Great breakfast as shown by folks willing to wait. Coffee was a bit strong, although I did enjoy it. Loved the biscuit beignets and sweet pepper honey sauce. Loved my southwest scrambler and I really should remember to ask to have the salsa heated. Waitress kept my coffee cup full which is important to me. I'm not sure what happened with people who gave this place a bad review. When we arrived, the hostess said there would be a twenty minute wait, but we were seated within five. The food is just as good as what the serve in the other Memphis location. We had the biscuit beignets, sweet potato pancake and an omelette--all very good. The service was also quite good. The biggest advantage going here vice the Park Ave location is space. There is much more space between tables. It was nice to feel I was not part of the next table's conversation. The only reason why I'm giving 5 stars is because's Cj's service was great. Looking around the staff works really hard. The host greet you before you open the door all the way. I eat here every chance I get! There is a waitress (DaQuita) that served me my first visit and I ask for her every time I go back! She makes life seem to stay outside the doors by the conversations she brings up! She really makes the visit worth going back for again! The food has always been great. I was disappointed when I finally dined at this location. The people at the front were very friendly, but the service was very slow. Had to eat here due to a business meeting. Service was ok but not good. The waitress was nice but didn't know what she was doing. I ordered a burger because I've had the breakfast food and it sucks but alas the burger sucks also. Everything is just from a box or bag it seems and tastes like it. Boring plain atmosphere inside also. Why spend the money to completely redo a space and make it as crappy as possible? We recently went here for brunch with my mother. I've previously been to another location in Georgia, so I knew the food would be good, and it was. I ordered the Southwest Scrambler, which was delicious, and my husband had the Traditional Day Starter, which he says was also really good. I also had a standard mimosa, and my mom had the sangria. I tried the sangria, and it seemed more like a very sweet punch rather than a fruity sangria, but was good if you like sweet drinks. The only thing that I was not 100% happy about was the service. We used yelp to get a spot in line, and we waited maybe 20 minutes, which wasn't bad for prime brunch time on a Sunday. Once we were seated, it took a long time before we saw a waitress and ordered food, and then it took forever to get our coffee while we waited for our food. And then we had to ask for cream and sweetener. It then took a very long before we saw our food. Granted, it was super busy, but we waited approximately 40 minutes after ordering before we got our food. We rarely saw our waitress, but noticed that she was covering a large portion of the restaurant, which made it seem like they were overall under-staffed for this busy time of day. While the food and drinks were good, and the price was reasonable, I was overall unhappy with the service. read more

While the food and service are good, and they use No Wait so that you know when to show up for your table, it takes entirely too long to get food once you order. After we were seated and ordered our food, we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food. It appeared the entire restaurant was having the same experience as we witnessed the manager dealing with many complaints, as well as people leaving without eating. It's a shame, because we'll likely not go back. We've been several times and had experienced long waits for food before, but never like this. Maybe a new kitchen manager is in order???? read more

I love their food, but I was there yesterday with a group of women friends, and the white bearded man who waited on us kept calling all of us "baby," and it was very creepy & felt demeaning. Another waiter (older, white, also bearded) came up and randomly made a joke about the disabled. Not funny at all. Y'all need to talk to your white male employees. This is a late review, but I wanted to make sure I still left one. Two weeks ago I had the best experience. The services was great and my food was PERFECT. I ordered shrimp and grits and the flavors were amazing. That wasn't my favorite thing though. I also ordered an omelette, and it was what made the visit perfect. I built my own omelette, well done. For the first time EVER my omelette was perfect. It was well done, but not burnt or even scorched in the least. I had to know who cooked it, so my server went and found out it was cooked by Aubrey. Hats off to Aubrey!!!!!! I sent him a verbal thank you and a tangible thank you. It was just that good. It was my first time dining there, but definitely not my last thanks to Aubrey. read more

Fantastic! We've been here twice. No wait at 7:30am Sat. I've had two different pancakes. The first was carrot cake pancakes. I LOVE carrot cake and these did not disappoint. We just went back today (June) and unfortunately the carrot cake pancakes are seasonal to fall. So this time I had the peach cobbler pancakes. (I think they are also a seasonal item.) Again, really good. A little less peaches than I expected, but the syrup for the pancakes was the BEST syrup I have ever had. Wish I had asked about it. I will next time. My guest and I were very frustrated because they gave our table away and we had to again wait. I was told they called my cellphone at 9:30 and I didn't answer. My cellphone never rung with them calling. My reservations wasn't until 10:30, all my guest were there at 10:15. But the food was good. read more
