Umiya is one of the best all-you-can-eat sushi spots in town! The restaurant is clean, and the decor is thoughtfully designed. The food quality is excellent--the sashimi is fresh, and both the hibachi and fried udon are full of flavor. Their lunch and dinner menus differ quite a bit, so I highly recommend the dinner menu if you're a big sashimi fan. As a bonus, when you order several pieces of sashimi, they often surprise you with a beautifully plated presentation, which is a nice touch. However, on my recent visit, I noticed the sushi pieces have become noticeably smaller than when they first opened. The quality is still great, but the portion shrinkage was a bit disappointing, so I could only give 4 stars.

Excellent service from the moment stepping into this establishment. This was our 1st visit and we enjoyed the atmosphere, our very friendly and attentive server, and of course all the delicious food. We picked the all you can eat menu and had fun ordering items throughout our dinning experience, giving us a relaxing experience. The food runners are polite and quick to take away empty plates, to keep our table clean and clutter free...thank you! We thought everything was fresh and delicious. Next time, we will come and enjoy the happy hour specials.

This is, by far, the worst sushi I've ever had. I've eaten at a dozen + sushi restaurants in Florida (finally finding my one go-to), so maybe that's why I find this sushi insulting. Where's the fish? It's all some sort of fish salad. Even the cucumbers aren't chunks, but tiny slices (which makes it super watery btw). I've NEVER had a bad rainbow roll (it's so basic; how do you mess that up?) - til now. The "spicy tuna" roll had no spices on it. I looked. And, it smelled bad. Not fresh at all. I couldn't finish my meal. I've tried two other ones in Memphis area so far: Takashi Bistro and Red Koi. Try Red Koi. It's the best I've found so far. This stuff is cheap, bad sushi for $20. But I spent $70!

My husband and I have been waiting to try this new Japanese restaurant since it opened. We were drown to the variety of foods that you could secure at relatively cheap price point. We went to dinner which is $30 per person. I started with miso soup and the shaggy dog rolls, which were similar to California rolls. Both were tasty. On the other hand, the hibachi rice was just OK. My husband also got a few different rolls and rice, all of which he really enjoyed. We skipped dessert, but that was an option on the menu. We went on a Thursday evening, which is a slow night. It seems, but our food came out relatively quickly, except for my husband's last order which never came. We waited for about 20 minutes and then they said something was wrong with the original and they were remaking it so we waited another 15 minutes and then we decided to just go. The house was fine and the service was also fine. The drinks were not the best. However, the bartender did recommend a cold sake that had a milky texture. It was fantastic (though overpriced). The ambience is nice, especially for a quick date night during the week. I did see a couple people as well who brought children, so it seems to be family, friendly as well. I hope to go again and be able to update this review with more glowing feedback. It has potential.

This is the best place I have ever eaten. This resturant changed my life for the better. Shoutout to my server Matt Gatewood for hooking me up with the best food ever. If you go here you will feel great!!!!! Hibachi is really good tho on a real note.

AYCE sushi has officially landed in Cordova, and it delivers. For around $30, you get an impressive spread--from fresh sashimi and hibachi to creative specialty rolls that keep the orders coming. The crab puffs are a must-try: perfectly crispy on the outside with a rich, creamy center packed with cream cheese and crab meat, easily some of the best we've had. The Yellowtail on Fire was another standout with bold flavor. With this much variety at this price, you honestly can't beat it. We'll definitely be back.

Saturday afternoon before dinner hour, 4pm. The food is made fresh and you can taste the difference. Fried rice with steak is good. Sushi rolls are made different but very fresh. The avocado piece were larger in size than in other sushi rolls. Arnold Palmer is good. Eggrolls a bit underwhelming but good. Service is great, food continues to come out hot and fresh. Price point is good too for all you can eat at $30 which includes hibatchi itema as well.

