Stoney River continues to be one of our favorite places, and this visit reminded us why. We enjoyed the new seasonal salmon croquettes, and they were absolutely delicious--crispy on the outside, flavorful on the inside, and paired perfectly with the sauce. The Parmesan fries are always a must-order and never disappoint. The cocktails were equally impressive. The Sidecar was smooth and refreshing, and the Pomegranate Martini was perfectly balanced. Our waitress was outstanding! She was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job recommending the seasonal specialties. Her recommendations were spot on and made our experience even better. We chose to sit on the patio, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. It made for a relaxing evening with great food and an even better atmosphere. The warm bread with butter is always a favorite, and the carrot cake with toasted pecans and rich caramel sauce... it comes to play every single time--no games! Oh Stoney, my fair Stoney. You were my favorite, but my favorite no more. This was my second visit where I ordered a ribeye steak medium and was brought a NY strip. I knew it was incorrect by the shape, also it was very hard to cut and even chew. That's a NY strip all day and night and I never choose NY strip for that reason. I spoke to the manager and showed him my struggle and he put in for a new ribeye. The second ribeye was the correct way and easier to cut and chew. The manger even stated he could now tell the difference between the two steaks. I am not in the business of sending food back but I was so unhappy with that NY strip especially being that it was my second time pointed the error out. I am not sure how the steaks are laid out, but I would hope whoever is over the steaks would know a ribeye from a strip. I even pointed out the strip of fat in the strip steak. Ambience is still nice, but with everything time will change things. My chocolate birthday cake was delicious, carrot cake always a favorite and the cream corn brûlée was really good! I'm not sure it will be a third visit for a ribeye unless I order the bone in, but I will continue to stop in for carrot cake. It was an early birthday celebration for me and I do appreciate the manger coming to correct the situation without being rude or telling me that it was a ribeye. Pre-birthday dinner for my daughter, and it was our first time dining here. I honestly have no complaints about anything! The food was exceptionally delicious from start to finish. The bread literally melted in our mouths. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her hanger steak with au gratin potatoes, and my lamb chops were cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I could only eat two, so of course I took the rest home to enjoy later! And let me not forget those steak egg rolls--they were hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I was in need of restaurant for a work function and Stoney River came highly recommended. First of all, the vibe was great. The decor, dark and moody with accents of gold sprinkled throughout was the perfect backdrop for our dinner. The food was great. While I had the steak frites, the other dinners also enjoyed the prime rib and filets. My biggest callout was the Parmesan truffle fries didn't pack much truffle flavor. Be warned they should be called Parmesan fries. They should be better. I'll give them another try the next time I'm in the area to see if it was a fluke or if they improve the fries. read more

Been here a few times. The food, for me, can be hit or miss. The ambiance is really nice. Great place for a date night. I tried a cheeseburger and fries on my last visit. The cheeseburger was really good, but the fries were not (shoestring fries can be tricky). I'm surprised they don't have steak fries. They were not hot and overcooked. Forgot to take a pic. The food isn't worth the price: We started with spinach artichoke dip and the chips were way too salty. The dip was passable but not great. I got a prime rib medium well with Au jus. It was flavorless even tho they said it's aged cured. It had a massive fat cap, which is inedible and more for decoration. The "whipped" garlic potatoes felt more like a gratin with way too much butter that it was greasy. My bf got the steak and biscuits and they were this thin breading that was dry. We ordered five entrées, which we shared among ourselves. - The **steak sandwich** was priced at approximately $24 but appeared to be a small portion for the cost, with minimal meat. The steak was overcooked and dry, and there were very few onions and peppers included as toppings. - The **roast beef sandwich**, served on Texas toast, also lacked sufficient meat, and the saltiness was quite pronounced. - The **chicken tenders** came with six sizable pieces that were fairly tender, but unfortunately, they arrived somewhat cold--likely sitting too long in the window. The dipping sauce was average, sourced from a jar. - The **fish sandwich** was quite standard, about average in quality, with no standout features. - There was another entrée, possibly a duplicate of one of the above, which was similarly average. Service throughout the meal was mediocre. For dessert, we shared a large piece of carrot cake. It was fresh, flavorful, and the highlight of the meal. The portion size was generous, which was appreciated. Overall, the total bill was close to $200, which I found quite expensive given the portion sizes and quality of the food. We made reservations here for my honey's bday while visiting. The ambiance was nice and welcoming. Got seated on time and immediately met to get drink orders. I'm pregnant so they suggested a nice mock tail and honey got a raspberry lemon drop. He only needed one so that says a lot. It was hitting as he barely finished it. Like we like them. The biscuits and cinnamon butter didn't stand a chance which is why we didn't get a picture. I don't like bread much, but I couldn't stop eating them. I had the ribeye and max n cheese initially, but I sent the Mac back for mashed. Wasn't a fan of the Mac. Babe had the pecan crusted trout with broccoli and mashed and he love it. Had to add a pinch of salt to the dish and sides, but that's just preference. Ended the night with a bday chocolate cake slice and a happy bday candle!!!! In all I'd come back.
