We stopped in for quick bites during happy hour after a spending time at the mall. The restaurant is conveniently located near the front of the mall. Our service was good and we got our food pretty quickly. We were seated near a large group which was very overstimulating. The group became loud and rambunctious which negatively impacted our experience. We could barely hear our server near the end and we couldn't wait to leave. Despite the loud environment the food was fine. The bangin chicken was tasty. It's certainly not as good as the bang bang shrimp, but worth a try. The shrimp toast was SUPER salty and the toast was shockingly soggy. I thought it would've been like bruschetta bread texture so I was disappointed. The avocado wasn't ripe enough yet so the pieces were very hard. Maybe the chef was having a bad day. I can see the dish having potential. It would definitely be better with a firm toast, less of the salty sauce, and more diced tomatoes to balance the flavor. This place is a shadow of what it used to be. Tonight they served my wife (who doesn't eat meat) bang bang chicken instead of shrimp, which she only found out by eating one and felt sick the rest of the meal. Our son was brought out Coke with no ice. The fish 'n' chips was terrible and they presented me with the check before I had even finished or asked for it. Had a great time at Bonefish for a Saturday night dinner with my husband. Tamia was our server and she was awesome! We started with potstickers. I have had them many times before and they had be been steamed. Apparently they have changed the recipe because they are now fried. They were good but probably would not have ordered had I known they would be fried. I ordered the martini flight. The apple martini was not to my liking but that was personal preference. I had the cod imperial and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My husband had the lobster ravioli. He said it was very good but the portion size was too small. I love this spot on Mondays after work for M&M, Margaritas and Martinis! The drinks are $5 and the service is nice. The bartender is personable and knowledge of the drinks. Review - 2/22/26 at 12:15 PM My wife and I walked into Bonefish Grill and were greeted by a male host who asked if we would prefer a table or a booth. We both responded, "A booth, please." He said, "Please follow me," and led us to a table instead. We both quietly commented to each other that we thought that was odd, especially since there were three clean booths available right next to the table. The host overheard us, abruptly turned around, and very aggressively asked, "What did you say?" His tone was rude and confrontational. I initially considered saying nothing, but because of his attitude, I calmly repeated that I just found it odd that we were asked for our preference, both said booth, yet were seated at a table. Rather than addressing it professionally, he responded with a smart remark and didn't appear to be listening. I also noticed other guests nearby had stopped and were paying attention to the exchange, which made the situation even more uncomfortable and embarrassing for my wife and me -- and frankly, for him as well. I clarified that we did not have an issue sitting at a table. However, the way the situation was handled made us feel very uncomfortable. Because of that interaction, we chose to leave. We were disappointed, as we were looking forward to enjoying our lunch, but the initial experience set the wrong tone. read more

I love the social hour at Bonefish and visit often. I stopped in yesterday and tried the BLT nachos and I think I know have a new fave happy hour dish. This paired with the blueberry lemon drop was fantastic. The margarita was really strong and definitely is a nother great cocktail option. Came here on a Thursday evening. Was skeptical at first considering the restaurant wasn't even a quarter full at 7pm. Had a great waiter. Charlie provided fantastic service. The place was clean. I could do without all the different menus on the table. I really don't like when a restaurant has three different menus to browse (happy hour, chef's special, regular menu, etc.). Food was good. So, my husband and I finally decided to attend one of the special dinner invitation from bonefish grill and it exceeded my expectations. This was a 5course meal with an alcohol beverage pairing for each plate. From the looks of it, they only accepted 40-50 people for this special menu tasting. Everyone had to be there before 6:30 because that is when dinner started. By this being such an occasion, each course was timed and it was on to the next plate. No special requests nor where there any other options but what was on the event's menu. Each drink paired well with the assigned plate. The entire meal was a conversation amongst the various guest. The restaurant had all of the special dinner seated together in a particular section. So, we chatted and made friends with the table. So... not gonna lie. I ate here a year ago and wrote it off as a casualty of Covid. It just was not a good experience in any way. The kitchen staff even kinda got a little aggressive with me when I complained that the Mahi was nearly inedible. But now??? WOW!!! How things have changed. Solid drinks, perfectly cooked scallops and everything else was very very good. Service was excellent and the prices are reasonable. Megan was great!! The atmosphere is busy but easy going . My favorite place to eat when visiting Collierville. Super easy to reserve tables on their app or website and the restaurant is always clean. The servers are sweet and constantly check on you throughout your meal. Some of my favorites: dragonfruit margarita, bang bang shrimp or the bang bang fries with crab meat. Went to Bonefish for a dinner with the family. The bread was very good. I had the bang-bang shrimp tacos with garlic mashed potatoes. My husband had the fish and chips with fries. My tacos were good but my mashed potatoes were very salty. My husband's fish and chips came out hot from the fryer. My nephew has the stuff shrimp and he didn't like it, my sister in law had trout and she didn't eat much of it because it too salty. My other sister in law had the seafood pasta and she ate only 1/4 of it. My brother in law had the salmon and he liked it. The service was spot on where multiple people brought out the food. We had quit going to BoneFish in Collierville (lived here since 2004) over a year ago due to very poor service and a genuine lack of customer appreciation. A couple of weeks ago we decided to give it another try and it was really good. On 11/7, we were excited to try it again hoping things had returned to the state of our prior experiences. Unfortunately, it has not. We ordered a nice bottle of wine that took some time to receive and the waitress did not poor the first glass (or any other). We ordered our meal and was not asked ONE time if there was anything we needed; which unfortunately was quite a few things because they left the sauce off the swordfish, the broccoli was overcooked and we needed salt & pepper. It was a terrible dining experience and we will not be going back. This restaurant (at least this location) is not recommended. read more

Yesterday, I had the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Cod Imperial. The shrimp were just okay. The cod was so dry I could only eat two bites. The topping contained two minuscule, overcooked shrimp, and no scallops. The rice was not jasmine rice, and it was overcooked to the point of being gummy. the asparagus was not seasoned at all. I had the bang bang shrimp tacos with lime cream. So tasty. I would give it an 11 out of 10. The fry portion is very small on the tacos though. For dessert I had the macadamia nut flourless brownie. Very light and almost like a torte or soufflé. Homemade raspberry sauce/10. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will come again to try not only the food but the drink menu. I'm reminded of an old Seinfeld episode....you know how to take the reservation, but you can't hold the reservation. Had a reservation for 7:30 and we showed up at 7:25, but weren't seated at a table until 8:35. While the server we had was good, the drinks from the bar weren't and our food was room temp when served. The only thing warm about this night was the bread we got before dinner. Waiting past a reservation time for a table, cold food and bad drinks seem to be a common occurrence here, as both of our past two visits were like this. Came here for happy hour with friends to celebrate a birthday. We arrived around 5 and was able to be seated quickly. Our server was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. The only thing we ordered from their happy hour was the Blueberry Lemon Drop martini. Everything else was from their dinner menu. We all ordered the Blueberry Lemon Drop martini and it was a delicious drink! The sugar rim really set the drink off and it was mixed perfectly. For second rounds, some kept the same drink but I ordered a classic martini, The Cosmo. No complaints about that and loved the infused ice cube. For food, I ordered the Blackened Baja Fish Tacos (came with fries) and Mussels. The Mussels were nicely steamed with a sweet wine sauce. I would definitely order this again! The fish tacos were ok but I did like the mango salsa that it was topped with. I tried one of my friend's Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos and I actually didn't like it but they seemed to enjoy them.
