restaurant is new, but the decor is very homey. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I brought a friend back the very next week after ABE officially opened and she loved it. Just be warned, it's in the same building as a hotel, and gets extremely busy on weekend mornings. So plan on an hour to hour and a half wait during peak times. They also have outdoor seating, which might help to lessen the wait time when the weather gets nicer. I've been searching for a great breakfast/brunch place since I moved to Raleigh almost three years ago, and I think I've finally found it! read more

I hate to be the first person to give the "average" star rating for this location.. But that was my experience this morning.. Average. There were 3 of us that went to brunch: me, my mother, and my friend. I got the "hale Lucy" omelette which was really average.. I might even say that I didn't really enjoy it all that much. I kept wishing I had ordered the Benedict Oscar. My mom got huevos rancheros, she complained that the tortilla it came with was too greasy and too hard to even cut into. She didn't eat the shell. My friend got eggs Benedict which I tried and thought it was okay. She also said she found it average. The potatoes that come as a side were pretty dry as well. I really want to give this place another try since I had heard such good things about it. I think I will give it one more go and update my review if they blow me away. Maybe they were just having an off day. But none of us were super impressed, but I don't want to say it was a bad experience either. They should definitely not have an off day during Sundays busy brunch hour though! read more