Once again, this restaurant delivered an outstanding experience! The food was absolutely excellent--every dish was just as delicious as I remembered from my last visit. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. I especially want to recognize Jae Seon who was incredibly patient while I took my time ordering several different items from the menu. Their kindness, knowledge of the menu, and exceptional customer service made the experience even more enjoyable. This time I enjoyed the cucumber salad, teriyaki beef, smoked salmon sushi with rice, shrimp fried rice, and the spicy edamame. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Each bite was a delight, and it's hard to pick a favorite because everything was prepared so well. To top it all off, I paired my meal with a cold Tsingtao beer, which complemented the food perfectly. I highly recommend trying a Tsingtao with any dish here--it was a wonderful combination that made the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant was spotless, well-organized, and welcoming. The team clearly takes pride in the food and the overall experience. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a memorable dining experience. I'd give it 5 stars.

If you're open to a buffet-style situation, then this will be a fine experience for you. You order what you want throughout the meal with the idea that you shouldn't be wasteful and order more than you will eat. The service is great -- very attentive and helpful with recommendations. The more traditional rolls and sashimi were great. Some of the specialty rolls were also solid but others were a bit over the top for me.

What a fun concept! All you can eat, made to order (as in not a buffet). Small bites so you can try many things on the menu. Tons of options - soup, salads, appetizers, main courses, sushi, dessert. We ate a lot more, but have a sampling in our photos! Everything was delicious. I will say the broccoli tempura and the spring rolls were a bit soft/squishy. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our meal. $29 for all you can eat is also delicious lol! Our server was on top of it, absolutely incredible. The decor is fun! We will definitely return!

When you walk in, you're immediately at the waiting area, which I could see becoming pretty chaotic during busier times. They had Mexican music playing, which was a nice touch and helped set the atmosphere. We dined on a Friday around 3:30 p.m. and were seated right away. They also have a full bar area. The menu is huge--seven pages long! They offer everything from Mexican food and sushi to a variety of Asian dishes, plus a separate menu for alcoholic drinks. It definitely took us a few minutes to look through everything. Our waitress was pleasant, but I did feel a bit rushed. She came back several times asking if we were ready to order, even though we were still working our way through the extensive menu. We started with the chicken gyoza and a cocktail. I wish I had taken a picture of the drink because I can't remember the name, but I definitely remember how strong it was! The chicken gyoza was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and one of my favorite parts of the meal. I had originally considered ordering sushi but decided to go with the Mexican side of the menu instead. I ordered three street tacos with cilantro and onions and asked to add cheese. This is where things got a little confusing. I was told it would cost an extra $2.50 per taco if they put the cheese on top, but only 50 cents if they served the shredded cheese on the side. I couldn't understand why there was such a big price difference for the same cheese, so I opted to get it on the side. Unfortunately, the tacos were a little dry. I also tried my friend's consommé, and it was disappointing--it lacked the rich flavor I was expecting. Later, I asked for cucumbers, and our waitress initially said they didn't have any. Since they serve sushi, I figured they probably did. I ended up looking up the Spanish word for cucumber, and once I asked again, she understood and brought some out. I think there may have been a language barrier, which made communication a little difficult throughout the meal. Overall, while the Mexican dishes we tried were a bit hit or miss, the gyoza was excellent, and the menu has so many options that I'd be willing to come back and give the Asian side--especially the sushi--a try

Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and kept our drinks filled while making sure our table had everything we needed. The customer service was easily the highlight of the visit. Since it's a buffet, there was a nice variety of food to choose from. They had classic Chinese favorites, seafood, noodles, fried rice, dumplings, desserts, and more. I tried a little bit of everything, and while nothing really stood out as exceptional, everything was fresh, hot, and perfectly acceptable. It was a solid buffet experience without any major complaints. The restaurant itself was clean, and the buffet stations stayed organized even during the lunch rush. Food was refilled regularly, so there was never much waiting for fresh items. If I had to rate the food alone, I'd say it was average. It wasn't the best buffet I've had, but it wasn't disappointing either. The real reason I'd come back is because of the excellent service. The staff treated our entire group with kindness and professionalism, which made the lunch enjoyable. Overall, Pacific Fusion is a good option if you're looking for a buffet with plenty of choices and outstanding customer service.
