Rafferty's never disappoints. This location stays busy. I just love their food. The baked potato soup is consistently good. The chicken tenders are fried just right and their tender sauce is the best. The broccoli is fresh and well seasoned. The location is clean. My server didn't write any of our orders down and she didn't make any mistakes. Impressive!

While visiting a friend in this area, we decided to visit this restaurant since it was nearby. The food was okay. I had the blackened salmon with mashed potatoes and coleslaw . My husband had the same thing and we both thought it was okay food. The coleslaw was not that great. It had no zing. The cherry tea was really, really good. Our waitress was very friendly and always on top of it. She even gave us to-go teas as we were leaving without us asking. The atmosphere was laidback and casual and there was no wait time when we arrived on a Thursday night.

Ok firstly-the jar drinks are deadly lol. I ordered one for my birthday and about 5 sips in I was toasted. I ordered the open faced prime rib sandwich. The bread was disappointing. The prime rib was delicious. The green beans were perfectly cooked and seasoned. To note: I visited with my family for a birthday dinner. Everyone was very happy with their dish. The waitress was so/so. She tried to meet our needs but appeared to be super busy. Maybe more staff? I do find their prices to be on the high side for the type of food (American). There is a full bar so the place can get loud. There's plenty of parking and easily accessable. Enjoyed the food, not the prices. Probably won't be back.

Anytime I want a delicious salad I know I can come here and get the chicken finger salad with the hot bacon dressing and it is always delicious and hits the spot. Our waitress was attentive, helpful, and kind. We sat in the dining room and they still have a lot of TVs playing the games so the vibe is still vibing. I Always recommend this salad!

It has been a long time since I last been to Rafferty's. So my friend and I decided to visit the restaurant on November 16, 2024. When we got to the restaurant the parking lot was almost full. There were a lot of people inside so we had to wait about 30 minutes before we got seated at a table. Our waiter quickly took our drink and food order. The restaurant for the most part was really clean, and I can see why a lot of people come here. It didn't take long for our food to get to the table. I ordered the Backyard BBQ Burger with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. My friend had the Chicken Alfredo. My burger was cooked how I wanted, the bacon was really good, and the BBQ sauce was okay. The smoked cheddar cheese was a little bit disappointed. I expected to get that smoky taste from the cheese, and I didn't get that at all. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes were okay. I tried a little bit of my friend Chicken Alfredo and we both wasn't a fan of it. There wasn't enough Alfredo sauce for the pasta, and the chicken needed more seasoning.

Lowering my review because my truck was broken into while eating dinner at 0900 PM in July 2024. They need cameras at this location to protect customers property. Be careful eating at this location at night. I had a weapon stolen from my truck. The food is excellent, but crime is running rampant in Cordova and Memphis metropolitan areas.

The food was very tasty! You can't go without getting the croissants! I really enjoyed the Kona Chicken. I never had it and was really glad I tried it! Our waitress had a very pleasant attitude.

Wait time was about 30 mins. Food came out fast! Hot and good. Specialty drinks $14 A bit pricey. I'd suggest getting the chicken fingers off the appetizer menu. You get a lot of them, just no fries. It beats paying $18 when you can pay $13. Overall good experience. Server is sweet. Will return.

I really enjoyed my chicken salad & baked potato soup. My husband's steak was downright chewy and he ordered it medium rare. Service and ambience were fine.

I ordered the chicken Alfredo and all of the chicken was raw. I can't bite into any of it. It's still pink in the middle of the strips.

I had a perfect dirty martini and my husband had an excellent old fashioned ( chose not to do the smoked version. ) We were seated at the time of our reservation with courteous and prompt attention from our waiter. He informed us of all the specials and gave us the right amount of time to relax before ordering. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. I like the atmosphere, not too large of a dining area, I like the separate room of tables, with a fireplace, along with the area of booths for a more intimate setting. The bar itself is large and has seating on the outskirts of it as well.

I do believe C and I have only been here once as a couple. It did not go well at all, so we have not been back together, as she is holding a bit of a grudge. It's a long story but it all ties back to service. That night we had the worst table in the building and service was spotty at best. Food was still pretty good, just whole ass annoyed by the entirety of the rest of the experience. I am lucky enough to be able to be taken to/host dinner with clients and manufacturers a good bit. They like places like this so I get by ever so often. Gotta love expensed meals!!! Tehehe I like the open kitchen concept they have and the bar is really cool. The metal shelves at the bar that store the booze are bad ass. It's warm and cozy and has a great vibe overall. The last time we sat on the enclosed patio. I had not sat out there before. I think the larger tables all go out there. We had seven and there was another group of about twenty in the same room with us. Food ranges from fairly good to fucking great. I've never had anything bad here, but a few sighs have been had, mostly by misunderstood expectations of what I was getting I would say. So, quite possibly I am the problem. As with most of my problems, actually... The oysters Rockefeller are very different from the norm. Fried oysters on a side of spinach. That's what it seems like. I ate it up, don't get me wrong. I did just switch to only fried oysters after the first one. No need wasting stomach space on spinach. Charbroiled oysters is always a good move and the preparation remains traditional on that one. I do find the oysters to be quite massive and hard to chew the whole thing at once. Cutting them just seems silly though. Steaks are prepared very well and to your liking each time. I have never had a bad one. Good flavor too. I am going to spring on the Hawaiian Ribeye the next time I go on my dime. It's a classic that I remember from Steak and Ale as well as Houston's. Both now gone from Memphis. I like the she crab soup an awful lot, and just about every entree I have had here is killer. You really cannot go wrong with the food. Just order something you normally like and boom. I will also say this. The short ribs I had last time were some of the best I have ever had. Bravo on that! Additionally, I had two giant pieces for like $40! I could only eat one of them after all of the appetizers. Oh.... Yea. They have a hot lobster roll that is good! You don't see that in Memphis very often!! Get you some. Wait.... Lamb Lollipops. They have evolved some of the years but they have really good lamb chops. They used to be the exact same dish as their sister concepts of Itta Bena, BB Kings, and Lafayette's. I am not sure if the whole family still has the old version or not. Here it has changed a good bit. As I write this, I crave it.... Ugh. Damn your foods and your seductive prowess food skills! Lastly, Tommy Peters did great things for this city's food scene. I am sad that he is gone but I know he was proud of this one! Ok. That's enough, Adam.... No one reads this crap anyway. '26 - 48
